We’ve wanted to give this local pizza place a try. They never appear busy when we drive by going from Kroger to Meijer or on our way to Chicfila. We are one and done. Our visit this evening was our first and our very last. 8 pm on a Saturday night and the place was dead. The smell in the air was filled with bleach mop water, not so appetizing. The pizza, I’ve had better frozen pizzas. The bread sticks are huge and look good but aren’t very flavorful. We had a darling waitress who was attentive. Was weird to watch the owners have an employee talk that didn’t appear to be going well right in front of us. I can see why this place is empty at what should be a busy time. Not impressed with anything but the sweet waitress that should go someplace else to work. Never ever going back here. Too many other options than to waste my time and money at this hole in the wall.

My first visit to Zoey’s Pizzeria wowed me. It is located in a strip center behind the McDonalds on state road 135 and is not easily seen from the main road. Zoeys is open for lunch and dinner. It reminded me of a cafeteria, only in the style of another local pizzeria, Brozinnis. You walk up and order your food, have a seat, and they bring it out to you, and depending what you order(we ordered breadsticks, a slice of meat lovers pizza, lasagna, and fettuccine Alfredo), it’s fresh from the kitchen. The breadsticks($ 4.25 for 4) were nicely browned and yeasty, and were practically a giant loaf of bread — at least 12 inches long and 4 inches circumference. We loved the nacho cheese sauce that accompanied them, but you can also order marinara. The lasagna($ 11.99) is enormous, is made with Italian sausage, Parmesan, ricotta, basil, mozzarella, beef, and pasta sauce. It was about a 6×3 slice(enough for two). Sophie really liked this lasagna and thought it was better than most she’s had. It was made fresh to order and came out very hot. Lily had the fettuccine Alfredo($ 8.99). They were out of sauce so they made it fresh to order. It had a nice buttery cream texture with just enough Parmesan to give it a salty smoked flavor. It, too, was large enough to share, and came with a giant breadstick. The meat lovers pizza was full of meat. It consisted of pepperoni, sausage, and ham. It had a nice creamy texture to it from the twice melted cheese. The crust was about the same texture as the breadsticks and about a quarter inch thick. The pepperoni was thick sliced, about an eighth of an inch. It was pre-made and just awaiting your arrival. Overall, we loved our visit to Zoey’s pizzeria and are sure to return again. Just a note, they now deliver, so this local family-owned pizzeria, opened almost 2 years now, is a wonderful addition to Southside eateries.

We had the pizza and bread knots. The pizza was OK. I would grade it above average. The ingredients were fresh tasting. The crust was passable too. The large pizzas are very large — the largest available,(18″+)? which is always a cool option when ordering pizza. The dipping sauce for the bread knots wasn’t ‘real’. They only offered the pre made/pre-packaged margarine like garlic dip and/or sauce. I eat very little processed/fake foods, so I passed on that. We had it delivered to another location so we didn’t experience the friendly staff that many people mentioned in other reviews about the place. I would consider going again, but with a few other decent pizza places around me, and them also located closer to where I live, it might be awhile. Update: We decided to give them another try and ordered an extra large pizza — to be delivered. All I can say is — WOW — as far as the sheer size of it. I believe it is at least 22″. I seriously think it might have been the largest pizza I have ever seen in person. It wasn’t that hot when we received it, but for the most part, once again it tasted passable overall. It had a fair amount of toppings on it,(they didn’t skimp like many pizza places do), and I would also highly suggest to them that when they cut their pizzas in the future, to please ask how the customer wants it cut. As far as the massive pizza 22″ goes, cutting it in smaller servings and/or palm sized squares would be the way to go. They cut it into approx 8 slices, and they were insanely waaaaay to big.

Meh. Not great food. The staff is always friendly though. We have given this place 2 or 3 times trying different items, but we just aren’t into it. We will stick to the other pizza joints in the area.

Not great. All pizzas on counter were over baked and burnt. Too many pizza place around to deal with that. Won’t go again.

The food is wonderful, but the staff is even better. I am from the south, and I haven’t experienced such wonderful hospitality since we left until we chose to eat at Zoey’s. My boys loved making their own pizza. Definitely order the Twisters. You won’t regret it!

Excellent food and great atmosphere and staff! Their pizza is made with all organic foods they even grow they’re own tomatoes to make the sauce which is amazing. The pepperoni is fantastic and even better when stuffed in a breadstick!!! There’s no other way to put it. Zoey’s is GREAT.

The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. A good alternative to Brozinni’s when we don’t want to drive that far. However I would recommend not getting the wings because the past two times we’ve been there the only problem was the wings and they don’t seem to be able to handle a packed house very well because they run out quickly of things and you have to wait until you’re virtually ready to leave before said order comes out.

Best pizza in Greenwood. Make your own pizza is fun for the kids and every server has been super nice. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. This is the only pizza that I eat all of the crust. hand tossed, well seasoned, and well cooked. All are needed for a yummy crust. They also have calzones and pasta dishes but we have like the pizza so much it is hard to skip pizza for something else. the breadsticks are huge and night the cheese and pizza dipping sauce are great. Definitely a place for casual dining and bringing the kids. Décor is nothing spectacular with a few TVS with sports playing.

I was looking to try something new and wanted a local twist. I stopped in and ordered pizza for the kids with some twisters. The pizza isn’t bad. We ordered a 20 inch just and had plenty for everyone. I was not impressed with the twisters. The kids didn’t seem to favor them either. They have other menu items and look like they have several pasta dishes. I think the next time we will have to try the other dishes as they looked really good from afar. Overall, not a bad place to come and get your italian on.

What a gem! A great selection of pizza, salads, pasta, calzones, wraps and subs. I like that they use fresh ingredients and that it is locally owned and operated. I had a veggie wrap that was tasty and fresh. Each of our 21 dining companions had great things to say about their food. The service, provided mainly by Erin, was fantastic. We will return.

Great New York style pizza in Center Grove. Clean, good menu, great staff. The kids love to go «to the kitchen» to make their own pizza. My wife had the wings, said they are delicious. Try the twisters appetizer. Would be five stars if they had a decent beer selection. Customers can basically choose between Bud or Miller.

I’ve been wanting to try Zoey’s for awhile now. I’ve seen a couple write-ups/recommendations in the Centergrove Icon. The most recent, got me there. I got my order«to go». I ordered a 16in pepperoni and peperoncini. I think they actually mean banana pepper because that is what was on the pizza. I’m not a pepper connoisseur, but do know that a peperoncini packs a bigger punch and that’s really what I was looking for. Minor nit. I also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the garlic twisters. The staff was friendly. There were not very busy(only a couple tables). Two different people came in looking for pizza by the slice. The sign said it was only served until 4pm. Just fyi. All the pizzas are 6 slices. The slices just get bigger with the larger pies. My order was complete within 15 minutes and I was on my way. I thought the pizza was pretty good, but a little greasy. It was not as crispy on the bottom as I’d like, but I will say when he sliced it, I heard crispy. If I had eaten it at the restaurant, I’m certain I would have been happier with the texture. Now, I really really liked the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were super moist and flavorful. The sauce had a touch of sweet. I would definitely order that again. Probably over pizza. I thought the garlic twisters were okay. I’m kind of over them to be honest. When you get them to go, the butter garlic sauce is on the side. There is just something missing when your bread is not swimming in the stuff. I am not sure if that is how they serve them when you eat in? I’m taking my que from the way Brozinni’s serves them. I also thought they were a little oversized. They were like large croissants. Bits and bites would be better. Too much bread. Just a personal preference. Overall, I’d go again for the pasta. I’d like to try the lasagna to. For pizza, I will probably stick with Brozzini’s. They do the best southside NY style pizza.(hands down)

Great pizza, lots to choose from, too. Pizza by the slice was ginormous. Only complaint was the cost. One slice and a drink, almost $ 6 for lunch, just a bit too much.

My family and I went here lastnight for dinner and it was very busy, no open table in sight! The pizza here is very good but if you’re hungry make sure to get the 16″ or bigger, the 12″ is just a tad small. The staff is very friendly just a little slow at getting things done, need to be more alert at what’s going on. When we got there lastnight we saw two tables to put together for just the four of us in an area where in my opinion they could put more tables, it’s just an empty space not being used?! This was our second visit here and we enjoyed it as much as the first time, great pizza I highly recommend it to everyone!

Pizza in a strip mall… why not? How have I not stopped here before? How can I not make this a weekly habit??? Fresh ingredients. High quality. Amazing staff. Relaxed atmosphere. I can’t rave enough about all the thought and work that went into making a pizza for Hubs and me. We were given a plate of garlic twists as first-timers and OMG, I’ve never wanted to roll around in a dish like I did right then and there. Light and super tasty breadsticks + the most amazing garlic butter I’ve ever tasted. Fortunately the waitress suggested we keep the leftover butter for our pizza crusts — THAT is a best practice! I can’t wait to bring the kiddos with us next time so they can experience the(kids only, sorry!) ‘Make Your Own Pizza’ station. Stop reading. Go. Eat pizza.

Ordered for the first time for our traditional Sunday night pizza. For once, everyone agreed… the pizza was spectacular! Not too spicy, great toppings(we had a supreme and a cheese pizza) we also had the Zoey’s version of breadsticks– twisters. Twisters are amazing. The buttery sauce is seriously yum. We will be back!

We stopped in when our favorite pizza joint was packed beyond belief, and we were NOT sorry! Staff was friendly and helpful, the owner was talkative and welcoming. We had the garlic bread twisters and were immediately hooked. One bite and we knew that if the pizza was anywhere near as good as those little breadsticks, we would be in for a treat. We’d ordered the grilled chicken pizza, and the owner Paul recommended spicy wing sauces for dipping. He certainly knew what he was talking about! Looking forward to taking my daughter there for lunch, as they offer a «make your own pizza» experience for kids. Can’t wait to try more of what Zoey’s has to offer!

Very nice and attentive staff. The garlic bread called twisters were awesome with lots of garlic butter and Parmesan cheese! Another great bread option is the stuffed breadsticks with ur choice of filling with pepperoni, sausage or cheese. These breadsticks are so big it’s crazy. They come in a group of 4 I believe for 7 dollars and they r like having 4 calzones are so large. My son ordered the regular baked ziti and it was also very good and a huge portion which came with a breadstick. Last we ordered the large pizza. We had all that plus the boys had soft drinks with the bill 43. dollars very cheap. We had a ton of left overs. Personally had they called it GodZilla Zoeys I would have ordered less!!! Will post my pics as well.
