Well the bathrooms were clean and the temperature of the food was correct. Sadly it went downhill from there. The breaded shrimp was extremely oily and had an unpleasant order. The sweet & sour pork had an off putting flavor(couldn’t swallow even the first bite). The kung pao was plentiful but just not good. I will not be back its a shame really.

My favorite Chinese food place in Hemet /San Jacinto. It isn’t like most Chinese food places that leave me feeling a little sick(as if the food wasn’t so nutritious) but taste really good and fulfilling. I usually always have leftover noodles. 5⁄5

Ok as you know they moved. The food is the same. Service, not as good. Unsmiling and sort of grumpie. That aside, its excellent chinese food. Order the wor wonton soup and house lo mein. Im telling you, the lack of a smile in the waitress wont matter.

Michelle is rude but that’s just her and/or her culture. I love the classic feeling of Chinese take out I have been going here for years. I loved the old location but food hasn’t change. Cheap prices too!

Very disappointed! Is chicken suppose to be brown? Sweet n Sour pork hard? Pork fried rice looks like spam on top. Only thing I liked was the chicken wrap thing and the fried noodles. Leaving hungry is never good for a foodie! Won’t be back sorry.

Well it looks like my family will never eat at Kim’s pagoda again. Michelle the owner was very rude and was eating her dinner during bussiness hours with customers watching, I got sick from the sweet & sour pork and she acted like we were a bother while she was eating her own dinner. they have lost a loyal customer for good but I don“t think they really care. CUSTOMERSBEWARE.

I love chinese food, authentic, savory, aromatic. What I recieved was lacking in quaility. Went with a friend who raved about it. I tried a lunch special, as that was the only menu offered. I orded seschwan beef. It was drowned in sauce and green onions. Over seasoned to the point of saltiness and the texture of the beef reminded me of raw fish. I didn’t enjoy the meal. The fried wontons were more like rangoon with no filling and rather greasy. The eggdrop soup was rather flavorless. Also, the service was rather slow. I will try this restaurant one more time, but only if I’m not the one paying.

Two stars for the service, none for the food. The owner has done a nice job of decorating, and our waitress was fine. The food had little to be desired. We were served free crispy chow mein noodles with ketchup and mustard as dipping sauce? I ordered a combo meal, the sweet and sour pork had a strong ketchup based sauce. The veggies tasted frozen. My daughters nuggets tasted cheap and from my grocers freezer. My 1 year old son sat in the oldest METAL high chair I’d ever seen, and no straps! My husband who remembers the 80’s was pretty sure it was from that era.

Very clean!!! That’s always a plus for me it’s fresh smelling hot and sour soup was good only down side is it had carrots. which I don’t really like. the shezwan beef was amazing i really liked it. My aunts food was a little too tough for her and the egg drop soup was not what she liked. but overall the food was good the atmosphere was good and they are honest people i left my wallet behind by accident and felt comfterble leaving it full of money their tell i could pick it up

Don’t waste your money. They need to take a lesson in customer service. Food was just OK, but not as fresh as other places. After being treated the way we were we will not be back.

Well, we(the whole family) took my folks out to dinner for their birthdays. Tried the re-opened Kim’s Pagoda in their new location. I have to say we were terribly disappointed in the food and service. Stubborn owner was inflexible even though we were 7 people buying food there. And then the food we got was skimpy and not of very good quality. I would not recommend going there and I will never go there again. It was embarrassing to all of us when we were trying to have a nice birthday dinner out. And to top it off at Kims, it was 80 degrees in there and we asked if they could turn down the air and they said it was 74 and wouldn’t change it and we could see the thermostat right by our table and it said 80.

I was really impressed. My dad lives here and usually takes us to chain restaurants when we visit. This place from the outside looks dubious. But everything we had was tasty. We got one of those family meal deals. I loved the foil chicken and the vegetables with shrimp dish was great. Lots of food, tasty, and you leave feeling good. Plus a full bar!

Seriously… FIVE star old school Chinese food. This isn’t Panda Express variations of Chicken or Beef, this is real deal. I’ve been eating here since I was a kid. They just moved to a new location at 334 N. San Jacinto. Nice, clean, FULL bar, reasonable prices and seriously GREAT food! We had a family dinner for three — Everything was perfect. Go in, give them some business and say hi to Howard & Michelle!

Kim’s Pagoda was closed down for about 6 months. It has re-opened and is now in a small strip mall in Hemet — no longer in San Jacinto. New Address: 334 N San Jacinto St, Hemet The restaurant is now up-to-date in its furnishings — typical black and red of most Chinese eateries. There is a bar — now visible to the dining area. It is smaller than the original restaurant. They have tables and booths as before so it is still good for large parties. The menu looked the same as in the old building. We sat down, they brought us a pot of tea and we ordered two lunch combinations: chicken chow main, and the egg foo young. They were both very good — just what we expected — egg flower soup, 2 tempura shrimp, a serving of fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and our entrees. We were glad they didn’t change their seasonings. Two for lunch were out the door for less than $ 20. I’ve had better Chinese food in other cities, but for Hemet, it is at the top of my list. I’m glad they reopened!

The décor in Kim’s Pagoda is not fancy — plastic beads and fake flowers — so when I saw that the entrees were mostly $ 10 or $ 11 I wasn’t sure I had chosen the right place to eat today, but the velvet chicken with scallops dish I tried was incredible. The woman who took my order knew right away it was my first time there. She was very friendly and helpful. The ingredients were very fresh and cooked perfectly.
