Great restaurant! Amazing flavor to the curry(we had the panang). Also, the peanut dipping sauce that came with the spring rolls appetizer was by far the best peanut sauce I have ever had at a Thai restaurant. Our waiter Kevin was so kind, welcoming and attentive to our needs. Also, loved the décor and cozy seating. We felt so welcomed and relaxed and we will definitely be back!

The food was pretty good but the staff and service was less than one star. My friend, her teenage son, and I went for lunch on a weekday in December. Everything started out fine except it took a very long time to get our meal. When it arrived, my friend’s dish wasn’t made it as she had requested(nothing crazy, just a substitution or two). My friend alerted the waitress and she took it away to be re-made. When the new dish arrived, it was still made incorrectly. My friend got up to ask the waitress to just bring her some green onions — which was the missing part of her order. A gentleman waiter intercepted my friend and asked if he could be of help. My friend explained the situation and from there our dining experience went downhill, around the bend, and over a cliff! The waitress returned with the grilled green onions and told my friend that there were green onions in the dish, but she didn’t realize my friended wanted EXTRA. Well anyone who had eyes could see there were no green onions. I was surprised that the waitress would make such a snarky comment. You know«the customer is always right» attitude? How about just delivering the onions and apologizing. The gentleman who had offered to help my friend when she went looking for the waitress cane over to our table and accused us of having«a lot of tension at our table.» I was so put-off by his attitude that I said there was tension at the table! He proceeded to lecture us on how it was the holiday time and he was happy and everyone should be happy… that«as the captain of this ship, I want everyone to be happy…» His behavior was so rude. I asked for a to-go box and in the meantime he started to clear the plates from our table. He took my fork that was on an empty plate and I quickly reached for it back(because I was going to use it to scoop the leftover food in the container). He would NOT let go of the fork! It was so crazy. We were both holding onto the fork until he finally let go. How weird is that?!? Then he rudely said, «well surely I can take this(the empty plate)???» When he returned with the to-go box he basically shoved it at me, walked away, and then immediately turned around and started yelling at us. Yes, yelling! Telling us he used to be a lawyer and made millions of dollars and we can pay the bill or not pay the bill, he didn’t care. We had every intention of paying the bill. He told us he was the owner«I’m Kevin E. Johnson and you can Unilocal me if you want…» My friend, who was very upset by all this, started to tell him that she’s been a loyal customer, this is one of their favorite restaurants, they come here a lot, etc. and he told her to lower her voice, there were customers there, and then he turned away and refused to hear her out. He didn’t seem to mind that there were customers there when he was berating us. At that point we decided to leave and as we walked out, he was yelling and spelling his name K-E-V-I-N E. J-O-H-N-S-O-N. His behavior was so aggressive and appalling and unbelievable! I’ve never had a dining experience like that before. Needless to say, I will never go there again.
