The food is pretty good. Fresher than most quick eateries. The problem here is the service. There is only one drink machine and it’s one of those newer models with all of the options coming from one spigot. There was always a long line for the drinks. The people who bring your food to the table and remove dirty dishes were clearly not trained in dealing with the public. I’ll go back because of the healthier options.

Drove by here a few times and I decided to kidnap my sister and baby brother to go with me for lunch. It was several patrons seated, spacious and very clean. The cashier was friendly, but when I asked for a detailed menu, she just pointed to the menu behind her up on the wall. That menu only showed pictures and the name, not what was in it. I asked for one because I’m allergic to coconut and hate onions. We were able to choose our seating and the cashier also served us our food. There is a(one) coke machine with various coke products and flavors, but I opted for tea. Standing in line for a drink would have been a pain if I drank soda. I got the penne Rosa(yum!) and thai curry soup(didn’t like, too sweet for me), my sister ordered the steak stroganoff(yum!), and pad Thai for my brother. We also shared an order of Korean meatballs, which were very, very good. My brother’s only issue, which wasn’t really an issue, was that it felt like they literally took it off the stove and put it in front of it. It was hot. I wouldn’t even be the slightest upset over freshly cooked food, but whatever… The only other complaint, outside the one drink machine for such a large space, is that the detailed menu is posted on the wall on the OPPOSITE side of the entrance. So you’d have to go through the entire restaurant and lines to see what comes in every dish. I wish I had seen that before ordering my food, but saw it after I had sat down…

This was my go to lunch spot back home so when they opened in Greensboro I was pretty excited. I finally made my way down this weekend. I knew what to expect and I went to order my favorite noodle dish. The man taking our order didn’t speak clearly enough– like I said I’ve been to a noodles location but for somebody new I would of been lost in what he was asking. It took 30 minutes and is flagging down 2 workers to get our potstickers. My vegetarian dish also had loose pieces of shrimp. Staff was accommodating but the experience turned me off. Won’t visit this location again.

Pretty good pad Thai. The noodles are moist and important. And they have a Coke machine that you can select various flavors.

I expected more(size) for the price. I opted for the Thai Hot Pot and a side of Pot Stickers($ 13.50). the Pot Stickers were very tasty and would be the reason for another visit. The entrée had all the right ingredients, but the noodles were small in portion and under cooked and the proteins(chicken and shreds of pork) were also on the skimpy side in portioning. The high speed beverage vending machine may cool and possibly cost effective. but I don’t like to wait in a additional line to get water while others try to figure out if they should mix cherry, lime, or vanilla into there diet Coke :( I also have to admit that I expected more Asian style and soup based options on the menu.

Delicious chicken noodle soup and the Caesar salad is pretty good too. The employees are friendly and get the food out quickly. I recently had the stroganoff with meatballs delivered, which was good, but needed a lot more sauce. My husband enjoyed the mac n’ cheese though. The seating is open and there is a cool Coke machine where you can add funky fruit flavors to your drink. Enjoy!

Nice, clean place. Orderd to-go a couple of times. Food is well made and quick as well. Had been to their outlet in Chapel Hill. Looked like the same menu and the same efficiency in food preparation. Coming to the food, never had a bad experience. Had the Indonesian peanut noodles once and liked it. I found the regular size to be too big and will be sticking to small now onwards. Good location, great parking, friendly staff. Cheaper vegetable options(to add to your bowl of noodles) would have got the place 5 on 5.

First, let me say I stopped after driving all day between 2 airports for family to eat dinner solo and also get out of the car. I am beyond happy that I did! I wasn’t wanting fast food but I wanted to eat fast. I was greeted immediately by the friendliest staff I’ve experienced at a restaurant in a while. Seriously. The person that was at the front cash register not only had this great, welcoming and bubbly personality, but she made me feel like I’d known her forever. I ordered the Wisconsin macaroni and cheese and she immediately joked I HAD to have some protein so I wouldn’t go hungry too soon! Ha! So I asked what she suggested I add, and she said the chicken Parmesan without hesitation, so I did! I sat down and in less than 5 minutes, I had this gigantic and delicious bowl of fresh macaroni and cheese with extra shredded cheese on top and chicken Parmesan on top! It was like a magical meeting of flavors and textures in my mouth. I loved the crispy chicken and that they cut it for me so it was easy to eat. The macaroni was perfectly cooked with this rich, creamy cheese sauce and shredded cheese as well. She checked on me several times to make sure I was ok. When I was about to go, she not only brought me a plastic to go box so I could easily reheat leftovers, but brought me some more chicken to add since I ate all the chicken first! I was blown away by how helpful and just generous she was and the kitchen staff as well! I can’t wait to return with friends and family to try a different bowl soon!

There are few aspects that I’m impressed by and few not at all . We got the Regular Bangkok curry noodles with Parm crusted chicken & Margherita flat bread for dine in . It wasnt busy at all during the dinner time, it took around 15 – 20 mins for our order to be served which I dont mind if I have a company. Portions of the noodle bowls are kinda big for a regular size, I wouldnt be able to complete the entire thing on my own, so we shared . The lady who took our order was extremely friendly, and she gave extra bowls and silverware even before we requested . Margherita flat bread was sloppy and nothing to talk about . And I am not used to having under cooked noodles in asian dishes, our noodles was very undercooked and choky, though I love the sauce, toppings and the salad in the dish. They send me coupons every now and then in mail, so there is definitely a chance that I go back and try something else on their menu.

I was really, really impressed by Noodles & Company. I had heard great things about it, so I had high expectations. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. There was a good noodle to sauce ratio. The meatballs tasted good too. I split a huge rice krispy treat at the end. I will definitely be back here soon!

For a place named Noodles and Company, we have found their noodles to be the weakest part of the menu. Have eaten here four times now and three times had under cooked noodles. Seriously, the first time my Daughter was crunching the macaroni noodles. I told her to stop eating it for fear she would break teeth. She complained later her teeth hurt. Our other two dishes were under cooked as well so we didn’t finish. After filling out the survey, they gave us free meals to try them again. This was better. Third time was under cooked again. Last time we tried, my Husband wanted to go since he had not eaten there yet. Loved the flavor, but complained about noodles. Maybe it is just this location that doesn’t cook them long enough.

An interesting concept in fast-casual dining. The small/large entrees are mostly centered on noodles, as the restaurant name suggests, but you may either replace the noodles with veggies or bulk up the dishes with extra protein(meats or tofu). Among the vegetarian entrees I’ve tried, the Japanese udon seemed to be better than the Indonesian spicy peanut noodles, but both were better than the Pad Thai. If you want authentic Asian or Italian cuisine, this is no substitute, but you will be unlikely to find a traditional restaurant that will get you in and out the door this quickly. Also, if you subtract the meat from an entrée, the cashier actually lowers your bill(unlike at most restaurants, including Panera, if memory serves). Free customizable refills(flavored sodas, etc.) and no obvious tip expectations also combine to make this place tough to beat in terms of convenience and overall value.

Another convenient restaurant to the apartment. I love their the Beef Stroganoff. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The menu is small but the food is pretty darn good.

This is a chain I could get down with, and it’s a noodle place as well?!! You know how I feel about chains, but yet I reluctantly went in anyway! I really liked it! The menu is a board on the wall stating the different noodle dishes available. You also have a list of add-ins ranging from extra vegetables, shrimp, chicken, steak, and even pork. Two size dishes are available from small to the regular. I tried the Bangkok Udon Noodle dish and added shrimp. It was fantastic! I got a small dishe of spaghetti and meatballs for my child and the meatballs were really tasty! We got the side of pork dumplings and were not disappointed with it either! The one complaint I did have is its a bit overpriced for the portion size and not consistent in that area either! My noodle dish after adding shrimp was roughly $ 9. The small spaghetti that my daughter got was larger in portion by a lot! I don’t think I would add any meat the next time either a the noodles are the real winner of the dishes anyway. This is a nice change from the similar Mexican restaurants that are set up the same way. This southern gentleman will certainly be back one more time in search of some more good noodle dishes!

I’m not really a fan. The place was clean enough and the layout made sense. From looking at the menu, it didn’t seem to be extensive at all. There was literally only 2 or 3 things I would ever order. We went in for dinner and they weren’t busy at all. The staff was great and honestly the biggest reason they even got 2 stars. They asked several times while we were eating if we needed anything and if everything was okay. They were personable and on top of their game. Now the food. I can say that the pasta was cooked and there was cheese. I ordered the«6 Cheese» pasta. It was literally elbow pasta and a handful of shredded cheese on top with a tiny bit of «cheese sauce» at the bottom. It was the lamest, driest, and completely uninspired mac & cheese I’ve had in a very long time. Pass.

Great concept but the execution could be improved. The Pad Thai, which is a classic Thai dish, had little flavor. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Just wish the food was as good as the service.

This is a nice switch from Panera nearby, especially because I like pasta more than sandwiches. They have 4 Italian pastas, 4 Asian pastas, and 4 American pastas. You can order a small or regular serving and add meat($ 2 – 3) and/or a side soup or salad($ 1.25). I went with the small Japanese Pan noodles and Thai curry soup. The serving of noodles was just right for me and bigger than I expected for a small. The veggies were fresh and the pasta was good, but it could have used more flavor. The Thai curry soup, on the other hand, was bursting with flavor! A light sweet coconut broth with rice noodles and vegetables, and a warm heat at the very end that left my tummy feeling content and me feeling like I needed a nap. If you add meat to your noodles, your bill is going to add up. But I just got the noodles and soup and it was $ 6.02, which I thought was reasonable. Certainly cheaper than Panera nearby. The staff was more than willing to go over the menu with me, and service was prompt. I’ll definitely go back.

Noodles & Company is in the Shoppes at Wendover off of Wendover/I40. Yes this shopping center is nuts. It took me several minutes to find a parking spot in the section of the lot close to this store. This isn’t news to anyone but it is worth mentioning if you choose to eat lunch here. The store was also crazy busy. Every table inside was taken and there were people standing and looking at the menu on the wall. An employee was by the menu/wall offering to answer questions. I think it is safe to say this chain(oh the horror… a chain!) is doing ok. This location is at least. As Fred B. mentioned, you place your order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a seat. Luckily someone had got up as soon as I got my water. There were employees running around bringing food to people and they probably earn their money as they were non stop. They are required to clean up the tables too. My food came out in about five minutes. The concept reminds me a lot of Zoës Kitchen. The similarities are there from the bowls, the silverware, the adding on of food etc(sans the actual food served). Yes, this place focuses on noodles. I got the Pesto Cavatappi(5.79 regular) and added raised pork with an upcharge of 2.79. The person taking my order said that this protein was«suggested» with the entrée. Of course they have other meats but I just went with it. This meal was filling and well sized. This was an excellent mix of pasta, basil pesto, garlic, mushrooms, tomato, parmesan and parsley. The pork was an excellent addition and this dish was actually pretty damn good. My only complaint was the amount of pork. I felt shorted here and for the price, I expected more. All in all, this dish is great and I would get this without question again. You could add a side soup or salad to an entrée for 1.25. I added the Tomato Basil Bisque. Again, a great mix and tasted great. I did think the amount given here was also short. The size of the bowl and the amount of soup given contrast. It was deceiving. But again, for taste factor, I would reorder it. My meal was good and I am glad I stopped here for lunch to try. I think the insane amount of people here speaks for itself. It gets the job done and fills you up. The«servers» were quick and friendly. I like it and if you take it for what it is, you won’t be disappointed.

Does Greensboro get the chain restaurants, or what? This newest one opened recently in the sprawling, winding confusion that is the Shoppes At Wendover. This company, which wants to be «Your World Kitchen», began in Colorado in 1995, and now has well over 400 locations. The layout is fast-food casual — you order at the counter, pay, get a number, fill your drink, and grab a seat, the food will be brought to you — our order was out in 10 minutes or so. You order is plated on real stoneware and you will use stainless steel flatware to consume it. Obviously the menu is built around noodles, with an strong international flair — ranging from Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, to Japanese Pan Noodles, to Penne Rosa, to Pad Thai, to Bangkok Curry, Spaghetti & Meatballs, to richly Buttered Egg Noodles — and even a Thai Hot Pot. Included on the menu are some soup, sandwich, and salad choices. There is a strong emphasis on high quality ingredients that are fresh and authentic. You pick a basic entrée, pick a size(small or regular), add meat or tofu, and you can add a side soup, salad, or extra veggies. Most single entrees will cost around $ 8. We tried the Japanese Pan Noodles with marinated beef, and the Thai Hot Pot. The pan noodle dish is built of caramelized udon noodles, with broccoli, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, sprouts, sesame seeds, and cilantro, is a sweet soy sauce. This was not a bad dish, and it was well sized, but the combination of the sweet soy sauce and the marinated beef became rather cloying — adding both soy and hot sauce helped. Might order this again with sauteed shrimp or tofu. The Thai Hot Pot has rice noodles, chopped cabbage, hot peppers, shiitake mushrooms, pulled chicken, pulled pork, lime wedges, sprouts, and cilantro in a «Signature» curry broth. This is a very nice dish, with a variety of flavors and textures, with some decent heat, which can, and was, augmented with hot sauce. We also added a side soup for each entrée — Thai Curry Soup and Chicken Noodle. Both were pretty good, but each was very light on the broth, and really that’s were a good soup starts and ends. The concept here is sound, the food is fresh and of good quality, and offers a variety of tastes and flavors. This is fast-casual, and the atmosphere is clean, bright, and functional, but has little uniqueness or underlying charm — it is a place to have a quick meal. The service is good, friendly and efficient, and the food is interesting.

Excellent food. Potstickers were wonderful. Bangkok Curry had just enough curry as to not be over powering. So glad they came to Greensboro.
