I loved this hotel. It was very quiet and very clean! The breakfast was good too. My complaint is about the«hilton HHonors» program. I signed up for the program and contacted them via telephone. The first two calls went to people I had trouble understanding due to their accents. I believe Hampton and Hilton has outsourced their communications to a foreign country. The third time I was transferred to someone that could speak fairly good English. However, after three calls my problem is still not resolved and I need to call back again to resolve the issue. The telephone experience was so aggravating I might never stay at the hotel again.

Hampton Inn is very consistent in their product and service. The rooms are clean. I really like them for check in… as I am diamond, I m asked a couple of questions and given my key. I wish Hilton Garden would adopt this approach.

Friendly & efficient staff & the consistent quality & service you can expect from a stay at a Hampton Inn. I don’t know for sure, but I would expect that this is not a newer hotel(the bathroom in my room did not include a tub but a standing shower, or the type you might find in a gym locker room). Beyond that, there was a fridge, the room was clean, quiet & the free hot breakfast was ready to go at 6:00 a.m., which was great, as I needed an early start the next morning. I am not in Columbus often, but I’ll certainly make a note of this hotel for the future.

Overall, the hotel is clean, and in a safe neighborhood, close to shopping and not too far from downtown. The breakfast is decent and the wifi is free and works. The indoor pool and hot tub is nice, and the fitness center is up to date. The hotel has recently been renovated, and the facilities are great for the price. However, being a frequent Hampton customer, this locations service was not up to par. We checked in on a Saturday and checked out on a Tuesday. The front desk was very friendly and competent when we checked in, however on Sunday we received no housekeeping and had to request towels from the front desk when we returned to the room at 9 p.m. The next day I had to call to remind housekeeping to take care of our room, they finally got around to it about 4 p.m. During the day on Monday the water bottle in the fitness room went dry, and we notified the front desk. It was never replaced during our stay. The coffee often went dry and stayed that way for a couple of hours in the lobby, and a few times the front desk was rather vacant. In the future, I would definitely stay here again, the facilities and location are nice, but I certainly hope their service improves, otherwise I might look into one of the other hotel locations nearby.

Had Made Resverations via the Hotel over the Phone, Arrived to Check in and Went to pay cash and was told I had to use a Credit Card, I did not have one so offered to pay extra cash, The Clerk told me he would get The Hotel Manager who was THERUDESTPERSONEVER. Needless to Say I took my Business to another Hotel.

Great service from the front desk. Check in was quick, the room was ready, and we were done. The facility is either new or recently renovated. Not only are the fixtures and furnishings up to date, they are clean. A welcome break after a dusty road trip! This is a great example of a Hampton Inn.

As of March, 2014, this place has been freshly redone. It’s nice. All the furnishings in my room are modern and fresh. The bed feels good, the walls are spotless, and the bathroom has a granite counter, cool flooring, and a shower head that is above my head(which is not always the case). Finally, Hampton has address my one, petty gripe: THEREAREELECTRICALOUTLETSONTHENIGHTSTANDTOCHARGEMYPHONE!!! After years of sliding out the night stand, unplugging the stupid, giant clock radio, and skinning my knuckles trying to plug in my iPhone, this location has a cool lamp with TWO open plugs on its base. Thank you, Hampton Inn.(I take credit for this, by the way, because of all my constructive feedback over the years.) My rate was very competitive, making this a very good value.

Let me preface this by saying I’ve never stayed at another Hampton Inn, so I don’t know if this is par for the course, or just this location. In a word: Yuck. You could tell this place had been jus barely renovated so it wouldn’t look like an old motel. A few new things here and there — new linens and toiletries, a new TV, and possibly new carpet as well as some basic upgrades in the lobby. Other furnishings in the room were old and outdated. I stayed with a group and all of our rooms were humid and«clammy». The carpet seemed perpetually damp which is a pretty uncomfortable feeling when you’re walking barefoot. The A/C system switched on and off very loudly making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep, and the water in the shower had only one setting — skin-burning hot. When we checked in, the front-desk rep forgot to give one person in our party keys, and seemed pretty clueless about everything. So needless to say, I will not be going back there.
