I was looking forward to eating here for a while, thought it would be hometown style, I was really disappointed, no real butter in the whole place, they told me the y didn’t use real butter for anything, stuff is cooked with margarine… yeech!!!

Great breakfast spot. Very busy on Saturday morning, we were seated quickly. The open face scrambler was amazing. Buttermilk pancakes have a great flavor. Very large portions and fair prices. Service was great.

Fantastic, friendly service. Food was outstanding — biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, hash browns. Good coffee. The prices were astonishingly reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. It is the favorite breakfast place of our friends who live in Granbury, and we quickly jumped on the bandwagon.

It’s was loud. Food had no seasoning. My grandson refused to eat the food and said yuck. He eats everything and is already a foodie. So yuck it is. My food was edible. Had not been in for about a year. Didn’t miss a thing and won’t be back.

Atmosphere is typical café style. We had lunch special which was Turkey and dressing and green beans for me and hubs had Beef tips and rice with steamed cabbage. It was ok, nothing special. The green beans were too stringy. The people next to us ordered breakfast food and it looked much better to us. Next visit we will have breakfast. The servers were all friendly and attentive.

Best breakfast in Granbury by far! Look no further because all of your dreams come true here. The service is great, everyone is super nice and they look happy to be there. The coffee is great and the food is even better. You must have a biscuit for sure! The prices are cheap too! You may have to wait a few minutes sometimes but the wait was never too long when I went there. But it is most definitely worth the wait!

My husband and I visited Firehouse because of the reviews we read on Unilocal. It was great! The food is delicious and served piping hot. Prices are very reasonable. Loved the atmosphere and the service was outstanding. Try the cinnamon buns. They are amazing!

Great little café. The chicken fried steak is good but if you’re an expert on chicken fried steak, I’d suggest ordering something else. The chili hamburger is amazing.

Great home cooking. Can get busy and there might be a wait but that speaks to the goodness.

Neat place and good food. Fairly quick on a Sunday morning. Wish we had found it sooner. Huge pancakes so beware!

There was a wait but we opted to sit at the counter. Food was great. Great portions. I had the two egg breakfast and the has towns where so good! My bf had the chorizo and egg and it was real chorizo! Lady at the counter was very nice and made sure we didn’t wait long for our food! Was in town for a wedding and glad we stopped by,

The place is charming… but you are dining in total chaos. Breakfast took 90 minutes because the service was randomly handled. Whoever was walking by took a drink order… someone else did food. Took forever to get coffee and they finally came with order but gave to someone else. Finally got ours but in courses. Pancakes… few minutes later bacon which was all crumbles and no full pieces. When we were almost done they brought our eggs.

We have been to the Firehouse twice now and both times we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is full of flavor(better than average breakfast) and the service was on par. It remains busy but there is always someone there to make sure you are taken care of. Down side: Portion sizes are massive which I think is a little much and there is not a waiting area. Neither are reasons to keep us from being frequent customers!

The firehouse café as always was clean. The wait staff was prompt and courteous. We were only there less than a minute and our order was taken. It only took 4 minutes to get our food and when we did get our food it was hot and delicious. the pancake I ordered was as big as the plate. The breakfast taco that my guest had was humongous and almost as long as the oval plate. While we ate the waitress kept checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything.

Granbury’s best kept secret! I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is! From the loyal locals, to the sweetheart of an owner, the excellent service, and tastiest breakfast! Those biscuits blew my mind! Seriously, you have to give this place a shot! You won’t regret it!

Tried this place for a late breakfast on Saturday. They had us wait outside(it was hot!). They took our drink orders and we waited 35 minutes for our food. I sat and observed THREE people in the kitchen cooking for the whole place. When the food came, my breakfast taco was wrong and my husbands food was cold. We paid for the drinks and left. Such a let down and a waste of time as we were in town to enjoy the weekend.

After eating here(and other Granbury breakfast options) more than once, I’m going on the record as saying this is where we are the most likely to come for breakfast. I like the service. I like the variety of the menu. I like the crowd. Even though I was craving something sweet for breakfast(the cinnamon roll looks good) I opted for savory after seeing an interesting bottle of hot sauce on the table… So I went for the loaded breakfast taco(see photos). This thing was pretty yummy, though using chorizo would have gone over better than the chopped up sausage patty. No matter, it was still good. Next time I want that sweet breakfast I’ll be back for the cinnamon roll.
