The Ice Cream Shoppe

Was hopeful and excited on entering but that quickly spiraled down. The selection of ice cream is limited, service is not that good, and place is kind of dingy. They dipped the (only) serving spoon in a can of water to rinse it off so they don’t ‘mix’ flavors. If you keep/​rinse the used scooping spoon in a cup of room temp water — that is cloudy from the rinsed ice cream — then use it to scoop out ice cream all day, I just don’t think that is very safe to serve… We got the frozen yogurt from their machine instead. They run your card from a back room instead of at the register. One star because the frozen yogurt was decent but I’m sure that is the same self-​serve chocolate or vanilla frozen yogurt from the same machine as anywhere else I’ve been. Not sure how you can mess up an ice cream shop (apparently you can’t looking at how long they’ve been in business) but they have lots of improvements to make before I return.
