Day 3 — Boston to LA with 2 cats We really enjoyed our night here. Especially after the toxic yurt episode… In addition to the already enumerated charms let me add my own: 1. Thank you for the late check out. That extra hour enabled us to enjoy the hot tub & pool. Nice to stretch out the kinks. Not Olympic sized or stylish but it works. 2. The small details in the bathroom make a difference. That hotel style bar, lots of towels and that little hole in the granite soap dish really do effect the while picture. 3. Wish we’d used the laundry. We didn’t realize every hotel had their own amenities and not all LQ’s have laundry. 4. Very comfy, larger breakfast area. 5. Fridge had actual freezer– again, not standard. 6. Bed was good.(bit of a dip on one side but with a king, room to get out of it. The cats got that side.) La Quinta, I’m a fan.

Me and my youth group stayed at this hotel for a conference. Multiple rooms had bed bugs. DONOTSTAYHERE. YOULLREGRETIT. I’d rather be at the red roof inn tbh. On top of that, the AC sucks, and I was sweating profusely… ITWASFEBRUARY. Like 20 degrees outside and still hot as can be in the room. BYFARONEOFTHEWORSTHOTELEXPERIENCESIVEEVERHAD.

What a wonderful stay! Thank you LaQuinta for such wonderful hospitality. I was in town to take my State Boards just last week(1÷8÷15) and drove in during the awful snow and artic temperatures. The staff was so very kind and accommodating. They even gave me an extended check out so I did not have to rush around to check out prior to testing. The room was impeccable. The bed was one of the best hotel sleeps I have ever had and I travel a great deal. I love the fact that it is a pet friendly hotel. Although we left our kids at home it was nice to know that in the future our four legged babies can come, too. I will certainly be staying at La Quintas more now, especially this one when I come back to Columbus. Again, thanks La Quinta, you won a huge new fan!

I was very impressed by the size and quality of the rooms, the free breakfast had a large offering, and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

La Quinta in Grove City saved us from a hot, dark, irritable existence during the Great Ohio Power Outage of July 2012. We suffered through a few nights in our dark, 90-degree-plus house and then threw in the towel. We called Kayak to find a pet-friendly hotel with power in Columbus, and they hooked us up with La Quinta Grove City. We didn’t have high hopes due to reviews online, but La Quinta delivered far more than expected: great AC, free wireless in the room, pet friendly but still immaculately clean throughout, nice indoor pool, and close(walking distance) proximity to restaurants and shopping. Oh, and better than usual hotel breakfast including the ever popular DIY waffle maker. Can’t beat that for the price. We had no complaints and will be forever grateful for this cool, comfortable little getaway in the midst of our annoying power outage!

You basically get what you pay for and this hotel does what it’s supposed to do. I have no complaints because it was exceptionally clean and that’s all I wanted. The breakfast left something to be desired, but they had oatmeal which is also good enough for me. The wireless internet connection was also pretty solid.

Average hotel as hotels go. We typically need a 2 bedroom units with a sleeper sofa. Room was clean enough but unfortunately the room AC was not 100%. It would cycle on sometimes but not enough to cool the room much, and left it rather humid. Mentioned it to the front desk but they didnt have any other rooms available, stuck it out. 15 dollar discount the next day when I checked out mentioning it again. Wifely grumbled a bit about the bathroom lighting. Not the quietest of places, could here doors slamming and people above. Nothing crazy though, I’ve heard worse. Kids had fun in the pool and said it was pretty warm. Towels are gotten from the front desk so snag those before you go in. Breakfast was okay, glad they had the waffle machine. Cereal, juice, coffee, bagels and hard boiled eggs. Stuff like that. Nice location with plenty of shopping and food near by.

The hotel is pretty average. The room was clean and the tv had cable. Wireless worked. The free breakfast included muffins, frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits sitting on top of a microwave, and a waffle maker that wouldn’t stop beeping. My only complaints are that the toilet was pretty weak and I couldn’t get any hot water out of the shower in the evening. Note: This hotel district has the greatest eatery options ever(Dairy Queen, Steak n Shake, Waffle House, Bob Evans, and a Fazoli’s further down the street)
