Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Very simple, if you want the best coffee-​this is the place. Great selection of beans and brews. Most importantly, no «push button» brewing of expression drinks. Each shot is pulled at the «just right» moment to give you the best taste and flavor.

Great coffee and service. Everyone that works there is always very efficient and friendly. I also love Peets coffee. Major Dickerson is my favorite!

I never thought the day would come that I gave Peets a bad review, but that day has arrived. I’ve been in here about 5 times, and almost every time my drink has been lukewarm at best. Today I politely asked if the barista could make it hotter & she literally took my drink and threw it in the sink, where it splattered everywhere, down the front of the sink and onto the ground. I can’t be sure she was angry, but she definitely wasn’t kind about it at all. When I got my drink again, the flavoring was so strong I couldn’t even drink it. I’d already gone to my car, and didn’t want to upset the barista again, so I drove to a Starbucks & put some creamer in my drink to try to make it bearable. Of course that cooled the drink down, so I was back where I started.
I don’t know if the baristas here are just moody because they have to deal with rich Granite Bay types all the time, or what. But I have been a faithful Peets customer for years, and never seen service this bad. On top of my bad experience today, I have to say that they don’t seem to know how to make foam here. Their foam is always super thin, to the point of being nonexistent.
I feel bad leaving a negative review for Peets, but I really think this location needs some help. I’ll go to Roseville next time I need a Peets fix. They are much more professional and friendly there.

This Peers needs more attention from management … I entered at 6:30p and there was a line of 10 people waiting to order and another 10 waiting for drinks. With 4 people working it shouldn’t have been this backed up. The employees were friendly but talking amongst themselves about what time they were getting off work and the baristas showed no particular urgency.
.The bathroom was filthy with no toilet paper on the roll but lots on the floor. All in all we wanted a quick coffee and bathroom break and jump back on 80 but ended up delayed a over an hour, still needing to go to the bathroom.
The coffee is good but for $ 6.25 for 2 small lattes, it should have been a better experience.

I give Peets 5 stars for the awesome staff. Had a meeting with friend and they were closing up, but allowed us to continue our meeting until we were done. Nice to see people who get customer service.

We use this location for business meetings as they have private tables in hallway. They also have free WiFi.

Peets is one of my very favorite coffee places, and I come to this location a lot with my family since it’s pretty close to my house. It’s located in a great center in Granite Bay within the vicinity of a lot of other good businesses, and has a ton of space. Their café fredos are particularly great, and the staff here is really nice. The one reason why I am not giving this one 5 stars (as I would all other Peets locations I’ve been to) is because the wifi here is absolutely ABYSMAL, quite honestly the worst wifi I have ever experienced in my life. Most of the time this isn’t an issue for me, since my family and I make quick stops here or come here to chat with one another, but in the handful of instances I’ve come here to get schoolwork or research done, their wifi’s constant malfunctioning has driven me beyond berserk. Otherwise, if you’re not planning on getting anything accomplished on your computer at this location, it’s great.

This location is okay. I tried to come on a late Monday afternoon to get some work done, but the environment wasn’t particularly inviting.
Most of the tables are small round ones that are made for conversation rather than setting up your laptop. I only saw one square table that looked like it had a decent setup and it was far from the window. The other square tables were in the hallway and had wicker chairs. I thought it was universally understood that wicker chairs are uncomfortable? Apparently not.
I got a hot chocolate made with soy and it was okay. I’m not impressed and it’s not helping that the staff who works here keeps having loud conversation with each other. I’ll definitely bring ear plugs if I ever come back.
I didn’t have the worst experience here, but this place is the definition of average to me.

Great coffee house. Fast & easy to get into.
I actually go biking in the area and it’s a perfect place after biking to stop for a large glass of iced tea. The servers are efficient & friendly. This is a very very clean coffee house. And the pastries are to die for.

Great gathering spot in Granite Bay. Check in on Unilocal and get a dollar off. I go here everyday and meet some many people from Granite Bay and the surrounding area. It is really nice to run into friends and have a quick conversation with a few sips of the morning Java.
Then stop in in the afternoon for a quick cookie and a small refill. Great staff with a lot of really good conversations. Love Peet’s Russell!!!

Nice peets location with a large lobby where there is always room to sit. Tons of outdoor seating available too. Friendly staff always makes u feel welcome. Come early because closer to noon your choice of pastries will be almost nonexistent. We love it here.

I love to go here for coffee or tea because it’s a great meeting place for business or social visit.

Just another delicious Peets! Picked up an iced coffee today, very smooth. Threw in some ground nutmeg and cinnamon and a lil splash of non fat milk. Their house coffee iced or hot is far superior to Starbucks. Much smoother tasting… I challenge you to a taste test! Although I would take a smaller coffee house over most other chains Peets is tough to beat.

Ok, I don’t care about the snootiness or the baristia’s, or what ever concoction they can froth up to desecrate coffee, but, the brewed coffee is so much better than CharBucks. I think this company actually cares about the beans they use. I like this location also because I don’t have to wait long for brewed coffee. Added bonus, different eating options in the mini mall attached to the coffee shop.

I like going to Peet’s but this location for some reason seem to have a little bit of a snobby attitude. I am more of a Starbucks person and I know that Peet’s has their own following, but come on its just coffee. Don’t get so hung up when you walk in and accidentally order a grande and look at you like your stupid. For some reason it takes forever to make your drinks as well? Not sure what they are doing behind the barista counter but it all taste the same when it comes out… my suggestion is lose the snobby attitude and just step up the customer service it is just coffee!

What can I say, I love this place. I love the baristas, I love the coffee, I love the location, I love the clientele… it is my favorite spot to work (outside of work)
The fact that I add 15 minutes to my morning commute to get coffee from here should bear testimony to my love.

Coffee is good but they cut your wifi usage off after one hour… Don’t go here if you plan on working all day

This Peet’s location is in a strip mall and is located next to a Fitness 19. The service is great (very friendly baristas) and the coffee (as always for Peet’s) is way better than Starbucks!

I have a been a huge fan of Peet’s Coffee and was totally thrilled when they opened up the Granite Bay location, the Folsom location, and the El Dorado Hills location.

Why?
Good coffee, not overly loaded on high fructose corn syrup compared to Starbucks. Goodness you can taste!
They carry great varieties of tea too:)
And I love their scones and citrus bread.
Really nice coffee and please try the freddos!
