Bad customer service and they don’t do any exchange if the food quality is bad. She can argue with you forever that its your problem food doesn’t taste good. The price for food are just like other Chinese places so it is not expensive but the customer service is so bad that make you never come back!

I went to the China Garden for the first time last week. I enjoyed the food. The service as wonderful. I had the Chicken with Cashews. It was very good plenty of food for leftovers. It was nice close to home. Prices were very reasonable. I will be going back for sure. I would recommend this place to my friends

Our home is in Idyllwild, a small mountain community 20 miles east of China Garden(MapQuested it!) The shopping complex that China Garden is located in is the last major grocery/drug store/restaurant/gas/misc services available to us before the climb up The Hill home. Last week my husband and I were at an eatery in Hemet and our waiter highly recommended China Garden, espec for their dumplings. Last night my husband picked up dinner on his way home. KEEPINMINDTHATTHEFOODWAS«TOGO» ANDDIDN’T REACHOURTABLEFORATLEAST30MINUTES. THISREVIEWISBASEDONTHATFACT. Will update review once we’ve had the chance to «eat in.» Dumplings…delicious, even after a long transport. 12 for $ 6.25. I could make a meal of them alone! Combo dinners include soup, egg roll, rice, and fortune cookies $ 8.55 and $ 9.55(see menu pic) o ***CHICKENLOMEIN… my husband’s favorite dish. He said it was«just okay» ***ORANGECHICKEN… pretty good. It was a little sweet for my taste. ***EGGROLLS… Sadly these were to worst egg rolls I have ever had. What a surprise! There was very little filling and what there was had little taste. ***EGGFLOWERSOUP… Didn’t have a chance to try it yet. Smells great but we went right to the main course! ***RICE(brown, fried)…There was far too much rice with our dinners! So much that I froze almost two cups of it. It was good. Uncomplicated. Overall I think we need to eat-in to provide a better evaluation. The food was super fresh even after the road-trip. I will definitely get the dumplings again! My husband picked up a menu which I will try to pic-and-post to show the diversity of their menu.

I didn’t like the food the first time we went. I was comparing it to some great places we enjoyed before we moved to the area. However, after a couple of years, I agreed to give it another try. I enjoyed the food very much. We returned the next day with several family members. Again the food was good, but the service dismal. Servers tend to just disappear. No one stays in the main area for customers to speak to when they need something. I wonder if there are cultural misunderstandings. We thought that, if a bill is handed to you on a tray, it is understood that the server will take the payment. However, after a very long wait, the server came into the main room and we signaled her that our payment was ready. She looked surprised but came and took the payment. There are very few dining options in East Hemet. I’ll try China Garden again, but may choose take out where service will not be an issue.

Diamond in the rough. Actually surprised me at how fresh it was for east hemet. We were in the area on «business» and was limited on where we could eat. Rolled the dice with china garden and was pleasantly surprised. Fried rice was bland, but the Kung pao chicken and sweet and sour chicken were good. Egg rolls were on the greasy side and bland as well. Would go back under the same circumstances.

My family and I are regulars here the Chinese food is fresh to order. The sizzling rice soup is the best here and the staff is nice.
