My experience here was pretty disappointing. My boyfriend and I got bentos, the chicken katsu and the chicken teriyaki. They were pretty ordinary with nothing great about it expect the rice. The salmon sushi was so hard to eat I hardly got any meat out of it. It also just seem as though the lady didn’t like us to begin with, she treated us pretty strangely too out of all the other customers there. They got extra attention like being given waters or tea while we got our food and a hurried exit away overall not great.

Extremely rude customer service. She was really nice until she found out I wasn’t paying with cash. For some reason that ticked her off. She even tossed my receipt and the pen towards me. I will never come here again. Ordered the Kimchi udon, which sounded really good due to the current weather. Watching her cook it, it’s just package udon noodle soup with veggies. –____–

Great place! Has the best kimbap in Orange county! This place is located inside of H Mart food court. I come here quite often and always happy with the food, prices and service. The owner lady is very nice and friendly.

Hmm definitely a 2.5 star. I went to H Mart for the first time and I was walking around inside and surprised to see there were restaurants. I never knew they had places to eat inside but I went to the first place I saw which was this restaurant. An enthusiastic lady called me over and told me about some of the things they had and it was hard for me to say no to such a nice greeting. I decided to eat here before I even looked it up on Unilocal. I ordered the veggie udon with a california roll. I was the only person there at the time and the food came out in a few minutes but the quality was a bit bland. I don’t know if there was anything really special about it but on the bright side, it was inexpensive. Definitely won’t be back but I think some of the surrounding restaurants were worth a shot.

Do not come here if you are not a fan of the unsanitary. While she was making my order, she was eating and wiping her face along the way. Would not eat here again.

If I could give this place a zero star for my experience today, I would. I’ve been here a few times and overall the food is mediocre. Since my friend was craving sushi, I told her that Hmart sells pretty good salmon sashimi, but we decided on eating here. HOWEVER, my experience was just terrible. I ordered one salmon roll, which I believe is #35, and it took her over 20 minutes to make it. Not to mention, I had to remind her. Being that she doesn’t speak English really well, she said sorry and I was forgiving, but more time passed by and she still didn’t finish making a simple salmon roll and that’s when I started to get a little agitated because she was trying to lure customer to buy from her store instead of making our food that we already had to ask about. Finally, after receiving our food after what seems like forever, we were delighted to see that she was kind enough to give us two extra piece, but little did we know we wouldn’t be able to eat it because one had HAIR on it and another piece had a PIECEOFSCALE/PLASTIC. By this point, we were kinda hopeless so we just ate what we could and thought we would just let her know about what was on our food, but when we did, she got defensive saying that it was from the fish’s stomach and that its okay to eat it. When I insisted that it was hair/plastic, she was like«oh sorry, but these were free anyways» to going to the kitchen and showing me fish guts and lastly sticking her finger in our sushi and then r offering us it. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Save yourself the stomach ache and go elsewhere. We simply wanted to let her know and in the end she got defensive and did not even offer any compensation besides saying sorry without meaning it. Oh, also, my friend had a bad stomach ache and so did I.

So my friend and I went to this place because we wanted some raw sushi. We were excited and ended up waiting for 20 mins for our dish. Even though they gave us 2 extra sushi, it have hair in it. We told the store owner and they tried to argue it’s not hair then my friend pointed it out then they asked do we want it back? Even though she touched her dirty ass hand into the sushi to take out the hair. GROSS!!! NOTFUCKENCOMINGBACKHEREAGAIN. I SHOULDHAVETAKEN A PICTUREOFIT. FUCKTHISPLACE

I ordered the Haedap Bap(Sashimi Rice). After tax it came out to $ 9 flat. They said it normally comes with Red Snapper, but I asked them for salmon and red snapper. It was okay. The fish wasn’t super fresh or not fresh. The sauce wasn’t the best sauce I had at a Korean sashimi place. It was a light sesame dressing with watered down red pepper sauce you can squirt over it. I prefer mine with more sesame seed oil, and gochujang. I did like how the rice and the sashimi salad came in separate bowls. It’s better for my diet. It’s a decent deal for the amount of food you get.

This place is inside a Korean market. Ire more like a small food court. As an asian fast food(mix of Japanese and Korean) restaurant is pretty good. The pricing is decent and portion is generous. But this is not the place you would go for sushi. Not a whole lot of selection, just the common items of Tuna, Salmon, and california rolls. Their Spicy Soup is really good, it’s made with fish, tofu, and veggies I believe. The owners are really nice although they don’t speak too much English but they do try.

Would I order sushi from this place? No! Fast food, food court and sushi = oxymoron in my book! However, this will be my go-to spot when it comes to the best tasting fried rice ever!!! Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai … move over! Something about #44 roasted salmon egg rice! Flavor packed, loved every bite!!! It’s a sin how much I love it! And it doesn’t look like the pic they have on displayed! It was thanks to my co-worker, Kim, who brought it back to the office and shared it with me. And to think, I almost passed on the sampling! Moral of the story: Always try everything!!! =) Also tried #15 — hot soba, it was ok. Udon is the next thing I want to try here! They have a lot of different yummy looking items! The lady, owner is very nice!(Unlike her neighbor at MyungIn Dumplings who was so rude to me!!) Unassuming food court where a girl can feel safe and comfy enjoying a meal alone.

Prices aren’t on the cheap side but you get what you pay for My buddy and I were hungry one day so we decided to drive and found the korean mart and walked into the food court. Out of all the places the lady who was working got us to eat at her spot. I didnt know what to order and she was very helpful on what people usually get. trying to force me to get #1 or #2 the whole time so i did! She brought our food to us where we were sitting and kept asking us if we were okay. GREATSERVICE! FOODWASFRESH. WORTHTHEMONEYANDTHETRIP.

The sushi rolls are good and they serve big portions and their inexpensive However the atmosphere isn’t that great. It’s in a grocery store so you feel like your in a cafeteria. Beware though, they don’t give your change back they assume its their tip
