I’m a regular customer at Legends and are always happy with Carlos’ work! So I asked him to do my hair for my wedding along with my bridesmaids and family members. Carlos and Georgia did an outstanding job! Everyone was so excited and happy with their hair. They all looked so beautiful and their hair stayed that way all night. Carlos and Georgia are super talented and I highly recommend for everyday appointments and special occasions!

I had been wanting extensions for a long time and when I went in to ask about them the people at the desk were sooooo nice. I was able to book my appointment for the next week and I could not be happier. Carlos was so sweet and did an amazing job, I have gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be a return customer.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON, ON DEC 16 2014, when for a consultation ‚
I was told to wait 2 days for the hair to arrive, and have my extensions done .

I called later the evening I was told by Carlos, the hair wasn’t there yet, he need it to rescheduled, I called and said my wedding anniversary was on the 21^th, I need my hair done they told me sure no problem. I called to see if Carlos can do my hair, he was OFF THe trusday, now I called SEENs I haven’t got any phone calls at all .
Yesterday I ask for my refund of 400.00 the lovely lady told me it was no problem .
Carlos call me and told me he has to speak to his manager, I told him the lady said is ok. He said ok I call you then …
I waited and waited .not a phone call at all, I just call the lovely lady answer, I ask for Carlos and they put on the phone this guy, I don’t recall his name very nasty, and star screaming at me telling me is no refund because he paid for the hair, I told him no problem, refund the hair and just give me my money back, he scream again and I told him please sr, don’t talk to me the way. He reply NO YOU LOSTEN TO ME, I WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK AT ALL IS A 48 HOURS POLICE .WISH I HAVE NEVER SEEING IN THE SALON OR NOBODY HAVE EVER MENTION… SO PLEASE BECAREFULL

All they care is about making there money, taking your money and that is it. And about the hair, NO NO NO …

As a new transplant to New Jersey, I wanted to find a good men’s salon that used high quality products. I was recommended to Legends and it was not a mistake!
My stylist was Cookie, who instantly saw what my former stylist was doing and was able to suggest how to keep my hair with the look I wanted. Great service – I was done with a cut, camo, and style in less than 40 minutes.

I hadn’t had a haircut in 8 months, and I was desperately looking for a new salon. I’m very picky about my hair, and I was tired of being let down by my old hairdresser. My friend recommended me to Legends, so I decided to take the leap of faith.
I arrived at the salon at noon on a weekday for a consultation but ended up just getting my hair done right then and there. My stylist was Lindsey, and she was WONDERFUL. When I made the appointment, I didn’t specify what stylist I wanted to see, so I guess the hair gods were smiling down upon me. She’s young and friendly and really made me feel like I had been going to the salon for years. I was nervous because I wanted to make drastic changes, but Lindsey made me feel completely comfortable trusting her with my hair. We made a plan of attack to get me from over-​worked blonde with grown out dark brown roots and damaged ends to light warm brown with blonde at the ends (ombré-​ish) and a simple cut with heavy straight bangs. Lindsey really seemed to know what she was doing and we were on the same page on how I wanted my hair to look.
My color came out AWESOME. My hair is now a reddish light brown, which was actually something I always wanted to try but didn’t have the guts to. You can call it a happy accident, but I was still very pleased with the quality of the dye job. I had a lot of different shades of blonde in my hair because of a mix of salon and home dyeing, and my roots had grown out a lot. Lindsey really managed to blend my color quite well and give it a really cool ombré effect. I’ve seen other ombré done where the blonde started too high, but me and Lindsey both disliked that look and she knew just the right place to start the foils to bleach my ends. I think I actually want to get it even lighter and more dramatic next time.
The cut was also very good. I like keeping my hair as long as possible and I was always frustrated when my old stylist would cut it too short. I was happily surprised how long Lindsey left my hair. My hair is very fine and slightly wavy. It doesn’t really show any fancy cuts, and Lindsey recognized that and didn’t try to recommend any pointless layers. She also has fine hair so she knew my struggles, and it was really great to have a stylist who knew how to work on my hair type. She gave me a little tutorial on how to style my bangs to keep them straight. Even though you can never truly duplicate how awesome your hair looks right out of a salon, her tips have helped me keep it looking almost as good.
The price of the whole deal would probably be a little expensive to most suburbanites, but I can’t put a price on how happy I was. I left the salon feeling beautiful. Everyone who saw me for weeks after loved my new look, including my stubborn grandmother. This is the best haircut/​color I’ve ever had, and I can only attest that to Lindsey and her skills.
I will definitely be returning soon for a bang trim and further in the future for touch-​ups!

I have never written a review before, but I just had to comment on my experience at Legends. I have wanted the Brazilian Keratin Treatment for a few months now and have done a lot of research in choosing my salon. After an extensive amount of research on NJ salons, Legends was the salon I felt was best. And I was right!
I am in LOVE with my hair! I had extremely frizzy, uncontrollable hair that aggravated me so much that every single day I put it up in a knot… everyday! I called on Monday, had a consultation on Tuesday and an appointment booked on Thursday! Very accomidating!
My stylist was the owner, Norbert. He was wonderful! I have to admit one of my guilty pleasures on tv is Tabitha Coffee’s salon takeover, and everything she says a professional hair salon should be doing is being done at Legends! I was taken care of the minute I walked threw the door, until the minute when I left.
The «shampoo girl» was great, adorable, friendly with a very good personality. Then Norbert took over, and OMG he did wonders to my hair! He took his time and did the process step by step to the T of what I read should be done online. I was so super impressed I was just sitting there smiling the whole time.
He said it would take 3 hours, and that’s how long it took. He put so much care into my hair that I actually felt special. I was offered a variety of drinks from water to coffee and tea about 3 times. As soon as I put down my magazine he asked if I would like another. Everyone was on top of their game and not to mention the salon was beautiful, chic, professional, and very clean!
Then the moment of truth! He spun me around and I couldn’t believe that was my hair!!! I LOVE my hair… and so does my husband! LOL. Norbert made sure I was very happy about it before I even got up from the chair, and then carefully went of the list of instructions for after care. Giving me a couple little helpful tips, and then asking if I wanted to buy the shampoo and conditioner that go with the treatment and of course I said yes! By the time I got my magazines together, my purse, my phone and tipped the shampoo girls he had it ready at the counter in a bag rung up with my total price. The price was really good too… put it this way… I will pay it again when I need touch ups.
Bottom line, not only will I be going back there every 4 – 6 months (yes it really was that worth it) but I will be recommending Legends to everyone in my company that ever brings up hair! Thank you so much Norbert, I feel like a new person with my gorgeous, soft, silky hair! My two year old said «Oh mommy that look so pretty» which just melted my heart! So thank you again Norbert for a wonderfully amazing job and a thank you to Legends just for being so professional and treating me like I was the only client in the salon. I was a loyal «Legends» customer for several years. I stopped going because I returned home several times with hair color on my face and clothes. Also, the last two cuts I had were not what I wanted and I didn’t want to pay for haircuts I wasn’t feeling anymore.
The customer service is great, the stylists are all lovely people. However, my last couple of visits weren’t very positive which is why I chose to find a new stylist.

After being transplanted to Hillsborough, NJ due to a work assignment, I began the ever-​scary process of finding a new place to get my hair cut. After no success extensively Unilocaling/​Googleing a place that fit what I was looking for. I decided to go to Legends because it was in the same shopping plaza as the supermarket I went to and looked reputable.
I called to make an appointment and the receptionist suggested I make an appointment with Cookie, as she does most of the men’s haircuts. I was pleasantly surprised with the results– Cookie cut my hair to my exact specification and happily made a few adjustments after I gave some feedback at the end.
Ultimately, this was my place for the rest of my time in NJ and was very happy with the results of each visit.
The price was sort of on the high side– $ 20 plus tip for a men’s haircut, but I guess par for a salon. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this place!
