The service is fast & our waiter was great. I didn’t care for the Catfish Lafitte though. The thin catfish is delicious. You can taste the lemon in the seasoning. Lived the alligator poppers too. My family not so much. The liked the boudin balls though. Nothing special about it but would eat here again.

One of the worst experiences ive had at a fast food restaurant. The server we got went ahead and threw our plates in the table as if we were dogs. Im sure the food is great but i would avoid this location.

They need to do something about the speed or lack thereof in the drive thru line! I was in line for more than 20 minutes! Had there not been someone behind me I would have left. This is totally unacceptable.

Let me start off by saying that the garlic fries are the bomb!!! Would always see the commercials and finally made it in for the first time. Hubby got the fish sampler, he said his catfish was a little small and not enough shrimp for the $ 11.99 price and I got the deluxe bacon cheddar hamburger. It was a good size burger that I didn’t even finish it. Will definitely go back! Line moved very quickly even tho we went during lunch time.

I love the food here, especially the garlic fries! I don’t even mind waiting for forever and a day in the drive thru for some good food. What I dislike about it is that I’ve been waiting in line for 10 minutes and the young lady at the window hasn’t catered to the person in front of me because she’s been talking on her cell phone the entire time. I’m all about using your phone during slow times — but when its busy that’s so unprofessional. Just because they can’t see you through the sliding window, doesn’t mean I can’t see you through the little side window. Show some freaking professionalism! **Edit** Back again… I am pretty sure there are no managers here! Why am I constantly being delayed because these people wanna stay glued to their cell phones?! Smh!

I frequently eat at the veterans location across from Dorignacs. Love the food and service THERE. Had the gumbo and thin catfish 9.99 special. Gumbo was tasteless and lukewarm. Two pieces of fish were warm and one was cold. Although there was no one in line in front of us we waited quite some time to be rung up as employee was ringing something up for another employee. The girl who came to our table was pleasant and attentive. Didn’t have time to reorder and eat so left the gumbo and ate the two warm pieces.

Food is always good. I ordered my food to go. It was shrimp and oyster combo. It was tasty. Customer service was great.

I like this location better than the one on vets. Friendly staff and the wait is never long. The food is good although I am NOT a fan of the garlic fries. Surprisingly I like their hushpuppies — I’m usually kind of a snob on hushpuppies. My kids love the kids shrimp basket. I like to think it’s because of the shrimp but it’s probably because of the free ice cream that comes with it. Mom notes: booster seats available, waitstaff gives plenty of napkins, several kids meal choices — something for even the pickiest of eaters!

It’s nothing really special about this place. It’s a casual dine-in restaurant. You walk up to a counter to order, and you’re given a cup and a number. Pretty much everything is self service except for a pointless waitress bringing you your food. The«food runners» were very courteous though. The seafood is mediocre but you do get a decent amount of food for the price. I ordered the thin catfish & shrimp combo but looking at my bf’s thick catfish platter I suddenly became disappointed at how this establishment sells their catfish. «Thick» is just a regular sized catfish filet and«thin» is TRULY thin. It’s like eating a catfish crisp. It reminded me of eating those 100 calorie Chips Ahoy cookies. I honestly expected the thin cut to be half the size of a regular filet and not a dang crisp. My advice would be to avoid ordering the thin cut catfish. Anyway, I did enjoy the shrimp but I wasn’t a fan of the garlic butter fries. My daughters enjoyed their fish and shrimp meals and enjoyed the free ice cream even more. I would return again but I’m staying away from those CATFISHCRISPS!

Great burgers and amazing fries. They’re pretty pricey for my liking but they have an ice cream machine out for the taking. Yummy!

Food was good but service was lousy. Never saw a waitress until we were finished eating.

I swear they push that ridiculous«thin cut catfish» because they can make one thick cut into 5 pieces and sell you mostly batter. The thick cut is fabulous and you actually taste fish. It’s delicious! The thin cut is fish-wise a rip off even at $ 10 when you can get 3 – 4 times the fish for a few dollars more.

We had the Big Cheasy and the All American and both were so so, not impressed and especially not for the price. The garlic fries were oily. We did order the Alligator Poppers and they were awesome.

Tried this and I was disappointed. Seemed more like a hybrid fast food joint than an awesome seafood restaurant. Pretty much all their items are fried. Ordered the fried catfish, fried shrimp and crab cakes. The catfish were overcooked and had way too much batter. The shrimp was nothing to write home about, you can get similar quality in the Walmart frozen food section. And the crab cake with fried green tomatoes was heavily doused with sauce. For the price I expected something a little better. Many better options in the area that are not too commercialized like this one

Odd to order at the counter and be served at the table, but the food was god and huge portions. Servers are very polite and helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the local food. The gumbo was good and the Buffalo shrimp Poboy was awesome.

Eggplant entrée = amazing! Salad, Poboys, fried catfish, crawfish queso & alligator bites are great! I appreciate this place! Come in, order you’re food, they’re quick and easy going. Great first experience.

Your typical casual fast dining location — its nothing super special but you can either dine in, get a to-go order or even drive through. The drive through usually takes a while because they actually cook the food to order. I prefer to call ahead and get a to-go order for salad — about $ 11. This location(and all NOLA hamburger locations) get a 3 star review because the food is just mediocre. The salads are great but not worth the $ 11 price. This location, in particular, has a really steep drive way and when I was leaving one time it scratched up the bottom of my bumper — be VERYCAREFUL when leaving the parking lot.

Two stars for the staff and alligator popper, peach tea & garlic fries… I had the fried oyster plate while my fiancé had the thin fried catfish. Neither of us was highly impressed with our dishes expecially for the price we paid. We were here for a family reunion & relatives recommended this place. I really wanted to just go to Copeland’s next door but they insisted. Not exactly a place I’d recommend. If they had a groupon or someone else paying– sure i’ll go again!(But no more bland oysters or pitiful thin fried cat fish.)

This is one of the best burger joints here in the big Easy! I tried their cajun burger it was delicious and I also liked those garlic fries that came with it. After eating at this place it makes me want more. I definitely like the fact that this place is close to where I live. The service was rather mediocre though. But all in all it was a great dining experience.
