I love Bella! Great selection of contemporary clothing, denim, shoes and accessories. And the customer service was phenomenal. 5 stars for sure!

I’ve been to Hanover twice to visit one of my best friends and always end up coming to this boutique and spending money. I come from San Francisco, where we have abundant shopping, and am pretty particular when it comes to buying clothes in stores. This is a well curated assortment is clothing, and what you might find at Shopbop or Cusp. There are a lot of Shoshanna dresses, Joie tops, Citizens of Humanity jeans, Sevens, AG, Paige and things are organized in such a fashion that it’s easy to shop. You can get casual clothes, dressy clothes, party dresses, things for the beach, jewelry and shoes here. They have a decent sale area where things are generally 30−50% off(2 – 4 racks). I’ve picked up something on both occasions and been pleased with the quality of product and prices. Plus, no sales tax in New Hampshire is pretty awesome. The dressing rooms are a little bit small and there are only 2 of them, but it’s never really been a problem. Definitely check this boutique out if you’re in the area!

Shopping in the Upper Valley is a far cry from FIfth Avenue, but Bella is a great little contemporary label gem. After buying your winter sub-zero gear at one of the 74 outdoors shops in Hanover, you can go to Bella for a ray of sunshine in the form of Alice + Olivia dresses, Splendid knits, and Equipment blouses. It’s like your own little Shopbop has come to NH. It is small, but they pack in a lot of merchandise and even manage to have a good selection of shoes and accessories. I wish they had new stuff more often, but then again it’s an expensive store in a small town, so I’d imagine it takes them awhile to sell through everything.

Went in here looking for gifts for my girlfriend’s birthday. There were no other customers in the store. Both people working, one a younger employee and the other an older woman(probably manager or owner) didn’t say a word to me. No «hello». No «can I help you with anything?». Not even a smile. They just stood around and glared at me. I don’t know if they were put off by the fact that there was a male in their women’s store, but it was clear that I was not welcome. I walked right out. Bella, I was readily prepared to give you hundreds of dollars of my money, and all it would have taken was the slightest hint of friendliness. But you blew it. I’ll never be stepping foot in your store again. There are dozens of other«women’s boutiques» in the Upper Valley that are run by nice people. Don’t waste your time with this place, guys.
