I purchased a very expensive couch from Case & Cushion with the promise that it would be delivered in early December. When we didn’t receive a call back by the 10th, the management at the store could not give us an explanation of WHEN it would be in or WHERE it was, but told us that no matter what it would be in a few days before Christmas, so we sold the couch I had and Case & Cushion didn’t end up delivering the couch until the first week of January. We had to sit on lawn furniture for our holiday parties. The manager was extremely disrespectful throughout the process and even raised his voice at me on the phone. All of this hassle, the rude attitudes and on top of it, and I found the exact same couch for $ 400 cheaper at the Furnitureland South when we were looking for a chair. I will never go to Case & Cushion again and I have spread the word to everyone I know. If you have ANY choice, go to Furniture Land South — more educated salespeople, more professional management, better quality and cheaper prices. ANYwhere but Case & Cushion — STAYAWAY!

The delivery guys put on foot protectors(like the salesperson promised)– only they put it on as soon as exiting the truck. It was raining, and there were dead leaves on the ground, so really, the foot protectors weren’t to protect my newly-installed hardwood floors, but their own shoes. They weren’t rude – they were just lacking in common sense and propriety. They came in without as much as a hello and handed us a customer service card, then asked us where we wanted our stuff. I’m not sure why they bothered, because they either didn’t listen or didn’t get the very simple directions, and we had to tell them to move everything over. There was some damage on one of the pieces, and one of the guys asked me to please take a photo to send it to their boss for evidence. The manager called me, not to give apologies for the inconvenience, but to say she’d send out someone«to assess the situation». She’d already received the photo irrefutably showing damage, and her delivery guys were still at my house, so her choice of words was a little insulting. It’s also not the best thing to hear when you just spent thousands of moolah on their furniture, and there’s a 25% restocking fee. The customer service card asks you to rate the men and asks questions like, «did they polish the wood or clean glass?». I don’t know if they were supposed to, but they didn’t. One of the delivery guys stood over my shoulder to watch me write the comment card, before going out to the van to call a lady friend. When everything was settled, the truck«hung out» for a little while on my driveway because they were eating sandwiches. I’m all for eating(see my reviews), but seriously? I am hoping this was a fluke, because their furniture is beautiful and they offer 12 months interest-free financing. What ruined my experience was the cold, apathetic manager and the clueless delivery guys. Sales, customer service and the repair lady were all very good.

This furniture store is a place to give strong consideration in my opinion. We have bought a sectional sofa, 2 chairs, coffee table, side table, and bedroom furniture(bed, dresser, and night stands) from here over the past 2 years. They offer financing through Wells Fargo(interest free for a year) and when you are a repeat customer they will offer discounts. When we purchased the sofa and chairs, we got to pick out the fabric. For the sofa itself, we got to choose between a few different fabric swatches. When it came to the chair and pillows that came with the couch… there was much more to choose from. That part was great. No other furniture we had been to around the Piedmont offered this. I did think their prices were a little bit higher than other stores, but considering what we got to pick out the fabric and it was high quality stuff, I didn’t think we were paying too much money. The next time my husband and I are in the market for furniture, this place will be our first stop.
