Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

Large selection but seriously overpriced (paid almost $ 10 for only 2 truffles and 1 other bite-​sized piece of chocolate; I actually double-​checked the receipt to see if I had been double-​charged for something) and I question the freshness. The chocolate-​dipped pretzel rod was stale and the chocolate on it was all cracked.

I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years or so… I only come once a year, because my friends mom likes their candies and I grab a custom picked out candy box for Christmas.
Good…
1. The location is good– I can just drop by here when I am Christmas shopping at Geneva Commons.
2. They have chocolate. And the selection is pretty good and they have sugar free stuff as well.
The not so much
1. The customer service is horrible… I always feel like I am putting someone out when I am in there looking for help? Really? Every time I asked something the woman who was «helping» me looked at me like I just fell of the stupid truck.
2. They are way overpriced for what they are… I bought a box of chocolates longer rectangle box for close to 40 $ I mean it isn’t fine chocolate (not even close) or anything why such a high price tag.
3. The counters always look dirty in the back? Or maybe messy is a better word… very cluttered.
I only go in once a year so I am not their target customer and clearly with their poor customer service they don’t want me to be which is fine. but I think my friend’s mom will now be receiving Chocolate from Graham’s in downtown Geneva for Christmas as well… I can’t stomach putting my money to support this not so friendly overpriced store.

Nice selection of items but WAY Overpriced for the amount you get. I can’t believe they do not have English Toffee, what Chocolate shop does not carry this. Even the Frango Mints store at Macy’s has this. Once you have tasted Fine European Chocolate like I I did at The Chocolaterie Stam in Rochester, MN nothing else compaires

Seriously OVERPRICED! I always find myself there on a crave whim & then have to bend over at the cash register. Nice selection of sugar-​free varieties & I love their white chocolate. High-​end boutique prices for what you get.

Can’t go wrong with chocolate. The woman who helped was very nice! Bought a almond cluster (my favorite) and I think it is one of the best I ever had.
