My Hair Salon

I love this hair salon: D ! I came here with my boyfriend because he needs a haircut. The place is really clean everyone is really friendly. They all speak mandarin and I like how they engage in a friendly conversation with you so you will feel comfortable. When you ask them about ways to take care of your hair they always answer with passion. Overall this place is really great, I would consider this as my go to place for haircuts from now on.

This hair salon is my favorite! Every time I come here, I always come out completely satisfied.
Parking: This hair salon has plenty of parking since its in a plaza and i always find a parking spot without a problem.
Location: This salon is located near a bakery, boba shop, and restaurants which makes it extra convenient after or before getting your hair done.
Everyone in there is friendly and speaks cantonese, mandarin, and english.
I would highly recommend anyone this hair salon.

Honestly really love this place.
I came here for my first dye and had no idea what to do; Alan helped me through losing my hair virginity!
He wouldn’t let me dye my hair a lighter color since he claimed it’d completely ruin the texture just jumping straight from black to a sort of ash blond, so instead, he gave me the lightest color my hair would look good in and undamaged.
Safe to say, I loved it and keep coming back for touch ups in the same shade.
Alan really knows what he’s doing, and isn’t afraid to suggest something less pricey if he knows it will fit you better. Absolutely love it and would come back again and again!

Will not come here again. For men’s haircuts, I highly suggest going somewhere else.
Prior to my review, this business had a 5-​star average. Having a 5-​star average is PRIVILEGE a business has to EARN through exceptional quality and consistency. Customer satisfaction should NOT be a crapshoot if they are truly a 5-​star business.
Note: This haircut was NOT performed by Alan, but some other Asian woman who appeared to be in her late 30s to early 40s. Avoid her.
Haircut is terrible and not even close to what I asked for. I even showed a picture of the hairstyle (i.e. fauxhawk) and specified the sides to be cut to a 3. The result was basically a flat-​top with poor transition in length between the tops and sides. There’s random patch of hair on the left side that’s 2−3″ long while the rest of my hair is 0.5−1.0″ long. Seriously, wtf?
Honestly, in this day and age, a fauxhawk is a pretty common hairstyle that should be in all hairstylists’ repertoire with good execution. I could’ve gotten a haircut of this (poor) quality for a much cheaper price at other nearby barbershops.
Only positive: $ 14 did include a shampoo, rinse, and styling with wax.

Alan does a great job when cutting hair & dyeing as well! I wanted to go short and he cut it to exactly what I wanted. I have always had long hair all my life and he didn’t disappoint me! Both my mom and I go to him and he does an awesome job! If you need a haircut or a color change go to Alan. He doesn’t lie either, he wouldnt let me dye hair really light because someone else dyed it black and he knew it would come out bad and really damage my hair. It is a small asian hair shop but he can really help you get what you want in a hairstyle!

I’ve been coming here to get my hair color done for the past year now :) I love how great he is with coloring and high lights. I’ve done a whole hair of blonde high lights, touch ups, darken it for fall and go blonde again! You can really trust him with your hair. He also great with hair cuts, it’s cut b cut for layering, unlike the shaving kind. Call ahead for coloring tho!

Alan is an amazing stylist! I’ve come to him for hair cut and coloring for 10+ years already, even after I moved away from SoCal, I always make sure to time my hair cut with visit to my family so I can get a hair cut from him. Alan is always very courteous, incredibly sweet, and gives great recommendations so that the finished style really suits you. So happy for him that he now owns his own salon, I look forward to coming back!

I didn’t like going to hair salons. So I’ve been cutting my own hair for a while and finally decided to try getting my hair done at a hair salon. (I obviously cut my hair real bad, until recently people finally told me whoever cut my hair sucked. Funny how people tell you a different opinion when you don’t tell them you did it yourself.) It’s probably been two years since I’ve been to one.
This salon has a really nice atmosphere. Feels clean and the stylist are very friendly. (I’m considered pretty germaphobic BTW. I can’t even sit in a clean looking movie theater/someone’s sofa for one minute without feeling the need to take a shower when I get home.)
I got my hair straight permed (takes about 3 hours) and a trim. Was very happy with everything. Will come again! :)
