This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant. The 1st visit I ordered the veggie sandwich and it was literally a «veggie sandwich«. All it had on it was veggies and cheese. Underwhelming sandwich! The fries were good though. 2nd visit today — still no turkey burger option so I got the grilled cheese and fries. The fries were bland which surprised me because they were so good last time. It cost almost $ 8 for the meal without a drink! The service was great and the restaurant was clean but I will go to Mooyah for the turkey burgers.

So I should say this right off the bat… I don’t eat ground meat. Right, that means no burgers for this girl. Guess yall are wondering how I can review this place. My hubby loves this places so every now and then I’ll go. There’s hotdogs and veggie sandwiches. So first I tried the hotdog. Eh… it’s a hotdog. Certainly not worth the money the charge for it. Also, the wrap it in foil which made the bun soggy from the steam from the hot meat. Then I tried the veggie sandwich. It was a ton canned mushrooms, a couple slices of tomatoes, lettuce, onions and bell pepper. The bun was nothing but mush so I really needed a fork to eat the veggies. The veggies were extremely bland. A nice veggie burger not lose veggie sandwich would go a long way here. The fries are okay. I would prefer a crispier french fry myself. They offer regular or seasoned. We ask for light season, if not they put so much it burns your mouth and doesn’t even taste that great. The atmosphere is great. The staff are always friendly. Service is quick. You get free peanuts in the shell. Also, it makes my hubby happy to eat here which makes me like it a little more.

I’ve been here a few times over the last 3 years. This is a pretty solid burger place. Lines move pretty quickly and I like the extra fries in the bag except when I’m traveling with the bag since«grease + car upholstery = bad» so usually we just eat there. The menu is simple enough, the burgers tasty, and an order of large fries is enough for two. Peanuts are also a nice addition while you wait for your food. I don’t really ave any complaints about this place.

Typical franchise for this chain. Clean(except maybe peanut shells on the floor) and bright. I like the burgers, nothing special, but decent. Usually I get the double dressed(lots of options here). The fries are problematic. Often they are too greasy for my taste. I prefer them with the sea salt rather than the seasoning. For your drink, they have one of those mix your own soda machines

Burger patties lacked in flavor, Cajun Fries were under cooked. Staff was real nice.

Went to Five Guys today and was pleasantly surprised at how great the burger was. I’ve been a few times and the burgers were a bit greasy and the fries weren’t crispy. BUT, today it was really great the burger was perfect and the fries were salted just right. Whatever they did today, they need to keep doing it.

May be overrated? Both of my kids are allergic to peanuts and the fries are Cooked in 100% peanut oil. In addition, they really should stop making the veggie sandwich, it’s gross without any flavor. Pretty pointless to have on the menu. Instead they should actually make a veggie burger with some seasoning. So I don’t recommend this spot for people with peanut allergies or vegetarians.

Man is this a lot of food no matter what you order, and many lunch I have put myself into a food coma with no blood left in my brain because it’s all concentrating on my stomach. I love that BBQ and steak sauce are options. Staff is superb. I had one erroneous order and not only did they give me the right burger, they let me keep the wrong one. So I keep coming back since I feel I owe them. Thanks, y’all!

Burgers and fries are excellent. They dont serve much so there isnt much to write about. Will return. Also, a large order of fries can cover 3 people easy. Split a med fries and you cannot go wrong.

I love Five Guys. I always get a little bacon cheeseburger all the way. Delicious. Keep in mind that the difference between a little burger and a regular one is the amount of patties and not the actual size. All toppings are free. «All the way» gives you the popular toppings in black font, but you can request for toppings in red font as well. Many people are comparing this to In n Out but I personally think it’s better. In n Out’s burgers are too sweet for me and I always receive their fries cold, yuck. The burger’s buns are different from a traditional one, but I like it. It compliments the burger and makes it easier to eat in my opinion. I am able to taste the patty and all ingredients perfectly, contrary to other reviews. I just love their burgers and so does everyone I know! Their fries are heavenly. I have to admit that cajun fries were a bit too much for me at first, but I’ve grown accustomed to them. The regular fries are great too. Many other Five Guys that I’ve been to measure out the exact amount of fries(which come in a cup) but this one always pours lots of fries into our bag, overflowing the cup. More for me(: The service here is topnotch. Not once have I walked in and the restaurant wasn’t busy, but they are able to quickly and efficiently get everyone their orders, so don’t be afraid of the long line. It goes by fast. All the workers are super friendly. They open the doors for us, offer to take our trash although it’s self clean, and lots more!

I was told 5 guys was a lot like In-N-Out Burger. It’s not. In-N-Out Burger is much better. They have better french fries & they sell milkshakes. Seeing how I’m no where near an In-N-Out, our family tried 5 guys. I ordered my burger without the bun. They served it to me in a foil tray. Meh. Other places that I’ve ordered a burger without the bun they at least serve the patty between lettuce leaves. Not a big deal. The burger was good. I didn’t think 5 guys was bad but for what our family of 4 paid we’ll go to Phil’s Grill next time. The price was what determined my 2 stars.

So it finally happened… after YEARS of people telling me that I «NEED» to try a Five Guys burger because it was the most amazing thing on this earth(according to rumor)…I did. It’s absurd the amount of times I felt like I had somehow offended someone on some deep seeded personal level because I had not had a Five a Guys experience. I figured, «Man, what a loyal fan base. They must know what they are doing.» I tried not to get my expectations up too high from all the hype, but it was hard not to expect some sort of spiritual and divine cheeseburger religious experience… I got a cheeseburger, a regular Cajun fries, and a coke. And MAN I wish I split that order with someone! I didn’t realize that a regular cheeseburger was a double patty! If I had known I probably would have ordered the«little burger» instead(which I assumed was a junior cheeseburger but come to find out it’s actually a normal sized burger). Also, I love my burger fully dressed and at Five Guys, fully dressed comes with: mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. Plus there’s more toppings available upon request. So between the toppings and the double patty it all certainly adds up to be a pretty hefty burger. The Cajun fries where GREAT but SUPER salty from the all the seasoning they put on them, so I probably drank enough coke to be MADE of coke by the time I left(good thing there’s free refills). The free peanuts are a cool idea. Not like you have any time to eat them since the food comes out super FAST! There was tons of people there and huge line almost out the door when I showed up at peak lunch hour but they kept it moving quickly and I barely had time to fill my drink and pick a table before my order was up. This place is nothing if not PUREEFFICIENCY I’ll say that much. They hustled so much behind the counter that I felt like I needed to swipe on an apron and help out myself! The staff was very friendly and the girl taking my order was great at explaining how everything worked. I know a big complaint at Five Guys is the cost. But for a double patty burger, giant fry portions and a drink I can’t really complain at $ 11. Plus I probably won’t ever order that much food in the future. Next time I’ll probably get a small fries and a «little cheeseburger» instead of regular fries and a regular cheeseburger. Pros: FAST and friendly service, big portions, fairly priced. Cons: I found the patties to be a bit on the thin size but it certainly didn’t disappoint.

It’s…ok. Over-priced for the quality of food. The burgers are ok but in all honesty, we had a better burger at Dairy Queen. Seriously, I’m not joking… DQ had basic burgers but with a smoky flavor and good sauce amounts. The young lady at the counter could NOT have been more helpful. The food was just ok. The fries were a bit soggy and since we ordered the«Cajun» fries, they came coated with a dull flavored powder. If I happened to be in the area and was really craving a burger, would I come back? Naah. But we’re glad we tried it. That’s about it.

Five Guys is supposed to be the best burger a bun has ever seen. In my opinion it falls way short of that distinguished honor. I got a «little cheeseburger» little because it had one patty instead of two. I had it dressed mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickle. Nothing fancy, but I could not even taste the burger! I feel like I just ate a lettuce, tomato, & pickle sandwich. I’m disappointed in that because I love a good burger, and I feel I just wasted my money.

I was very underwhelmed by Five Guys, especially as I had heard it was the east coast’s answer to In n Out. Let me tell you, this burger pales in comparison, plus it’s more expensive. I got a regular burger(which the server did warn me was a double patty, which I am glad it was because I was hungry) «all the way.» Things I liked: mushrooms, grilled onions. It’s cool and a bit nicer to get these on your burger, makes it feel less fast food-y. The patty itself was pretty good. The cheese was unremarkable. Thing I didn’t like: the bun. It had a not-quite-right texture and taste to it, almost too dense and sweet. I paid more than I would like for the burger, only for it to be drowned out by this weird bun. I got the Cajun style fries which were good; I think I like things REALLY seasoned though so that may be why. I am impressed that you can get a hot dog or veggie burger here, though frankly, with these prices, I’m not sure I’d ever go back. It’s just barely better than Wendy’s at twice the price. It’s not as good as I.N.O.(as previously mentioned) and not nearly as good. Anybody want to sign my petition to get the real best fresh fast food burger out here?

100% FRESHBEEF… Fresh Cut Fries cooked in 100% peanut oil… YummmmmY Well i finally made it. And apparently at a good time, I WASNOT greeted with the«line out the door» phenomenon; thank you Jesus!!! Upon entering, its quite busy. People preparing food. People eating. People talking. People taking orders. In short, the use of your inside voice is not necessary. There were only 2 people ahead of me, how sweet is that??? No struggle there. But here’s the reason for 3 stars instead of 4… The cashier who was«supposed» to be taking my order found it moooooooore interesting to talk to her fellow cashier & that cashier’s patron than to take my order. So, I PATIENTLY waited for her(Maya according to the register receipt) to acknowledge me, greet me & ask me to step forward before I did so(I initially thought she was helping her fellow coworker with an problem, but as I ear hustled, I learned she was engaging in a nonchalant conversation with the 2 other ladies)… So, 2.5 minutes passed & she FINALLY acknowledged me & took my order(which, of course, not surprisingly she got WRONG). The food was good. Temperature was great. No biting & shuffling of food in your mouth because it was too hot. I got a little cheeseburger, thanks to my neglectful cashier, «all the way» less pickles. Grilled onions & mushrooms made me Happppppppppppppy!!! The burger prices seem comparable to Wendys, the fries are a little pricey, but I skipped out on that portion of the experience. Free roasted peanuts for your dining pleasure, but don’t throw those shells on the floor, as the sign directs; this AIN’T O’Henrys(well that part isn’t in the sign… I threw that in for free) I enjoyed my dining experience, but I failed to see what all the hype was about. But hey, «I came, I saw, I conquered…» Parking is shared with other retail establishments in the strip mall area, but there’s really NOT a shortage of parking spots. The outside dining is a plus.

I heard quiet a few things about this place from people all around. I noticed that they opened one up by where I live. So I decided to check out,“Five Guys Burgers and Fries”. Yes I know there is a typo, and no I am NOT the one who posted the business listing. {edit}- looks like they fixed the typo, I guess no yummy french feies for me ;) When I got there they had a long line out the door. The thought that kept racing through my head was that the food better be worth the wait. as I inched my way to the counter which took about 25 minutes. I finally got to the cashier. She was very friendly and explanatory about the menu. She gave me suggestions to order. So I picked what I wanted and placed my order. I ordered the Bacon cheese burger with cajun fries. They give you multiple options of what you want on your burger. The toppings I chose were grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The burger was fantastic! I also tried the cajun fries they were good also! Still the thoughts of that meal dance through my head. They sell hot dogs at five guys, so I might keep that as an option. Also for vegetarians out there they do sell grilled cheese sandwiches and a veggie burger. One thing that I will note is that the fries are cooked in peanut oil. Also they have free peanuts available for customers. If you have any allergies to peanuts than this place is probably NOT for you. I just thought I would throw in that disclaimer. Another heads up is how busy this place gets. You may have to take your meal to go given the fact that indoor and outdoor seating may be occupied. The prices are pretty reasonable here because you can get a filling meal for under $ 10. It still boggles my mind that this place is fast food, because it is almost as good as most gourmet burger spots. I will admit that for a chain fast food restaurant this place is top shelf. This place is definitely worth checking out. In short good food, good prices, and good service. Who could ask for anything more?
