Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Ordered takeout online, although everything was correct it seemed to have been kid size portions. Not the adult dinner portion we are accustom to. The mashed potatoes had no flavor and were cold… Pasta seemed to have been left over. We will not be returning… I guess it shows to stick with local family owned businesses who care about quality.

Standard chain carrabbas. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
I had the spaghetti and meatballs, with Sicilian soup. Wasn’t too impressed with the food considering they are an Italian chain restaurant. They do have peroni, which impressed me.
Good service overall, food was out within 10 mins of ordering at the bar.

Pretty nice place. Went here for lunch today. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was pretty good. My only complaint is that the portion sizes were pretty small and do not look like the pictures on the menu.

We visited Carrabas last Sunday for a late lunch. This was my second visit, but the first time was shortly after they opened, way over ten years ago, and I was in a group of 6 or 8 women that time. This time it was just Roy and I. David was our waiter, and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly too. He brought a warm, sliced loaf of crusty bread and olive oil while we read the menu. He was patient as we asked questions and made our choices. He said the steak panini was one of his favorites, and Roy ordered that with garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered the small grilled chicken breast with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Mine came with a tossed salad also, which we shared. The house creamy parmesan salad dressing was very good. David checked with us often, filling drinks before we had to ask, and bringing a second loaf of warm bread with whipped butter this time. The ice tea tasted fresh-​made, better than most restaurant ice tea. The food was served warm, looked attractive, and tasted good. We probably won’t wait another ten years before returning to Carrabas.

This is the second time I have eaten at Carrabas, and I knew that there was a reason that I did not remember it.
The customer service is very good. Unfortunately, the food and drinks lack the same luster.
I got the lobster ravioli — BIG MISTAKE. The pasta came very dry, with no sauce at all on it. The menus stated that there is a cream sauce on this. The stuffing was borderline disgusting. The lobster was that imitation, processed meat that has no taste.
Hubby got the lasagna and chicken parmesean. His meal was ok, but the lasagna was clearly frozen. The chicken parm was ok, but in actuality — it tasted like shake-​n-​bake chicken with can sauce poured on it.
The bar drinks were weak, and did not taste like what was ordered.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to Carrabas.
