Mediocre at best… The crabs were brought out slowly, and there was a huge line. The fruit tasted funny.

I like the sushi here, they always have a variety which is always a plus and a must. They have a lot of different of food to choose from. And you can even make plate of what you want them to cook for you.

Pretty meh. Food was very greasy, and lukewarm-cold. I would not come here again. They had some Korean BBQ beef ribs but there was more fat than meat on the bones it was pretty much inedible. I wanted some plain steamed white rice but upon closer inspection I saw that it was shiny with oil, wtf? Gross.

Oh my god. I’ve never been to a buffet this vile. Walking in the smell of seafood hits your nose. I dunno something seemed off about the smell but it wasn’t major so I ignored it. My suspicions were confirmed when I saw the inside of this place. Chairs and tables were so STICKY, oh let’s grab a plate to get food! WAIT try to find a plate that doesnt have leftover food stuck to it!!! Do they even wash it with soap or do they do a quick water rinse? I obviously don’t expect something like a buffet to be healthy, but how much oil do you have to add to something like sauteed broccoli… my lips were covered shiny with the oil and apparently it’s actually animal fat according to another review. Really??? REALLY??? I tried the sushi, and somehow, it tastes like nothing. WTF? I was hoping desert would be somewhat ok, but really the brownie tasted like those old pre-packaged brownies from middle school. This place is so disgusting on all levels. And sketchy. Please fix the cleanliness of this place.

3rd time here! I must like it a lot. Good selections. Variety Good prices too. Although I was kind of fooled or didn’t read correctly about the child’s age pricing. It’s actually $ 1 – 2 per year of the child. I thought it was $ 2 per child.

Needs improvement on the food. Its either the food is bland or salty. And the steak i got from the buffet was still a bit raw. Not sure if I’m going back. Also, lighting and ambiance is plain and ordinary

This was the first and last time I will eat at this restaurant. Their service was very bad and it their face expresses like they do not want to help you. My family and I ate at this restaurant when it was going to close in an hour and a half. They already started cleaning up and they had already started not putting out food. The food that was left out was already cold and not enjoyable. Besides that, it is very expensive and will not be worth the money or time to eat at the restaurant.

Horrible!!! Go somewhere else!!! If you’re staying at Great Wolf Lodge. Go anywhere else except for here. If you read this and not take my word for it you will go back wherever you came from and sit in your bed or couch or whatever and say«damn, that guy on Unilocal was right»

What can I say… Although I liked the limited yet very decent selections of dishes, I could not overlook the fact that the type of fat used to cook these dishes were highly concentrated animal fat. I can cook and I can distinguish among animal fat, vegetable oil, canola oil, olive oil, corn oil, etc., you cannot fool me. This establishment clearly uses the cheapest, nastiest animal fat to cook the food to save cost. I wanted to come back and eat some of the dishes but the thought of clogging up all my blood vessels really scare me. Please please for the sake of humanity, at least use vegetable oil to cook your food. You might even get more customers to come back that way than trying to cut cost with this nasty greasy animal fat you use to cook your food.

Stopped by for lunch after getting my nails done across the street. The hostess was very cheery and sat us right away. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food for a $ 8.49 buffet! The food had good seasoning and was fresh. There was a continuous flow of refills coming out. The selection is slightly small compared to other seafood buffets in the area, but I think it makes up for it in taste. The service is on point! My waiter was extremely attentive, and constantly refilled my water. I think it’s worth trying if you’re in the area with a big appetite but small budget.

My experience was overall just ok. It had the normal selection as well as sushi and Mongolian bbq which was pretty cool. The quality of food all though is sub par although bearable. The service was fine too.

Came here for dinner after a long day at great wolf lodge next door. Exhausted from swimming, my family and I were in the mood for Chinese food. This place also had a Mongolian bbq station where you can customize your noodles. They serve steaks, Mongolian bbq, grilled squid and fish. For dessert, I highly recommend the mango ice cream

Rude! Did not pick up some coins left on table after pay, the server stood on the way out, giving«order»: «pick up your change with you!» When I did not, he suddenly came to table, grabbed change, walked outside, threw into a trash can! When heard, in-charge person made no apology for it.

DONOTGOHERE! It’s just not worth the money and the pain. I was there for less than an hour and I had to rush home to use the bathroom right afterward. I’m a seafood lover so I ate more seafood than my 2 companions. Even the non-seafood items were not good. Actually, as soon as I entered the restaurant I got a bad vibe. It was fairly empty. The place was dingy looking and smelled moldy. We sat down and the booth felt sticky. The workers were nice but the food was just not edible or fresh or even clean enough for consumption. I think the healthy department needs to stop by for a visit. NEVERAGAIN! No thanks

I hate to say this, but this place is terrible experience. I won the ball from the crane machine and it gets stuck. I asked for helped but she said«I can’t do anything about it.» No help, no refund. I walked out of nothing and wasted a dollar. About the food, it’s meh. Topical chinese buffet. Sometime the man cooking the Mongolian BBQ demand a tip. Anyways, not a good place to enjoy your vacation or celebration. Thanks a lot.

«Meh, I’ve experienced better.» This place was just depressing. To be honest, when my friends suggested this place I was a little disappointed. But I was willing to give it a shot. Even though deep down I knew it was not going to be the best, I still was optimistic and hoped it would catch me by surprise. But it didn’t… When walking around the buffet, you just know the food they serve is what you are NOT supposed to be eating. Not healthy, oily, poor quality food. All of the food was salty. The crab legs were okay… Which is why I gave the 2 stars. If my friends invite me to go again, I will most likely suggest another place or politely decline the invitation. I just know the food served here clogged my arteries and made me feel bloated for days. Spare yourself and go eat somewhere else for an enjoyable dinner. Use your $ 16 you would spend on this buffet on a better quality meal… Unless you want quantity over quality do not come here.

Came here for lunch because my mom and I wanted something to eat before going to Disneyland. What What a huge mistake. As soon as we walked in they greeted me with an «Hola» and my mom a «kumusta.» Now I’m not Latina/Hispanic and I don’t really care much if they mistake me for a different race, but they were constantly trying to converse with me in spanish. If I constantly reply in english, I think it’s okay for you to speak it back to me as well. The food was subpar. It wasn’t too special, but at least I could swallow it down. My mom and I needed some candy to wash down the gross taste afterwards though. I was really stoked that they had a Mongolian grill, so I stocked up on shrimp, vegetables, and hella noodles. Another fatal mistake. I don’t know how to describe the taste, but those were some of the worst noodles I have ever eaten. The shrimp was very shrimp-y, and it was very rubbery as well. I’ve never had to work so hard to swallow down a meal in my life. I feared that they would charge me for leaving extra food on the plate, but I just couldn’t do it. I’m sure they have good food items, but I just didnt find them. The soups were watery, the bread was stale, the meats were dry, the fried rice was too salty, the cheesecake wasnt even smooth? etc. should I go on? I really wanted to like this place, but I was just disappointed. Even when I was trying to pay and looking for the right credit card, the lady just came by to swoop down and grab one of them without saying anything. The card they grabbed was one of my old ones that didnt have much on it, so I tried to go back and switch my paying method but they had already charged my card. There were some nice employees, but a lot of them seemed kind of stuck up. When they returned MY card, they only spoke to my mother about the bill and the tip, and asked for her signature while ignoring me the whole time even though i was the one who gave them the card. I was the one who was paying, yet they made assumptions again and thought I couldn’t pay with my own money. In reality, I would give this place the same rating as my new card balance: 0.76÷5. However, I did enjoy the coconut shrimp and mochi ice cream they offered. It was one of the few pleasurable experiences here. I’m glad I don’t live around here, I’m definitely not coming back here ever again. hopefully your experience is better than mine. You can’t really judge a place through one encounter alone, but I’m just not gonna risk getting sick again.

For $ 8.99 you seriously can’t go wrong. Great service here. Oh $ 8.99 is only during lunch time. I came on a Saturday at 1230noon. No wait! Plenty of parking too! As soon as you’re done eating with a plate, they come and clean it up so that you have more space to eat. They have Mongolian BBQ here people!!! Get this! I loved the bread with seafood on top. I also love the grab stuffed with seafood. Yum yum. They have Kbbq here too. Hilarious! Unfortunately it was dry and seemed a day or two old. The sushi wasn’t bad. They are actually fresh and I saw the chef constantly making more and more. Be sure to try the mochi balls. It’s pretty dang cool have they have so many! Lots of ice cream too! The soda is $ 1.75 here so you’re better off just going with the water.

I asked my friend where she wanted to go for her birthday and she chose this place. After reading the reviews, I was terrified of coming here, but luckily it ended up ok for everyone involved. I paid $ 16 per person on a weeknight. Also, contrary to other reviews, drinks are NOT included. They charge $ 1.75 for soda. Because of other Unilocal reviews I read, I did not try any seafood except for the crab(or maybe krab) in a shell and the coconut shrimp. I waited 16 hours after eating there to write this review in case of food poisoning and luckily, nothing happened to me. I did not eat their freakishly giant oysters or their crab legs. I did try their chow mein(typical fast food style), chicken on a stick(dark meat, seasoned well, cooked well), mushroom chicken(not bad), shu mai(old), egg custard bun(overcooked and old), flan(terrible don’t bother), and fresh fruit(papaya was ok, pineapple canned, orange tasted weird). Their sushi looked like regular buffet sushi from anywhere, but I didn’t bother trying to eat it. Those trays were on a bunch of ice cubes. I don’t know if that kept them at optimum non-food-poisoning temperature. There was no one in here, which I wasn’t surprised about, but it made me sad anyway because the servers were very nice. The restaurant was not run down, but rather slightly tacky. It was minimally clean. The bathrooms were also clean, but too close to the food. There’s a shortcut from the bathroom to the food. In conclusion, eat here if someone else insists, and if you’re careful about choosing safe foods you’ll be ok. If you’re a thrill seeker, enjoy the uncertainty. Oh yeah, still a better option than Hometown Buffet.
