One of those places who rests on its location… where they act like it’s an inconvenience to even serve you. The hostess stand is covered with rules about this, that, and the other. The hostess is annoyed that you’re even standing there. The food is mediocre and the seafood tastes frozen.

This place was like New York hit me in the face. $ 10 cover got me some live music and bartenders with attitude. The shots come in tiny plastic cups. I didn’t have any food. Lots of good looking people here though. If you try to get a water here the bartender will just turn around and walk away. Luckily the water is close enough to the bar that I reached over and served myself. This is wharf/pier fishy long island in its purest form. They had an awesome live band that played everyone’s favorite music really loud. That makes people want to dance. The band was way better than I expected. Everyone who was visiting Greenport was here when we were here. It was an authentic late night adventure. Just let it wash over you.

I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Our server was careless and kept leaving our table unattended. They totally forgot one of our guests meals, then barely apologized when her food came out and everyone else was almost done eating. The servers were incredibly rude, there was no manager there when I asked to speak to one, and the hostesses were clueless. Definitely will not be going here again, there are so many nice places our east to eat and this is not one of them!

Ordered the $ 24 Lobster Roll. Filled at the bottom with lettuce, very little lobster for the price. Kids got clam strips and they were mostly batter and tasted frozen, along with being over cooked/fried. Still hungry from the little bit of lobster I ordered their«award winning» New England chowder. $ 8 and it came in a diner style coffee cup. So $ 32 later and I’m still hungry but can’t imagine ordering anything else from this place! Find a place not on the water to eat, but if you want beer and to look at the boats this place is great!

Service was great. Had the stuffed flounder and it tasted like dirty socks. It was horrible. Overpriced too. Stuffing was bland. Wife had shrimp fettuccini special and that was ok.

We were out & about in Greenport so how could we not come to Claudio’s?! It’s a NoFo must do! We went straight to the outside bar. The weather was gorgeous & the crowd was feeling good. The live music had folks singing & dancing and I was enjoying the whole scene while drinking my bucket of Voodoo Juice. Yes I said a bucket! LOL It was enjoyable watching the boats pull up for a meal & drinks. All types, cigarette boats, Sea Ray cabin cruisers, small, large. Just a gorgeous scene. My cousin ordered a dozen steamed clams which he loved. I got my clams on a half shell. Excellent! I enjoyed watching the guys expediently shuck dozens upon dozens of clams & oysters. Amazingly swift & precise. I do my own at home so I know how much work it is. These guys excelled at it. We mingled & met some fun people. All in all a good day. 5-28-2016

Ok, so I eat at Claudio’s outdoors in the summer a lot, mostly lunch menu … Just got home with 2 other people from dinner and to give you a quick review -*Disgusting * Had better frozen seafood. I had the Stuffed flounder with Quinoa as vegetable. The flounder first off was NOT fresh and the Don’t ask what the stuffing was because I have no idea, probably cat food…, we also had twin Lobster tails… Joke, had better from Best market. They were so salty couldn’t swallow it. And what’s up with the Horseradish Mashed potato’s? Sour taste totally disgusting !!! Save your Money go somewhere were they serve FRESH seafood and don’t rob you with there High prices .$ 132.00 for Worse than frozen food. They give it 2 dollar Signs, which isn’t correct. cheapest Entrée’ was $ 28 and you get No salad, Nothing .Don’t waster your money !!

This is not a Michelin 5 Star kinda deal you have to appreciate this place for what it is. This is a Long Island/New England fish/lobster place! When you get there they have their own parking lot. There’s not too much parking in town There’s a guy in the lot and he takes $ 20 from you to park but you get a little pink coupon to use as cash in the restaurant or get a credit off your bill. We asked for a table for two and was told it’s a half hour wait. So we gave our name and headed to the bar. Bar tenders were very friendly and we decided to eat at the bar. They had local wine from Raphael winery. Our favorite.(We spent the afternoon there). We ordered two cups of chowder. One of each. It was some of the best of both that each of us has ever had! Then we had a 1 ¾ LB Lawbstah! Stuffed. Cooked perfect! Next time we’ll skip the stuffing. We will most certainly be back!

Best part is this: Dining on the pier w a great view of the water. Perfectly sweet tender local steamers. The service is sketchy. The chairs & tables are plastic as is the service ware. Ultra casual. This place gets mighty packed on summer weekends. But all in all its a chill experience & the seafood is fresh.

Highly disappointed. I saw the pictures from previous posts on their food, I decided to order the lobster roll… Terrible! + Over priced. My lobster was sitting on top of a hot dog bun. It came with STALE old chips in a bag. It was gone in 3 bites! I ordered French fries to fill me up since the roll was tiny, they charged me $ 5 for the fries. I paid $ 19 and change for the roll + an extra $ 5 just for the fried. Never. Again!

This review is for the night scene at Claudio’s. Band was great, but way too loud. They played late 80’s and 90’s rock and the lead singer was really good. Drinks were overpriced, but nothing out of the ordinary for Long Island. You can expect $ 6 beers $ 8 drafts and $ 10 mixed drinks. $ 10 cover was a little steep for this place. The venue is large and can accommodate a large crowd. There are two bars, a dance floor and a seating area. The vibe was very college-esk but there were definitely a handful of people in there late 20’s and early 30’s. Overall we had a fun night!

Place is delicious and has a very nice menu. Location is awesome and a lot of outdoor seating. The raw bar is a little expensive but not terrible. Highly recommend

This place is a toilet. Stopped for lunch, artichoke app was cold in the middle, crab cake sandwich smelled off and was on a soggy bun, burger with cheddar was $ 17. Frozen burger, over cooked, stale bun, tomato confit was raw mushy tomato. Over priced for poor quality. Too many better restaurants in the area, skip this tourist trap!

Usually love claudios. Come out here about once a year with my fiancé. Unfortunately we were turned away at 8:30pm in the middle of June because the kitchen was«closing». That gave us the opportunity to explore other restaurant options in the area and we were not disappointed– Noah’s was amazing. I would have expected more from a restaurant that basically owns the greenport scene and was extremely disappointed in their customer service. Will not be going back any time soon.

Have seen Claudio’s over the years and always heard good things, but I was(finally) able to partake myself and I am so happy I did. An amazingly beautiful drive out on the North Fork making our way there is, of-course, a plus, but the casual yet special ambiance makes this place a go-to. We ate outside on the deck area, which is covered — the wait staff was attentive and courteous. We each split a lunch order as well as a dozen clams on a ½ shell. The marinated burger was one of the best I’ve had… and we also went with the Mahi Mahi Reuben, glad we did! Its the Mahi Mahi and a Hawian inspired slaw with a cheese(forget which kind) on a nice toast… it was really tasty… clams were nice, not huge and nice flavor to ‘em. We were both very happy with our drinks and meals. Yum.

The steamers are to die for! What a great place to eat and the food is awesome! The only downside is the Jordan Belfort and Donnie Azoff wannabes on their boats blasting their music! Not related to the restaurant but the steamers are delicious and creamy I can’t wait to go back!

Came here with my husband and another couple. Got a pitcher of beer and a few drinks to enjoy while we waited for our food. We came on a Saturday night, at around 6:30 — we only had to wait half an hr, and the servers were very nice and friendly(it was pretty crowded). Beautiful spot right on the water! Loved the casual feel, great music and the bar part at night becomes night clubish which is cool! If you go early and eat there, you can stay for the dancing and music without having to pay the $ 10 cover per person! Yeah, it’s like 1 free drink :) The food: Shrimp appetizer with spicy glazed sauce(I can’t find the actual name on the online menu) but shrimp was very tender. Personally the sauce was too mayo-y and heavy for me. Everyone else liked it though! Clam chowder — amazing, fresh clams and perfectly creamy. It was everything I expected from an award winning clam chowder. I eat clam chowder a lot in San Francisco, and while the creaminess is equally as good, the clams here are much more tender!!! Probably one of the best clam chowders I’ve ever had Fried platter — fried shrimp, fried scallops, fried flounder and fries. All fresh and delicious Lobster truffle Mac and Cheese — this was amazing!!! Larger macaronis that soak up/catch all the melted cheese and yummy flavor! Portion of lobster in the Mac and cheese is very generous!!! Would definitely order this again!!! Overall Claudia’s is a great place, fun spot to hang out by the water, eat, drink, dance and be merry!

The waitress, who was extremely pleasant and upbeat(I don’t remember her name but she’s the young lady from Staten Island), warned me that the lobster mac and cheese would be too much to finish. I took it as a challenge and an affront to my eating abilities. About one-third of the way through the really rich dish, my tummy started grumbling. Ah, the familiar sound of food defeat. I had to concede she was right. No matter. I turned to the lovely waterfront view to soothe myself, watching the boats and bystanders on the dock on a clear and sunny day amid calm waters. The baked stuffed clams weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but they’re solid. This is a casual, fresh-seafood restaurant amid a great setting, and it’s great for groups.

The server was very neglectful, food wasn’t very impressive but it may have been a off Day. Beer was good bar seemed fun. Like the fact you can dock next to it.
