Last May 2015 I enrolled in their loyalty membership program. Among discounts for products this included free Wi-Fi for a year. Since LA fitness doesn’t provide Wi-Fi for its customers, $ 60 was a good deal. The Fit-fresh went under new ownership in July and he cut off the Wi-Fi and he told me that he was no longer doing the loyalty membership program. He never reimbursed me for the money that I paid into it and there are still signs that are around the club advertising the loyalty membership program. Not a good way to do business, if you ask me.

Perhaps the worst service I have EVER received here. I purchased a groupon valid for 3 smoothies that I paid in advance for. Upon my visit the employee was clueless as to how to ring it up. So she called the manager to see and said they couldn’t take it because the owners had switched over. So I waited for the manager to talk about the matter. She arrived and stood in the back room texting for 10 minutes before coming out to say a very unenthused ‘hi’. After explaining to us rudely for 10 minutes about how the business is losing money, she would not comp us what we had already paid for and wouldn’t even give us a discount on anything. I’m not sure who she is because she didn’t even introduce herself but I have never encountered such a difficult and unprofessional manager ever. I was looking for a gym to join, but after this, I will stay as far away from la fitness and this juice bar as I possibly can!

Hmm… Walked in to the front desk and was told the juice bar was «Not open because the lady who runs it hasn’t been coming in to work.» In a small town that would be pretty rare… But in the suburbs?! What the heck, hire some extra help for the person who hasn’t been showing up! So weird.

I stopped in LA Fitness for a workout and found this juice bar in the corner.
I said to myself should I give them a try!
I did… to find out that they make great smoothies with fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, different types of protein. The service was great! The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant, explaining all the different ways that she could make the smoothies, with or without protein.
Also they sell an assortment of protein bars.
The place was great! I’ll be back.
