We have wanted to go to this restaurant for quite awhile. I have heard some good and some bad. Unfortunately our experience was bad. We went on a Thursday evening in May. We walked in and immediately smelled an awful fish smell. That is the first clue that something is very wrong. We decided to be seated anyway. The place was basically empty with the exception of a few tables. They bring us to a table with a chair on one side and a bench on the other with a split in it. ??? We actually had to move the table so my wife was not sitting on a split in cushions. The menu was a little gourmet(which we usually like) but in this instance less is more. We ordered a few from the small plates and 1 crab cake meal. I couldn’t believe when the crab cake arrived it was a scoop of crabmeat salad on a bun with a ton of french fries $ 22.00. I would not have ordered a scoop of crab meat salad had I known. It was tasteless. One of the small plates was filet mignon sliders. The meat was fine but it was mixed with so much seasoning and sauce that you could barely taste it. Our experience was not a good memorable one. Definitely overrated and over priced. We will not return. I guess if you advertise enough you will eventually be known good or bad.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. We went to Noah’s last year for a regular family dinner and had a decent meal with terrible service. We waited an excruciatingly long amount of time for our food– they were sort of apologetic — but we left feeling disappointed in the experience. This past weekend we were looking to have a slightly upscale meal and decided to try Noah’s again. My son asked me, «isn’t that the place where we waited a really long time for our food?» Yes, yes, but maybe they just had a bad day, I explained. Second time around was just as bad but made even worse as menu is exactly the same and the service somehow got even worse. To start, we waited 15 minutes for our drinks — they only required pouring into glasses. We got nothing mixed, stirred, shaken! Then we waited 30 more minutes for our appetizers to arrive. The tuna tartare was bland but the beet salad was better. We then started the long wait for our entrees. After getting antsy, we scanned the room several times for our waitress– she was no where to be found for 20 minutes. How do you not check on your table? Finally we nabbed her and got a rushed apology that the food was coming right away. NOT. Another 15 minutes passed and we finally got our food of Kobe burgers, sliders and pasta with butter. The food was slightly better than average but the experience was too aggravating. And when we finally got our check the waitress chose that moment to throw the kitchen under the bus and offered to pass our feedback to mgmt– so that they can learn. Hopefully the will learn but we won’t be coming back.

Great food! Everything tasted really fresh and yummy. Really happy to find this place and would love to come back and have more seafood. Clam chowder was my fav. Calamari was also fantastic. The salad had tiny pieces of cheese. Otherwise everything was great. I recommend this place.

Great food, kind of slow service. I can here after a day of wine touring in the fall and it was really crowded. Everything about it I loved except for the service. But I don’t know if that was because it was super busy. Otherwise

Walked into Noah’s only to be greeted by an empty hostess desk, and a waitress walking by us twice. Sat outside only to wait 20 minutes without ever being served Got up and left, no one needs that garbage.

It’s ok — overpriced for what it is and very small portions for what it is and the price point. Very small. Inside lacks charm despite it’s appeal to be a modern, hip place the seats are pretty uncomfortable. Had to feed my husband after we left — he was still hungry 150 bucks later. Food was good though I was just more focused on the portion size for what it cost.

Cute restaurant in Greenport that I liked, but would have liked more had I gone in with lower expectations. Locals highly recommended it and the food was very good. I think the main problem is that it came so highly recommended that it didn’t meet expectations. That said, if I had gone in with no preconceptions I would have liked it much more and it’s a pretty good restaurant with some solid menu options. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom and goat cheese brick with truffle vinaigrette. The lobster pierogi was ok, but I don’t know if I would order it again. I didn’t try the filet mignon sliders, but saw others order them; they were very popular and looked delicious. They were also highly recommended by locals. I loved the oysters, but I’m a big East Coast oyster fan. The peanut butter semifreddo was described by the waitress as a «cold snickers bar». This was close, but it was really a very creamy peanut butter mousse. I’m a peanut butter fan and even I was a bit overwhelmed, so I’d only recommend it if you really love peanut butter. The space is very open and modern — the color scheme reminded me of an Apple store with a lot of white. It’s pretty, but you should know that there is no view of the water(the restaurant is on the wrong side of the street). People were in casual attire.

From farm-to-fork, this cute, quaint and upbeat spot was not a disappointment despite all the mixed reviews. They have a wide selection of local award-winning wines, plus craft beer. Service was great from the moment we made reservations and dinner was not disappointing. The portions are a bit on the small side; however, we were satisfied(it is considered a «fine dining» restaurant, so hence the smaller portions). The night we went it was«restaurant week», so we were able to enjoy a starter, entrée and dessert at a reasonable price. As a starter, we had the butternut squash soup, which was delectable and a salad. Our main course was the scallop special and pork chop coupled with sweetened, sautéed peaches and quiche. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and chocolate lava cake. Everything we ordered met our expectations! If you are ever in the area, Noah’s is worth a visit. *Note: There is a «Noah’s On The Road» that we spotted while visiting Martha Clara Vineyards. This is something worth looking into if in the North Fork area.

I am a huge fan of Tapas style eating, sharing with others and enjoying a lot of foods, per bite size so you can get a little taste of everything. But I have to say, the«bite-sizes» were ridiculously small. There were four of us and why on earth make them 3 bites when there are four of us? What the heck is up with that? The pricing here is incredibly high and for what you get, you really do not feel satisfied. The restaurant is cute with its white table cloths and modern ambience, but we all left and went to get something to eat afterward. The pictures represent the beautiful elegance of the presentation they give you here, but trust me when I say, think microscopic in size. Don’t let the pictures fool you. We ordered the street tacos and they were the tiniest tacos I have ever seen. I know street tacos, and they should be a 3 to 4 small bite taste. These were 2 bites for me and one bite for my husband. We all joked about the«Barbie» food for the next couple of days. The lobster roll was soooo tiny. We had planned to split it four ways and we ended up splitting it two with my giving my hubby a bite of my piece, leaving me with a bite. It was a joke. Cool vibe, cool place, fun setting, modern look and feel, WAYYY overpriced food for the portions you get. And good lord everyone, if you are making a plate for people to share, put at least four damn pieces on the plate when there are 4 people at the table. SERIOUSLY!

Came here with my family and had a terrible experience. I have been coming to Noah’s for years and I feel that the service increasingly gets worse. The wait for food during the summer is very long and to make it worse the quality is affected. Won’t be coming here for a while. I usually always order the filet mignon sliders which are never a disappointment and even those were bland this time

Me and my husband wanted to Iove this place but unfortunately we didn’t. First impression, The atmosphere is modern but cold and the décor seems unfinished. Although, I absolutely loved the original artwork on the walls. It just seemed like the place just opened, and they we’re still settling in. Here is what we ordered: Crab deviled eggs– absolutely delicious Cheese puffs — were dry, not that flavorful and one didn’t have any cheese filling. Lobster mac n cheese– this was a win. Very delicious, all 4of us thought so.(Me, hubby and twin 6 yr olds). Only drawback was that the lobster is so tiny, you can barely see it. We literally went hunting for it because We thought maybe they didn’t give us any. It was like speckles of lobster. It would be nicer if they were actual pieces. But despite that, stills great dish. The tomatoes in it were awesome, and the cheese they use(Gruyère) is outstanding. Burger and fries — husband ordered medium, and it came medium well. He said the beef was very good, but the bun we don’t really think it was a brioche bun as advertised. Either way, the bun he didn’t like. The fries were really good. A little over salted, but still good. Catch of the day Pan roasted Tile Fish with a vegetable ratatouille and herb salad(pictured) — the fish was cooked perfectly, very tasty, the ratatouille was really good too. Drawback was The herb salad, which was 4 little sprigs of something. Not sure they should call that a salad. Kind of misleading. But still enjoyed the dish. Service was friendly, but the main dishes took awhile to come out after the appetizers. Overall, we enjoyed most of the food, but due to the ambiance and cost, we wouldn’t go back. When we pay these kind of prices, we expect to be wowed and It left us a bit underwhelmed.

My review in one word: over-rated. Our first impression was that of the menu being pretty boring. Usually, we’d have a hard time deciding on what to order because everything looks so appealing, but on this occasion it was quite the opposite and we had a hard time deciding because there was no excitement in the menu selection at all. Along the same vein, our waiter was also pretty non-memorable. Also, we were there on a thursday night and the crowd seemed pretty ho-hum too. Not what we’d anticipated from all the positive reviews and buzz Noah’s seems to be generating for so long… The foie gras drizzled with honey was good. My catch of the day was Fluke that tasted frozen and overcooked. The octopus appetizer was very chewy. The Kobe burger was one of the better dishes… It’s a BURGER tho. nothing innovative there… While we’d gladly drop $$$ on an amazing/memorable meal, Noah’s just didnt provide one — so the meal was just way overpriced for what it was… I’d hoped for at least a decent but not bad experience, but unfortunately it barely met our expectations… Overall very mediocre and disappointing…

I’m posting this review for Noah’s on the road, their food truck. My wife and I are fans but I do have to say the menu choices we had were limited which is why I dinged them a star, I would’ve given 3.5 if possible but didn’t want to go to 3 only. They were at one of the wineries and I guess they had to work within certain constraints. I will say the Arepas were fantastic and I LOVED the Korean steak tacos. Prices seem on par with other food trucks in the area. If you’re looking for a bargain hit the dirty water dog truck on the side of the road. Next time we see Noah’s on the road we’ll be customers again. I’m looking forward to trying the lobster roll.

My boyfriend and I came in here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was attentive and kind. The food was fantastic and all the seafood was fresh! The steamed PEI mussels were huge and amazing! The lobster roll was overstuffed and amazing. Definitely give this place a try! The only con — the air conditioning was a little weak but it wasn’t unbearable.

The drinks were good. My aperol spritzer was well prepared and served promptly. But we came for food, and after the first appetizer we decided to leave. It was a basic tuna tartare that lacked flavor and substance. The same appetizer you would find in an Applebee’s(which we don’t frequent) that would appeal to a certain clientele. Asunita was the manager tonight and she seemed more interested in staff training than customer experience. The bartender was more focused on local guests than on checking on his other bar patrons. We felt dissed to say the least. He never once asked about our appetizer, he failed to bring the Sricha we asked for when we first ordered and we had to ask someone else, who turned out to be the manager, for sea salt and pepper after ten minutes or more with an uneaten dish sitting in front of us. At the prices they charge, this place is embarrassing.

This review is for the truck only, we just yesterday went to Corey Creek Twilight event and were looking forward to taco night and some wine plus music. After we paid our $ 5 cover per person to get in which was fine for free music, we headed inside. We checked the table while walking through and saw a Noah’s menu for the night, and that is when everything went downhill… 2 tacos for $ 15!!! We wanted to walk right back out, but since we paid our cover even though we were starving we waited for a friend to arrive. We decided on getting some chips… $ 7 and 8 store bought chips later and enough guacamole to put on about 3 of those chips we were starving even more. I write this review because people rave about Noah’s but we have been in the restaurant and now to the truck and all our friends agree, it does not live up to the hype. Sad i like to support local businesses too, but i can’t afford to support Noah.

Meh. This place is fine. But by being«fine», it falls short of what we were hoping it would be. A little taste of the tacos from Noah’s On The Road at the Greenport Brewing Peconic location and lots of oohing and aahing from friends and co-workers got our hopes up. It was smooth sailing when we were hoping to get blown out of the water. The Joint: Inside is spacious and clean and urbanite chic with a minimalistic feel more associated with Manhattan or the toney Hamptons. A little sere but nice nonetheless. We opted to sit outside. The tables were amply spaced so you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. To start, we had the the deviled eggs with crab meat. The briney nature of the crab worked really well with the egg. This serving is only 2 halves so order 2 if you’re a deviled egg fan. Wife had the lobster sandwich which was packed with meaty lobster bits. The bread from Blue Duck was crusty and buttery. It was a solid sandwich(she gave me half. what a great wife!) but did not really make an impression. I had the tuna tartare which I enjoyed but, again, indistinguishable from any of the other times I’ve had it. OK. I’m really not a food snob. I like great, aged steaks and I also like mystery meat slung from the bowels of a rusted food cart. I’m not into slamming joints or their chefs or their dishes(unless the food is so god awful my dog wouldn’t eat it. And my dog eats some pretty foul things.) Everything. Was. Fine. I think I got super-jazzed and our expectations were too high, which is our own fault. Besides the hearsay, the place itself looks pretty high end which added to the mystique. But it’s just a place to go have lunch. You will only be disappointed if you go in with über-high expectations. I did hear the dinner menu was pretty good, though. So, with an appropriate attitude adjustment, we’ll have to make our way back. Cheers!

With Noah’s being so well reviewed I couldn’t help but make a reservation when I discovered that we would be close by. As our reservation was for a Monday during the off season on the North Fork I wasn’t sure what to expect; would we get the star quarterback or would we get the second string in the kitchen? To be honest I have no idea because the food presented at our table was simply beautiful and perfectly prepared. Perhaps there is no second string, the kitchen is simply talented. The star of the show was the Tunisian Spiced Roasted Carrots. Warm spices met with pomegranate molasses over the top of crunchy, roasted tri color carrots. Dining with 3 other companions we were able to sample a good portion of the menu and nothing led us to be anything other than thrilled with the food. Our waitress Leslie was wonderful and attentive. If you are in the area be sure to seek out this very special eatery.

To finish off a culinary Thanksgiving weekend in NY, we returned to our Greenport favorite, Noah’s. This is our third visit, and Noah’s never disappoints. For one, the service is consistently great. All the servers, be they male or female, are model material and incredibly professional without being stiff or overbearing. And then there is the food! We really enjoy the tapas style menu, so we can order a variety. Today we picked a variety. The crab deviled eggs were as good as ever. Jack’s favorite was the tuna tartare which was presented seared, chopped, mixed with avocado, spices, topped with a seaweed salad, served with baguette sliced croutons. Although the bread added a pleasant crunch, the dish could be more appreciated without the crunch. Both flavors and textures were better presented by tasting the tartare solo. My favorite were the crab tacos. A delicious crab salad served in a small crispy corn tortilla. Yum-O! The lamb meatballs with hummus were also fantastic. Flavors reminiscent of Morocco! The chef is really a master of flavors. We will keep coming back on our trips to the North Fork.

Noah’s gets a lot of press as being one of the more sophisticated, forward-thinking, locavore places to dine on the north fork. While I would agree with that depiction, I wouldn’t consider it a slam dunk must-visit type of restaurant. My husband and I stopped by for Sunday brunch around noon, and were able to get an outdoor table right away. The crowds definitely descend later in the day towards 1−2pm. The menu had plenty of options, and we chose to split some BBQ oysters to start. These were tasty, juicy, briny, and I loved the savory BBQ sauce. The presentation was nice too — the little guys were seated on a bed of salt rocks. I ordered the soft shell crab BLT on brioche, which was a brunch special, and came with fresh cut fries. This was absolutely delicious, and I savored every bite! My only complaints lie within the service. Our waiter was absentee, didn’t give us bread, and our meal timing was ridiculously drawn out. The food is not THAT good or THAT special to balance out such lousy service. Step it up guys!
