Copper bar, great old fashioned, and gold fish(yes, the cheese flavored crackers). That’s all the reasons you need to visit this place.

This is a fantastic place for locals in the know and young professionals to grab delicious cocktails. They only have room for about 30 people and it’s definitely speak easy style bar in which you knock on a door(that’s for you to figure out which one) and go up some stairs and through a random hallway and enter through a random wood door. Walla! Decorated Jack Brown’s style with pallets, Edison bulbs, a large bison skull, and other niche decorations. The cocktails however are what makes this place great. As always a large selection of craft beers and very unique cocktail pairings. Highly recommend a Kentucky Mule or Raspberry Martini. They do not serve food anymore sadly due to ABC but that does not deter from what this place is all about. Most folks dress nicely to come here and is not frequented by many college students. Open Thursday-Saturday I believe

Thank you bartender at Capitol Ale House for telling us about this secret place! My husband and I were looking for a place to go have a mixed drink and lay off the beer for a while and he told us about this place. It’s right around the corner from Billy Jack’s. There is no sign, just 2 – 3 plain steel doors. I want to say the correct door is a tan color but I could be wrong… anyways, you just knock on the door and someone opens it and ID’s you. We saw people going into this door earlier on our walk to town but I thought they were just apartments upstairs. Then you walk up some steps and down a hallway, through some more doors. It’s so fun! Eventually you open the door to this little low key paradise upstairs. What an awesome place, hidden away from the world, where you can enjoy some upscale, good, strong, unique cocktails. The moscow mules are delcious and are in a copper mug and I had the Cardamon Coquito which was made of coconut milk, infused barcadi, evaporated milk, sweetened condense milk, and cardamon syrup. I was nervous it was going to be too sweet but it was awesome and strong! We will absolutely be back to this place in the future and look forward to the little thrill of knocking again!
