If you’re looking for something that is unique, with very tasty food, and a great local craft beer selection, check this place out! When I visited, they had 7 different local craft beers on tap. They also use some local craft beer to make icing for their donuts! They had a port city porter donut and a Lickinghole Creek Blueberry lemon IPA donut! Very tasty! We also had their breakfast bagel sandwiches and hashbrown and all liked the food a lot. We didn’t get a chance to try their burgers, but if we are back in the area we look forward to coming back to give them a try for sure.

Liked the atmosphere, but it took some time to get a burger and fries on our lunch break. The burger was very good, the fries were ok, nothing special. The donuts were very sweet and tasty.

I’ve been wanting to try this place forever and finally got the chance! So you start off by choosing where you want to sit. The décor is really cute like modern industrialized is the best way to describe it. The chairs are metal and I imagine gets freezing cold in the winter. Our server kept disappearing so not really sure what’s up there. But whatever. I got the buffalo chicken wrap which was reallllly good. The wrap wasn’t super spicy, personally I really enjoy spicy foods. I’ve also been craving fried pickles and the ones here hit the spot right on. I only finished about half. I had to get one of their homemade donuts as well. It was the vanilla cappuccino I believe. Something like that. But it wasn’t anything special anyways. Wasn’t extremely impressed and the menu isn’t extensive.

Good burgers! I was a little disappointed at the service and the time it takes to get your food. I’ve been a couple times since it opened and they haven’t seemed to work things out.

Second time here — service is questionable at best. Ordered breakfast but since it was 12:02 they wouldn’t take the breakfast order. Apparently they stop serving breakfast at 1200. Really?

The location is amazing and worth two stars in itself. The service was decent and attentive just un knowledgable on what’s on tap, what type of beers they are etc… To be advertised as beer burgers doughnuts is tough when billy jacks is just a few blocks away. The burger was sub-par over cooked and again I’m comparing to the likes of billy jacks and Jack Browns or even Jimmy Madison. I had high hopes for this place knowing that they use local beef, which is a plus. At least it’s a cool location and you won’t have to wait.

First time at Pure Eats, cinnamon bun donut & coffee was excellent. Relaxing atmosphere, very clean. Staff friendly & attentive to needs & questions about the building where they are located(which use to be the old ice house). Plan to go back soon for lunch.

Great Burger. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. The beer was cold. And the waitress was great! We topped it off with fresh donuts. Delish!

We skipped the Farmers Market sandwiches to give this place a shot. Simple bagel, sausage and egg sandwiches took a long time. The place was pretty empty. We certainly paid more than we would have at the market. The sandwiches were okay. The sausage didn’t look done and it is too small for the bagel. They also messed up my husband’s order. I know they are new to the game, but they did not impress with Breakfast. We may be back to try lunch/dinner but we won’t be back for Breakfast.

Great place to grab a burger that’s made from quality meat. The place is large, which is not seen often in Harrisonburg. But by far, my favorite thing I ate was the black raspberry milk shake! So thick and yummy and bursting with flavor. You could tell it was made traditionally. Just an FYI, the price for your burger could easily creep up on you. They start at $ 7 with lettuce, tomato, and onion included. But they have a ton of toppings, each adding to the price. So just be careful!

Stopped in after waking through the Saturday morning market. The interior of the place is huge but they have people right as you walk in to greet you and take your order. Very friendly staff. We weren’t that hungry so we opted to split a burger, fries and a shake. We ordered the burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. I like to keep it basic when trying a place out for the first time. The burger is cooked to medium unless you ask otherwise. We paid and were given a number and took our choice of seating. The shake came out first. We ordered chocolate. The shake was not very thick at all. Some people like them more milk than ice cream. I’m not one of those people. The burger and fries arrived and I could tell just by looking that it would satisfy my burger desires. The party was cooked to a perfect medium. The toppings all tasted fresh. The bun was toasted and held up well to the juicy meat. Well seasoned too. The fries were crispy like I love them and had just enough season salt on them. Overall I gave them only four stars instead of five because the shake was honestly disappointing. Great service and great food!
