This place sucks. I just walked in since no appointment is required. It’s 10:49am. This guy told me to come back at 5pm. Why??? They don’t even look busy. Drove here for nothing

Love my new haircut & color. Friendly service, clean spacious salon. They also have nice high quality hair products.

I’ve been coming here since high school and I’ve never been anywhere better. The style is always great and the customer service superb. And when you start coming long enough Eugene will actually remember what you like. There’s always appreciated dedication in the styling that adds a great, priceless finishing touch.
On a side note the salon itself is always clean and nicely decorated with decent music.
It goes without saying that I really recommend them!

Came in today for just a trim, it’s a little pricier now (about $ 50 – 55) depending on the style. But Eugene and his wife are really friendly. Had my cut done by Jessie. Took off one star because our appt was at 1115am but we didn’t get started until 1200. Clean establishment and I would come back again.

Hair stylist Eugene and his beautiful wife are talented folks! I have been going here for a very long time, and I am always satisfied with the results. The quality of the hair cut and coloring is superb. They use high quality products as well. You leave the place with soft hair!

Eugene and Jesse are the only stylist I trust cutting my hair! I have to drive 22 hours from Texas just get my hair cut to perfection like Eugene does. Jesse cut my 9 yr olds hair and layered it perfectly! and same for my 55 yr old mother! we love Eugene’s and can’t wait to come back regularly once we move back!

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I love Jesse and Eugene they treat you really good from the minute you walk in till the time you leave.
Jesse has always done my hair changes in color root touch ups & haircuts and I always leave feeling good!
I recommend scheduling an appointment they do get busy.
It’s pricey but well worth it

This salon is so clean and hip. Jessie, Eugene and Stephanie (i hope I got her name right) are wonderful!!! They are accommodating, professional, kind and polite. You guys are awesome!
Thank you, thank you Jessie! I’m loving my balayage ombré! Jessie fixed the color of my hair last year. Since then she’s been my go to hair stylist.

I got my first digital perm ever and my first cut by a professional in about 5 years here. (Some background info: Im the kind of girl that usually does DIY dye and cut jobs, and doesn’t know how to do much besides pulling it up in a pony tail.)
Eugene cut my hair and explained that there are 2 machines for digiperms: an older one with heavier rollers, or a newer one with red clay rollers that are also lighter. He told me the newer machine creates longer lasting waves for a little bit more. I opted for the newer machine!
Total for a cut and digital perm with the new machine was $ 215.
Exactly 3 weeks later…
— my hair is definitely more wavy than curly, and it’s less wavy than when I first got the perm
— some strands of hair in the back near the nape of my neck are just straight… I noticed this the day after my perm, too. So maybe those strands weren’t in the rollers properly?
— after having straight hair for all my life, I’m loving this tousled look!

I have been coming to Eugene Hair Trend for years! Eugene and Jessie are both amazing! You can’t go wrong either way! They are very good at listening to what you want for your hair. They are reasonably priced, friendly, and personal. You won’t be disappointed — they work hard and are very good at what they do and it shows!

Jesse is awesome! I had been driving around to different salons, but was pretty unhappy with the results. My girlfriend made an appointment for me here since she routinely goes here. Jesse did a great job. She takes her time and is very meticulous. She’s the only one that cuts my hair now!

I got a haircut today and I did not know that they had raised their price from $ 45 to $ 50 for a women’s haircut until I was paying…
I loved this place before, but I’m not sure now if I can come back as much as I’m on more of a budget these days. Although it is one of the best places I’ve gotten haircuts at in terms of the hairstylist’s technical skill, I feel the service is meh. He seems rushed and does not give much of a consultation when I try to tell him what type of haircut I want. He just asks me to show him a picture, and when I ask him what he thinks would look good, he doesn’t give me any advice, he just asks me how short I want it then says «are you sure? make sure that’s how short you want it, because I won’t be able to change it because I have a customer afterwards». I understand why he’d want me to be sure of the length though, because I sound indecisive at times, and he does follow exactly what you say when you tell him to cut it to a certain length.
I admit, the last two times when I showed him a picture, the cut did come out great and like how I wanted it, but I would appreciate it if he was more caring and less rushed during the consultation and gave me advice on choosing a haircut that would be fitting for my face shape when I’m not sure what exactly I want.

Eugene does a great job with cutting short structured hair. (Bobs, A-​lines, etc.) I get compliments almost every day on my hair and people are always asking who cuts it.

I don’t always write reviews, but when I do I prefer Dos X… wait… :D
In years past, I did not typically care all too much about my «look», and then one day Eugene styled my hair. Done. I can understand now the refreshing energy of a haircut. Let alone a haircut by a Highly Skilled Artist.
I truly appreciate the Artistry that Eugene and Jessie have.
Today I walked in tired from the wear and tear of the week. Sat down, fell asleep, woke up. Went through the standard procedure (prewash, haircut, wash, final touches, etc.) fell asleep again. When I woke up, Eugene had once again performed magic. I stumbled my way to the back room for a change of clothes. Looked in the mirror and saw «me», but not the tired“me” that walked in for an appointment. No. I LITERALLY received a boost of energy after seeing the haircut.
I always wanted to have long hair. But, you know, there’s that stigma that can be associated with it, you know. A dude with long hair and stuff…
Anyway
I am super happy with the haircut. It’s long, clean, professional yet with that rock and roll attitude that I just ooze: D AND, the best part is that my mother-​in-​law is also a devout Eugene client and since HE is the expert and author of my long hair stylings, SHE CAN’T SAY ANYTHING BUT SMILE: D

I’ve been going to Eugene since my high school/​college days! After all these years I always find myself gravitating back to him, knowing that I can’t go wrong here :)
A few months ago I wanted to donate 10 – 12 inches of hair to Locks of Love, naturally I was a bit nervous cutting my hair short since I rocked super long hair for so long. Eugene did a fantastic job, and now that my hair is long again I plan on going back for another cut.
Eugene and his adorable wife Jessie own a very clean, bright and airy salon. They really listen to what you want, and he doesn’t take off more than what you specify (which happens A LOT with other salons). The price is also very reasonable and they style it really well after it’s cut, I highly recommend them! :)

Still my fave hair salon and stylist. Hands down. Jessie is one talented stylist and a down to earth person as well. She is so accommodating and so nice. You can tell she genuinely cares about you and what YOU like.
Just got done with a natural ombré with her and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve done ombré before at a different salon (a super professional salon mind you.) and I had to dye it back a few months later cause I looked like Tony the Tiger.
I showed jessie a few pictures and briefly described what I wanted and what I wanted to avoid. 3 hours later… my hair is summer ready and I’m so happy. She’s not expensive either. color is $ 95 each time for a simple color. The ombré this time was double. so $ 190. That’s still significantly cheaper than what I paid for last time. She even gave me a little bottle of leave in treatment for me to use at home.
I can’t emphasize enough how happy I am with her. I’ve been through my fair share of stylists. The search is over!

O.M.G! I decided to try this place out today because my hair dresser was unavailable and I absolutely love my haircut by Jessie!
I can’t believe as a Hacienda Hts. native I had not come here earlier. My first impression upon entering the salon was that it’s very clean and well managed. All 3 stylists had customers they were working on but I did not have to wait long before being attended to. I had an appointment at 4:45 and was seated to get my hair shampoo’d by 4:50.
As for my actual hair cut, Jessie did a great job. She asked me the texture I wanted and proceeded to straighten my hair before cutting. My normal hair dresser would normally cut my hair dry but Jessie took it to a whole new level! Jessie moved quickly but meticulously. When she was done, she even curled my hair for me. I really enjoyed my experience here and cannot stop touching my hair :) it looks like I have found a new hair salon for me to frequent. I will let them do a digital perm on me next to see how they do.

I took my mom here for a wavy perm after reading several great reviews on this place’s digital perm. However my moms just turned out mediocre. There wasnt a visibly significant enhancement to the volume of her hair and worse, the waves in her hair came out after 2 months! Dont perms usually last at least 6? I wont be taking my mom hair for a perm next time!
When it comes to haircuts, i was very pleased! I had Jesse, who was very sweet. She cut my hair just the way I liked it :)! I would recommend Jesse for a haircut.

I got Jessie and she was really sweet. The salon itself is really clean which I appreciate. My hair was a hot mess and Jessie took her time with me. I didn’t feel rushed at all. She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted specifically so I felt like I was in good hands. She did exactly what I asked for and did not cut off more than I wanted. It is a bit pricey for a haircut but it’s really hard to find hairdressers that I trust, so I am willing to pay more to be sure that I will get the haircut that I wanted. She was also really helpful in giving me tips on how to take care of my hair and didn’t push any products onto me. I will be back again.
