Great food and great prices! I definitely recommend Ricky’s. The menu is very extensive and you can customize your order.

well, not the best food or service. We were a group of 7 with reservations. When we arrived, the woman stated they don’t take reservations! Well they did over the phone the day before! We were seated and after a few minutes after our last friend, we ordered. Food came fast. My selection was not very good. I ordered the vegetarian version of lunch special 6. The tofu was very dry and greasy. It was a green bean dish but it came was only about 6 green beans and 6 pieces of tofu… disappointing. the plate also looked greasy as though it wasn’t washed with care. Will not return.

THISPLACEISTHEBOMB. We ordered here for office lunch. I got the lunch menu red curry which comes with rice. The food tastes very fresh and flavorful. My total was $ 9.50. Very inexpensive for the quantity. I will deff order from here. They make food in 15 minutes so it’s fast. Also have lot of vegetarian options.

The satay was delicious! Best I’ve had in the area. The staff was friendly and the food was awesome. Generous portion sizes! I’ll be coming back :)

RUDESTRECEPTIONISTEVER!!! I’m never the type to leave negative reviews but the receptionist’s nasty way of treating customers should not go unnoticed. Went to Ricky’s with a group for a double bday celebration and the lady receptionist just flat out shut us off and rudely told us to go outside to wait and waived the reservation tickets that she had to take care of. We get it – you’re busy and so are most people at work(duh!) but being in the customer service business, you should know how to deal with business you can’t handle, and as a person, come on, talk to others with respect!

Mom and I just enjoyed a delicious lunch here at Ricky’s Thai, sharing two dishes — one that had lightly breaded chicken with crisp broccoli in a sweet chili sauce and another that featured flavorful shredded duck, onions, and bean sprouts tossed with wide rice noodles. Pleasant light music wafts in the background and restful teak and Thai motifs subtly adorn the dining space. A real winner.

I absolutely love Ricky’s Thai! I have been getting take out from here for the past 4 or 5 years and they have never disappointed. They have great tasting food and attentive staff.

Great chicken pad thai and coconut soup, we also love the pad preon wan(sp?). If I could give one piece of advice it would be to be more consistent on hot level. Sometimes I order spiciness level 5 and it seems like a 2. Other times a 3 seems like a 5.

This used be Thai Kitchen and the owner broke away from the franchise and renamed the place Ricky’s Thai. We have been going here for about 10 years. It is the restaurant we eat at or take away from the most often. The food is very good quality, fresh and natural ingredients, very tasty. The prices are very reasonable, especially the lunch specials Mon-Fri are hard to beat. The staff is very very friendly. The quality is very consistent. The place is always very clean. It is really a great neighborhood place. If I had to find one thing to criticize, it would be that the spicy-level is inconsistent. A level 4 can be spicier than level 5(the most spicy) at times, etc… We love it. I highly recommend it, can’t go wrong.

Ricky’s Thai has a very extensive menu! The last time I was there I ordered 53 Gang Paa. It is basically a soup. The item already has one pepper. The more peppers, the spicer your food will be. I decided to stick with the one pepper and the soup was extremely spicy! I could not feel my lips at the end of the meal. That being said, the soup was so good that I couldn’t stop eating it, even with the spice. So be cautious with the soups. Next time I would ask for no spice. You can always add spice if you need too. I have had other items on the menu and have never been disappointed. They are also really good at splitting the check. You can pay separately at the cash register which is convenient. Also, prices are reasonable. My review gets a 4⁄5 because of the level of spice in my food. Its BYOB!

Just ordered take out from here, but it was very good and we plan to visit again to dine in. It appears to be a BYOB and was pretty full which I usually take as a good sign.

Always a great dining experience at Ricky’s Thai! The staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious. Tonight we tried the egg roll app and I chose to order the mango red snapper special as my entrée and it was ah-may-zing! My husband stuck to his usual entrée of duck noodles.

The food is pretty good and the service is fast. This used to be Thai kitchen 3. My go to is the pad Thai… you can’t go wrong. I sometimes also get the yellow curry which is also good.

I would give this place negative 5 point if I could. I went to this place with 2 of my friends for lunch. My dish was okay. However, my friend complained that her broccoli had«dish soap» taste. We tell the waiter but the restaurant did not do anything. NOTHING. My friend felt sick after eating two of the broccoli then she decided to leave the rest of the broccoli in her plate. The waiter pretended nothing had happened, took her plate and sent the bill to our table. The bill was around $ 37 after tax. Even we were super unhappy about the experience and unsatisfied with the service, we still decided to pay $ 43. The waiter stopped us from leaving the restaurant in the front door and asked us to pay $ 3 dollars for the tips. We should have called the police. But we were so shocked and upset and just wanted to leave the place safely. I would never go to this place again.

Came here for some beef Pad See Ew lunch special. As soon as you sit down, you get a small salad before you even order. Thai iced tea was cheap and delicious. The food came out very quickly and was delicious! Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Never waited for refills, my plates to be taken, or the check. This place is AWESOME!

I have been to this restaurant twice now — back when it was previously known as ‘Thai Kitchen III’ and more recently following the name change to ‘Ricky’s Thai’ — and it has yet to disappoint. While I was a bit hesitant to return following the name change, reading the various informative reviews from my fellow Unilocalers(thanks Lauren K. and Amalia Y.) put my remaining doubts to rest. As advertised outside the restaurant, the management and staff has not changed, and I can vouch that there is little noticeable difference between the dining experience at ‘Thai Kitchen III’ and ‘Ricky’s Thai’. I have tried two dishes here, both of which were delicious: — Pad Cashew(jasmine rice + choice of meat + bell peppers, cashew nuts, celery, onions and scallions in a chili paste sauce) — Pad Hai Lum(broad rice noodles + choice of meat + egg, chopped turnips, baby corns, onions, napa, mushrooms and scallions) They seem to use good-quality meats and vegetables in their dishes and the food is not overly greasy or salty, as is sometimes the case at Asian restaurants. Portions are large enough for a hearty dinner, and could easily yield leftovers for the next day’s lunch. Prices are very reasonable, considering the size of the portions and quality of the food. Most entrees are priced between $ 9 and $ 12, allowing one to enjoy an affordable meal without having to sacrifice quality. Staff is friendly and courteous and the décor is attractive and inviting. You can tell the employees strive to ensure that every customer is satisfied. The only negative which comes to mind about Thai Kitchen III /Ricky’s Thai is the excessive din which I have noticed on both visits. Lots of loud-mouthed customers seem to eat here, which is interesting because I haven’t noticed this at other restaurants in the area. Granted, this is not at all a fault of a restaurant or its staff, but I wouldn’t recommend going here if you are looking for a quiet, intimate dining experience. Great restaurant, overall, and I will hopefully be back soon!

This is about average. Granted I don’t love Thai food and only eat pad Thai, I don’t find«Ricky’s Thai» to be a good value for the portion. They also skimp on the shrimp for the UpCharge. You are better off getting a lunch special if you only eat basic things. Be wary of ordering food spicy. Sometimes it is too much and you will need tums or Pepto if you have a weak stomach. I learned the hard way! As far as ambiance goes, it is dimly lit but cramped. I don’t really like it. I prefer to grab and go. Take out is pretty fast and food is packed well. As such I leave a couple of dollars for a tip. Pro tip: parking lot is cramped during peak gym hours. Maybe go late night.
