Run! Don’t walk to grab their «lent» season specials. I have had the shrimp Caesar salad twice this week– it has grilled shrimp and croutons on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes and parmesan tossed in a lemon Caesar dressing and served with a giant lemon slice: I recommend you had jalapenos from their pickle bar to the mix if you like a little kick. I am sad this is only seasonal but am on my way to enjoying it while it lasts :) and don’t forget your unsweet iced tea and a Heath cookie for dessert (cookies as big as your face)

My family and I discovered this place and fell in love with the food, but can’t say the same for the staff. The food is good, the setting is nice, however, not sure about the staff. My daughter was ordering her food and needed to know the carb count and the order taker questioned me that my daughter «is too young to be counting carbs and drinking diet soda to watch her weight.» I had to correct her quickly, it was non of her business, but if she must know why she was asking, it has nothing to do with watching her weight (she’s 13 & 110lbs), but everything to do with her sugars. My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes. Her assumption did irritated me. Nor did she apologize.

McAllister’s has the best salads IMO, and they’re huge! Usually hard to find a parking spot on the weekends, and I tend to be extra cautious in the parking lot. It’s a little tight. I always feel like I’m going to wreck into someone or someone into me going around the corners.

One of my favorite deli sub shops. Bit expensive but the food tastes great, and the employees are usually friendly, and keep the place flowing well.
I like to request a 12 inch white bread sub bun, instead of the normal sandwich bread, for my turkey and beef sub. The sweet tea is made very well here too. Mac n cheese is great too. Portion sizes are average as expected.

This place is always busy. And for good reason. The food is always delicious, the staff go above and beyond to accommodate, and it is clean. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and I’ve enjoyed almost everything. If you’re a fan of a good deli sandwich this is a great stop. Go!

I guess this is based, once again, on my personal taste. It is a great lunch spot though! I tried their sweet tea, which they are heavily known for. It was a touch too sweet. They have great business that’s prompt on a Saturday afternoon. I will go here again, but a lot of things I’ve tried are once-and-done usual options (sandwiches). I’m not into «Spuds» at all. I will go here if it’s based on convenience in between meeting a client and feeling hungry. I’m sure it’s great if you live in the area, but when I already have to travel to Greenwood I would rather find Panera, New York Deli, or Buffalo Wild Wings. No offense to you…

Delicious Savannah Chopped Salad! I love the service; there are always employees walking around asking if you need refills or anything. It’s a sit-down restaurant feeling.

I started eating here about a month ago to try something different and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love the service every time I come in. Even when they are busy the staff takes the time to greet me. The lemonade is amazing and the sweet tea is good too. My favorite menu items are the cheese spud and the McAlister’s Club. Yummy!

Huge menu full of great food. I have tried most items on the menu as it is close to work and convenient for lunch. The customer service here is second to none. They are legitimately concerned that you enjoy your experience during lunch. Great place for a lunch meeting with booths and frequent refills on iced tea. This is one of the cleanest restaurants you will ever find.

It’s always hoppin’ when we eat here! Service can be slow for refills and we generally go get our own, but the staff constantly has a smile, so it’s hard to be picky. I was sad when they changed their menu a few years ago and I generally order the same thing, but I can’t think of a reason to not go back.

Although I try to shy away from chain restaurants, this is one of the better options in Greenwood. Service is very good, staff frequently goes around the tables following up asking if you need refills or any additional items. Seating is always available.
There are some nice vegetarian options for lunch, including a delicious veggie taco salad! They use their veggie chili with chips, jalapeño, avocado, lettuce, and more!
