Cold Spring Pizza is a great spot to grab some food before or after hiking. My eggplant pesto pizza was delicious! Breaded eggplant, pesto, and dollops of ricotta and extra sauce for $ 3.65/slice. Slices are pretty large so I was stuffed after eating two. Crust is thin and crisp. The rolls are pretty good as well and the staff are nice. It’s a good neighborhood pizza place – one that I’d be happy to have in my hood!

Best pizza place in town! Love the laid back atmosphere and style to the place. The pizza is just what you would expect from a New York style pizzeria. Great place to visit post-hike. One thing I really love about this place is that unlike other pizza places in town(one specifically in fact, who’s name starts with an «a» and ends with an «-ngelina’s») they don’t get all upset in the Unilocal comments if someone has a problem with their pizza. Instead they just focus on the craft of making a good pie, gotta love them for it!

It’s not the best pizza I have ever had but it’s good. The people are nice and the service is good.

I have been meaning to write this review since this weekend. I stopped in this Saturday to find a busy crowd which is always a good thing with a fairly new business to the neighborhood. I was greeted by one of the owners right away. I had a white tomato slice my buddy had a BBQ chicken roll and we split a regular slice. Everything was AMAZING, fully could have ate more. I tried my bud’s roll and they really captured the BBQ taste which is hard to find b/c you can tell when some places just slab on the BBQ sauce. The chicken was marinated perfectly(comes with a side or marinara dipping sauce). My white tomato slice had just the right amount of scattered drops of sauce on it. Also I enjoyed the blue décor. Its a nice change up to the typical Red and White I am used to seeing. There’s a good amount of seating and a attached deli that I believe they own as well. All in all this place is amazing and I highly recommend it !! Will definitely come again, I need to try their buffalo chicken roll !

Awesome pizza spot! They have a nice variety of slices. The spinach white and lasagna slices were real yummy. I also had a beef patty with a generous amount of cheese. They have a lot of different bottled beers to choose from. On top of the food being great, the staff is so nice. Everyone goes out of their way for you. And they deliver to locals! If you are in town and want a casual and friendly place that is family oriented, you don’t want to pass this place up.

Great food great prices. The owner and staff all go out of there way to make sure me and my girlfriend leave with a smile every time. They also have a great bottled beer selection and don’t charge you an arm and leg for the beers.

I have to give credit where it is due. The place looks great and the workers are out of their way friendly. I will come back, while it isn’t my go to place, I will definitely return. The pizza tastes better too. I haven’t tried their other food but I will order it soon.

I don’t know what people are talking about. The pizza was delicious and the workers really friendly. Unlike the snooty people at the French joint down the street.

New owners and the food is delicious! I’m so happy that the girls from Apsara told me there was new management because I wouldn’t have tried them again and I would have missed out. I tried their chicken cacciatore and it was fabulous! Best I’ve had anywhere and so authentic. My husband had their penne ala vodka with chicken, peas, mushrooms and bacon and it was also great! Even my side salad and their house dressing was great! I’m sold! Will definitely be back to taste their pizza which I’ve heard is as good as NYC pizza! I also loved how nice and friendly everyone was when I walked in. That kind of service always leaves me with a good impression, especially in areas like this where it’s sometimes hard to blend in if you didn’t grow up nearby. I can’t wait to try more of their food!

I honestly don’t know why this place has poor reviews. I’m from the city, born and bred and I’m currently living in cold spring at the moment and this is by far the most delicious, amazing food I’ve had here and their portions are more than enough! It reminds me so much of the Italian restaurants and pizza shop on my block in the bronx. I live near arthur ave in the bx and the chicken marsala tasted just like it. Its so affordable and the portions are great. The flavor is so good. So far i’ve ordered pizza, linguine with garlic & oil with shrimp, chicken and broccoli and chicken marsala and i’m so satisfied! They also deliver, which i love! BTW thanks alex for the recommendation! she’s such a sweet girl

I need to update to an earlier review(below). I did pay one more visit to CSP after all, and it was a much friendlier experience, so one more star. Keep it up! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — I hate giving poor reviews. I would much rather give four or five stars, but there are establishments that just don’t get it. Unfortunately, Cold Spring Pizza is one of them. There should be a sign over the entrance saying«Abandon any expectation of friendly service all who enter». Wouldn’t it be nice to be greeted with a smile, or thanked for one’s business? Now there’s a novel idea. It seems this is a common theme in the reviews for this business, going back several years, and one that the owners clearly aren’t acting upon. Lucky for them, there are only two pizza joints in the village and they are not next door to each other. Unfortunately for them, the other one is better, both in terms of product and service. I just paid my last visit to CSP. A constructive suggestion to the owner(s): have the staff be more friendly; it won’t increase your unit costs, but probably will help with customer retention and boost your bottom line. Isn’t that what running a business is all about?

Recent change of food distributor and the pizza, which I wasn’t the hugest fan of, is now inedible. It would be nice to try and support the small town pizza place anyhow, but the owners have no small town love themselves, firing the name and face the entire town has come to love over 38 years at the counter. All they care about is overcharging for disgusting food and pretending they fit into the town. I’d stay away.

With the fusion of a delectable sauce, excellent pizza making skills and a classic Bronx accent, these new owners have really given hope for the people in Cold Spring by revealing to them what AWESOME pizza tastes like. In such a quaint and relaxing location, the new owners have perfected the environment in which pizza is meant to be eaten in! Whether it be from new masterpieces such as the eggplant pesto slice, fine-tuning the chicken bacon ranch or the simple, yet extremely delicious plain slice, Cold Spring Pizza is now my new«Go-To.» Move over Angelina’s, there’s a new pizza man in town and he means business! Definitely recommend! Please disregard any reviews before November of 2014, the place is since under new management and is way better. You will not be dissatisfied with this pizza, Enjoy!

I love the new owners. Pretty sure their names are mike and angelo. They are from the Bronx and they bring the flavor of bronx pizza to coldsprings! Keep up the good work !

The new owner is outrages. He changed the recipe and I am so mad. Guess I won’t buy from there anymore. Rather have Angelina’s.

A mere shadow of its former heyday. I went in there recently and was called«honey» or «sweetie» or the like. I was floored. The new owners just do not seem to get it. And letting go a 35 year employee who should be given the place since he is the heart of Cold Spring Pizza is just reprehensible. Good thing there are other options! And the option to not set foot in there again. :(((And as one very astute Unilocaler said, «they should change the name to Cold Hearted Pizza!!!»

Not sure if ownership has realized they have lost half their business to other pizzerias. I used to love this place. Now being a city boy maybe im being to picky but they have slipped up. Here is how you fix your business. YOURCHEESEONTHEPIZZASUCKS, ITSLIKEWAX. STOPBUYINGTHECHEAPCHEESEANDGETBETTERQUALITYCHEESE. I cant even chew the current cheese. ALso the staff could be a little friendlier to out of towners. That is all Your welcome.
