Cisneros’taqueria II

So this would be a 5 start review but I just can’t! As much as I love this place I got to say running out of beans and salsa by 6 pm along with most meats is a sign of laziness. Being told they only make two bins of beans for the whole day by the owner is absolutely sad. Now I was a cook back in the day so what this tells me is laziness and unprepared for your customers. Seriously some of the best tacos ever but due to lack of preparation and always being out of choices of meats, beans, and salsa I’m only going to give two stars!

This place looks like a tiny hole in the wall that you might just wanna drive past, but you SHOULDN’T! They have delicious authentic Mexican food at a great price. The only reason I’m not giving this place a 5 star is because of the location. Other than that the food was great and the workers had good attitudes.

Good place for lunch. This was my first time so I had four tacos (one of each meat). Good tasty food. Our meal for 8 tacos and 2 sodas was $ 12. I’m an eater and could have downed four more but that’s just too much food for a work day. The restaurant isn’t much to look at and the neighborhood stinks. But I’ll come here in the day time. From the iron bars and cages around the windows and doors I think they’ve been robbed a few times. (…that’s strictly my impression). I didn’t see any news vans or yellow police barricade tape up so it was safe to go in. I give the food 3 stars, service 3 and the environment 1.5 stars. So take your fat coworkers and leave your pretty woman at home.

This place is amazing for some fantastic hole in the wall Mexican food which is hard to come by around these parts. Service is fast and the gentleman behind the counter is always very helpful and attentive.
My only issues with the place (which is why I’m giving them only 4 out of 5) is they tend to run out of some of their meats especially towards the end of the day. Maybe this is a good thing and means they keep their stuff fresh. On my latest visit (yesterday) they were out of salsa, but had beans. Nothing major, but it would have been nice to have. Otherwise the food was fantastic and service was fast. The inside is a little dated and depending on what time you go don’t plan on eating there as there are not that many seats. Keep up the good service and good food coming Cisneros!

Best Dollar Taco value I tried so far. Don’t be fool by the location of the area. The parking and building threw me off when I was looking for it. Going inside looks like a little hole in the wall joint. But man their Tacos are freaking good. I usually order 6 and get full from that. So if you looking for taco for a great deal and value check this place out.

4 stars because the tacos de cabeza are off the hook! The rest are whatever and the place is shady. Old. Cash only. Dirty

First time ever in Hanford I was brought here because apparently it’s a good place to go for tacos. This spot is kind of in the middle of nowhere seemingly, there is a dirt parking lot outside.
Inside the aroma is quite nice and the interior resembles a home kitchen with the tvs with local spanish channels on. There is a pool table.
Tacos are amazing. The guy who was at the register was friendly despite my spanish speaking limitations lol
I would definitely go again if I find myself in Hanford.

The food is BOMB, don’t get me wrong, that is for the first 3 stars. HOWEVER, the owners are racist against non-​mexicans. How do I know this? Well, when me and my caucasian grandmother go into there, we ask for a second thing of salsa, and the owner will tell us there is no more. Without even checking the back!
Another time that got me thinking this is because there was no beans, and I asked him if they were going to put more beans in. He went to the back and gave us one thing of beans, without bringing out the serving tray for everybody.

This is the greatest mexican food in the Central Valley. I love that their burritos are loaded with meat. Their customer service is amazing. This is a must stop for all mexican food lovers.

Every time we come back to the valley, this is one of the spots we must eat at. They consistently provide delicious tacos.

Best tacos in Hanford. Any meat and you can’t go wrong. Really like the carne asade, cabeza and lengua. I’ve had the burrito multiple times too and its delicious. They’re more seasoned than Jaliscos. Still undecided on whose burritos I like more. So far I haven’t found anything that wasn’t outstanding

I’ve gone to Cisneros now two days in a row, the carne asana burrito is very fresh and tasty your taste buds will say Hora. Le. My bueno, I didn’t like the cabbage in the burrito, the tacos are very good that’s the meat mind you, the tortilla I didn’t care for the taste, the tacos cost $ 1.25. Burritos $ 3. I’ll go back again the meats are very fresh.

I really like their Carne Asada Tacos… I just always forget to tell them no salsa, its too hot for me, maybe after I am pregnant-​but not during LOL

Best tacos I’ve had in Hanford (and I work in Hanford so I’ve had a few meals in that town).
It may be hard to find the first time. The place is a bit inconspicuous, a small light green building, with a mostly dirt parking lot. This is not a fancy place, but a taco dive. Inside they have tables and seats, but depending on when you go, its likely packed, and you won’t find any open tables. The counter where you order has bars (not for booze but to keep robbers back). But don’t let that hold you back, the tacos are awesome, and to top that they are only a buck! Yeah awesome tacos for $ 1, so get like 5 – 6. They are closed on I think Monday, or Tuesday, one of those days. This place is one of the hidden gems of the area.

You really can’t beat dollar tacos… I mean I ordered 6 tacos and when he told me the price I wished i had ordered like 10! they were not bad for what they’re worth. only thing i would change about the place is the building… the outside looks like crap… it has black windows and the paint scheme is an eyesore. I’ll be going back!
oh one more thing… I didnt leave my car without my pocket knife because of the way the place look. but once you go in… its not threatening lol so go on in!

This place is really good… Tacos are awesome burritos… If you like taco trucks; well, this is a step up my friends.

Oh its good!!! Only bad part is that Cisneros is closed on Tuesdays, and that’s always the day I want it the most! Excellent prices, friendly employees, food is super good, super fresh and when its gone, its gone! Worth the trip to the south side! Bring your cash-​its cash only. They will happily pack any or all of it to go, and they offer complimentary beans (damn, they are good!), salsa cruda, limes, jalapenos and radishes. Really, very simple, and very good. Best Mexican food in Hanford, even though it’s basically a taco truck menu (tacos, tortas, burritos, tostadas-​de asada, al pastor, lengua, cabeza); also shrimp cocktail, and the famous Torta Lomo). Great for a quick and cheap meal, and is really satisfying. I like that it’s all fresh made from scratch-​none of that processed, precooked junk. The meat is lean and clean-​no chunks of fat or gristle. Anyways, I could go on, but really, you have to go try it.
