Sam’s Club

This is just another representative location of a Wal-​Mart store, that has declined a bit, over the years. In some ways, I am finding a level of quality, still, and they have enough to keep me coming back, especially for local shopping.
Of the whole store, there is one employee at the service desk, and she knows who she is, who has a very sour attitude, and she works painfully slow. At first, I truly thought she was just by nature that slow, but the way she conducts her over-​all presentation, I think this is designed to add to a level of displeasure at having to deal with her.
The first time I had to deal with her, I actually finally said, «I’m sorry, I don’t have time to stand here any longer. I’ll come back another time.» (Which was the truth… she dragged out things for so long, that I literally ran out of time.)
On subsequent visits, I have endured.
On the most recent visit, we have decided that this was the final straw. If we ever have to encounter her again, we will speak to a manager.
The good news? Every other employee has been friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Crowded. Few bargains. Inferior to Costco or BJ’s. Mega-​huge items.
