La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

Hands down the best menudo I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m very picky and only eat my own menudo, but this was very tasty and had good flavor. After adding all the fixings it was amazing!!! Definitely will eat menudo here again,

Going down hill extra fast. Not sure why service sucks they are slow and at times there are no waitress. We have been coming here for over 20 years and I no longer live in Hanford. I live in San Jose came to the valley to visit my family in Visalia and I am sad to say I will not be back anytime soon. I am very sad about this. Plus our drinks sat at the bar for a long long long time. Not good not good at all. And it seems just to go down hill fast.

Well today the soup was a bit salty, as was the refried beans. Crunchy rice, obviously undercooked. Wasn’t asked if I wanted my deviled chicken spicy or mild. So it came out spicy.

Alway solid Mexican food. Great tacos and reasonable prices although they have gone up 80% or so over the years. Service was a bit slow in the bar but had Sunday ticket and tossed on the game for us. Not many tv’s in there though.

This place used to be good. I agree with another post. It has gone downhill.

By far the best mexican food in town. Very good flavor and very good portions. I had the one of the shrimp dishes and wife had the asada tacos. We loved it. And the salsa and chips were perfect.

This place is just going downhill… I used to absolutely love this place but its just turned into something else. They’re food doesn’t taste fresh anymore, and their beans and rice have lost its yummy flavor… I ordered the chili verde dinner plate and there was so much fat on the meat i swear about 50% of the «meat» was pure chewy, soggy fat. Theres also word going around that they reuse the chips that people leave leftover in the basket… Very disappointed in the turnout of this place, i don’t know whats happened to it.

Horrible, horrible service!!! Food was a 3.5 star if that but service was just horrific. We actually had to get up and find our server to get our waters, chips, to go box, and our check. We are far from service snobs, and this was actually the worst service I have ever had. Save your money.

What happened? This place was so good and our favorite in Hanford. The portions are smaller, the concha bowl wasn’t even in a fluted flour tortilla bowl. It was a burnt something on a new small square plate. The tostado was not something I recognized. Don’t know that we will return after so many years of great food. Please raise your prices if you have to, but don’t compromise the quality.

La Fiesta is a local favorite of ours. This is one of those places that if you’re not a local or know a local that tells you to go there, you wouldn’t know about it, but I’m sure glad I do :) We love La Fiesta. I will say that the service can be very slow at times especially if you come during peak times, but if Myra is your waitress, you’re in good hands. She’s on it! The food is always great and very reasonably priced.

Why I keep giving this place a chance I will never know! Probably because Hanford has the worst Mexican food ever! Which is surprising! This place is the very worst! Their food taste so horrible now! I didn’t think they could get any worst but they have proven me wrong! I think their refried beans are made from northern beans! The chicken enchiladas were so dry and taste horrible not at all like chicken. The sauce on the gristled dry asada was a yucky orange sauce, the carnitas meat was like jerky meat! The rice was plain tasteless, the guacamole was tangy like tomatillo salsa. The chips were greasy! This entire family meal was one huge disappointment & a huge waste of $ 45.00!!! (I should have went for sushi!!) the good thing was I learned a huge lesson «no more giving La Fiesta another chance!!» They definitely suck!

This place is dirty with bugs! My server swatted a huge moth flying around with her bare hands! Then I watched her touch the silverware and napkins immediately after to «set» my table! Gross! Plus, I get sick every time after coming here, GUARANTEED. I’ve tried this place at least 10 times, ordered different things, etc… always ended up on the toilet! Don’t risk your health for lower-​than-​average food that’s probably prepared in a dirty kitchen!

I am hoping that this will help them improve. Tonight we went with our two kids for dinner and arrived at 6:30, our server took our drink/​food order but never seen her again. After 8:00 and still no food we decided to leave. We payed for our drinks and left without an apology. Also there was other families their that were so upset that they had also waiting that long. I totally understand that this place is crazy busy, but they should know that by now and staff more employees during a busy evening.

This restaurant is awesome! It was recommended by many local people from Hanford. This has now become the to-​go spot when in town. The place is clean, service is prompt, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the diablo shrimp burrito.

Thank God for Unilocal!Otherwise i would be yelling at the place! We came in and no one greets u. So we asked the nearest worker if we sit ourselves? She said «uh sure». So we saw an empty booth that needed cleaning, & the waitress offered to clean it for us. We waited by waiting area, & then she called us over to sit. She took our drink orders. And then we waited, and waited… and waited. And then we asked another waitress for another drink order and she eventually took our food order. Then we waited some more.
We see a new couple sit next to us, that came in about 30 minutes after us. Well, about 15 minutes later i realized that our waitress forgot about us when she bought the new couple their food. I poked my head around the corner, & said «did you guys forget about us?». The waitress said «oh». And we immediately got up and left. Our waitress apologized to us about forgetting our order, but no one likes being forgotten. And i was saying the whole time to my hubby how nice this place was. Well in my opinion they have horrible service or they dont communicate well. I think they need to figure out better ways of sitting customers bc im assuming that thats where the problem started. Also our drink order was placed twice bc our drinks were also forgotton. The only thing im glad about is that we didnt have to pay for our drinks. Sorry La Fiesta u need better servers.

If you can get over the dirty appearance, floors, walls, etc, and it’s worth a try!!! It’s a local hot spot that’s for sure! Always busy!!!
most of the entrees are tasty… The food is placed under a heat lamp that sometimes burns the meal, but the enchilada sauce is GREAT!!!

Best carnitas burrito i ever had in my life. My favorite go to place for a carnitas burrito. They stuff it with just meat cheese and pico de gallo, no rice and beans as filler, i get beans on the side. Big burrito. I never spend more then 20 bucks here with 2 people drinks and alot of food plus tip. Love this place

A past client of mine told me about this place and that he always stops here when passing through Hanford. Over the years I always notice cars in the parking here lot while staying in the hotel down the street.
Shreaded beef taco chicken enchilada and chili reno were all great!

By far some of the best chile verde i’ve ever had. Havent been here in about 8 years and it is just as i remember. Great food, tasty margaritas, and a great price for the amount of food! Will be enjoying my leftovers for the next few days.

Great place for good food and margaritas! My mother and I ate lunch here and enjoyed our time and our food! Great staff and it looks nice inside.
No complaints here!
