Great food with great service. I love the LA kalbi ribs. I like choosing my own meats/banchans without having to flagging down the servers everytime. Highly recommended.

So we decided to try this place because it’s a buffet for side dishes and meat, meaning you get to get the meat yourself instead of ordering. We got there at around 1, lunch time, and it was $ 12.95 each person. So I gave this place 3 stars because 1) The plates felt really dirty. They were all sticky and gross feeling. I thought it was just one plate, but all of them felt like that. 2) The onion rings were cold(not sure if it’s supposed to be or not. But im pretty sure they were already cooked and just cold) 3) There was not much of good meat choices.(But hey, for their price and unlimited, it’s not too bad). There’s no beef belly :( 4) Rice didn’t seem very fresh. 5) Salad was super oily So some good things: 1) Meat itself was pretty decent. Brisket was good, but when they brought out the second round, it was really dry :/The bacon was basically just super thing pork belly, but still good. 2) Good service. The lady would always come and clear our plates for us and refill our drinks without us asking. 3) Clean place(besides the plates like I said) and very roomy. 4) The noodles for the side dish was good. And of course, unlimited rice paper! Overall, I wouldn’t come back here again unless I really had no where else to go.

Good Korean bbq place. Friendly servers, clean and everything is fresh. Only 4 stars because I wish they had a larger selection of desserts. Highly recommend this place!

Honestly this place is really good, but today I decided not to eat since I don’t eat a lot, so I brought my own food while my parents eat. Well I caught one of the ladies just looking where we r sitting and staring and it’s very uncomfortable, every time I turn around she looks away as if she was staring. if I brought my own food it’s because I’m not going to eat, so I do not like the fact that they are just«taking care» or you.

This is a self serve, AYCGrab KBBQ restaurant for $ 21.99!(Weeknight dinner price) Selection is pretty big but the quality is average. There were 3 main buffet sections: 1. Salad bar, hard boiled eggs, Potato salad, chap chae(Korean glass noodles), corn, mushrooms, spinach and sauces. They had a thick pinkish one I didnt like and a soy based one with jalapenos I didnt try because it was spicy. So I was left without a sauce of my choice 2. Raw meats and seafood: Brisket, Teriyaki Chicken, pork chop, Shrimp, Squid… And some more exotic ones such as Gizzards, tripe, etc. Although I was very excited for the squid, it was marinated in a red sauce that was too spicy for my liking. The other sauces were lacking a bit of flavor too. 3. Fruit, oysters(saw a sign that said not to eat it raw as they cannot be responsible for it, but there were none that night), some sushi and sushi rolls(not the freshest but not bad for a buffet) and also a soft serve ice cream machine. They only changed our grill once after we asked for it. The restaurant is pretty big but in need of some updating. Overall, it has a good selection and there is no waiting for the meat since you can grab your own but not the best quality I have had.

Waitress’s were very helpful showing us how to cut meat correctly so we wouldn’t undercook. Place had a big selection of meats and the option to have all you can eat made it even better. Price is affordable. We would have preferred to have a round table for a group as big as ours and they didn’t have desserts. Regardless, we would recommend to family and friends.

My dad’s favorite Korean bbq place, but I’m not sure if we are going to go back anymore. It was $ 22 for a Sunday lunch! There are many other places that we could go to for Korean bbq for cheaper and better quality! If you like to go and get your own meat and banchans then this place is better than New Seoul BBQ Buffet. For sides I just had the marinated cucumbers, bean sprouts, spinach, and potato salad. Banchans here weren’t that good in my opinion. Was really forward to the potato salad, but it wasn’t like the ones you get at the other kbbq places. It was like cubed and not that sweet. Parents have always said if you have meat choices, always pick beef because it’s more expensive! Beef and seafood! We had boneless kalbi, bulgogi, and brisket mostly. Bulgogi was probably everyone’s favorite. Parents also had shrimp, squid, and mussels which I’m assuming they enjoyed. Service was good for us. Grill was changed when we asked. Water cups refilled. Empty plates taken away. They would come by and cut our meat up too. But still… not my choice of kbbq place to eat.

This place is possibly the worst place to dine, I would never recommend this place and I hope it gets immediate shut down. First off, the service crappy. The woman who sat me down didn’t tell us how the buffet works, she had a very unwelcoming voice, it is freaking Christmas Eve and families are dining here of all places, where is your compassion. My boyfriend and I were Christmas shopping and need a place to eat away our hunger. We sat down with no explanation of how the rules were and then we just got up and grabbed some food at the buffet. Everything was okay and what made it worse was when I took a tong to cook our Korean barbeque with. I did not see the sign that says«Do not touch» and proceeded to walk away. The woman who worked there grabbed the tong out of my hand, what was horrible about it was that I had a dislocated right elbow and broken collar bone. And she just grabbed it out of that hand furthermore putting me massive pain. The rudest waitress ever, please for the sake of safety and other peoples well being should this place be shut down. Hated it and would never come back. Horrible! Might need to go to the hospital cuz she just yanked it out of my hands, geeze give people a warning, it’s flippin America, we don’t treat people like that!

I came here on Wednesday with my boyfriend and I had to admit that it was bomb. Fast service, I didn’t have to wait in the line in order to be seated. I loved how they have seafood. It Was a bit pricey, but it worth it.

Alright man. AYCE kbbq like you never had before. I’m talking about get up from the table and grab your own meat type of experience. That’s what I’m talking about! I really like the concept here. I’ve been to GENKBBQ and I love it there too. What differentiates the two is that GEN does serve better quality meat. That being said, I like that this kbbq place let’s you get up and get your own things, whether it be banchan or more meat or whatever! And the ladies come by frequently to cut your meat and take dirty dishes away. My fave here was the squid. Yum. Octopus was good too. And mushrooms. But uhhhhh stay away from the shrimp, it’s so damn hard to peel. Hot tea is complimentary. And dinner on the weekends is $ 21.99 per person.

All you can eat KBBQ at a fantastic lunchtime price of $ 12.95. For dinners, it’s $ 17.95 and this place is cranking busy. The food is delicious! Tip: There’s a container of ponzu/jalapeño sauce near the salad bar on the counter that you MUST try with your unflavored/unmarinated meats. This sweet, sour, spicy sauce is a mainstay! Have it with your rice after you’ve dipped your meats. Otherwise I recommend the teriyaki chicken and the spicy pork chops. I could easily make a meal of these two items every single time. As for the service, these wonderful waitresses come by your table with scissors and cut up your selections, and make sure that your drinks are always topped off. If you’re coming in with high-expectations, you’ll consider this place average at best. This place is not 5-star material to look at. But when it comes down to the food, particularly the marinades on the meats, the food is excellent. Don’t write this place off on appearances!

Be more careful when you come in group. You could pay more than you are expected $ 50. Last night we have s group of 12 and 5 of us have drink. The price for dinner is $ 21.99 and drink is $ 2.5 each. Tip is 10% added by cashier. 8% tax. The correct amount should be $ 328 but the lady in the cashier(i though she is owner) gave us bill of $ 378. OMG… $ 50 more and she tried to calculate so fast and gave us bill. She was little bit angry when i requested her to re-calculate. After recheck she gave us back $ 50 in cash. My suggestion is when you are here with group. Better check the bill twice :)

This past weekend my friend went here and was looking at my review to read only to find that it wasn’t there. Huh, I thought I had written one for this… well here we go. I remember coming here with some my buds LT, H-diddy, and Lt’s sister Judy. There is absolutely no wait time at all. The place is really runned down on the outside but the interior is decent. Its a grab and go eat type of joint. You don’t wait for them to serve you the dishes, you go pick it up at the buffet aisle and then cook it yourself. So it was super weird when they demanded a bunch of tip at the end but thats for later. The meat is not bad actually. Its not the best kbbq joint I’ve been to but clearly not the worst(looking at you flower pig). I love the other options they have at the buffet area too. Its like a typical buffet place that just happen to specialize in kbbq. The watermelon was honestly the most memorable thing here. I have never in my life had watermelon so sweet. Other than that everything else was just ok. I probably wouldn’t be back… sike I might. 2.5

Eyyyy KBBQ. I could probably eat KBBQ every day of the week(current record is 4 times in a week!) and I love this place to death. I’ve never seen a wait during lunch(it’s only $ 12.95, not including soda) and the buffet is always well stocked. During my most recent visit, there was only one server on the floor and it was pretty busy. I was impressed though, she was very attentive with refilling our water and quickly assisted us when we asked for a grill change. In the past, I didn’t like the brisket here as much because it was tough but the quality has improved greatly! My favorites from the lunch buffet are the pork belly, brisket, squid, and baby octopus. Their banchan bar also has great variety and I love that they have miscellaneous side items such as tempura and fried rice. I’ve only been here for dinner once and it is a little pricey($ 20.99), but they have oysters and shrimp, as well as kalbi! You could easily eat your money’s worth if you’re into that stuff, I personally don’t enjoy oysters that much so I’ll just stick to the lunch buffet.

Went there today. Price is still $ 20.99 per person for dinner. Lots of seating on a Friday just before 6p, no wait time. I enjoyed the ribs without bones the most. My husband loved the pork chops and the salad bar. He went back for seconds. The waitresses circled the dinning area checking on all the tables and cutting our meats for us. They left us scissors at the table which made it easy for us to cut our meats into smaller bites. We will be coming back. It’s close to home and no wait time.

Keeping my rating the same as last time. Went back last week and here’s what’s changed: Pro: — Scissors at the table, yay… I can finally cut my own food — Service seems to be better. They are more attentive and come by often to refill water, check on you, etc. — Good galbi(short ribs) — Fresh rice paper — nothing annoys me more than dry old rice paper that cracks when you try to fold it Cons: — It’s 21.99 for dinner now — Salad is still sour. I don’t think it’s spoiled or anything, they might just be going overboard with the vinegar. Not sure if this is a Pro or Con: — You can now serve yourself on… paper plates? I’ve never been to a sit down restaurant where I ate off a paper plate, but I guess there’s a first time for everything? Conclusion: At $ 22 without tax and tip, there are cheaper places to eat like Shik Do Rak or GEN. I personally wouldn’t pick this place over the other two I just mentioned, but I wouldn’t be totally against eating here if somebody else wanted to.

Good food, quiet atmosphere, way too expensive. 21.99 and no drink included. You can get the same thing in k-town for $ 10! And it’s just as good, if not, better that this place.

We went to this restaurant for Mother’s day family gathering this year. As usual, parking was quite convenient. We were hungry so started bbq’ng brisket since it is the thinnest & cooks fastest. I have never realized thinly sliced brisket could be so tough to this degree! We moved onto something more hopeful, the famous Korean ribs(kalbi). In the history of all my visits to Korean bbq places, this was most tasteless and under marinated ribs ever… no joke. We received our bill, and she charged us for 3 sodas when we ordered 2. The bill was over $ 77 for two adults and one child… Soon after leaving this restaurant, I realized I didn’t have my cell phone with me. I remembered putting my phone down on top of the headrest that divided two seating area to show someone something on the FB. So we rushed back in attempt to retrieve the phone. I was there for less than two minutes and my son came in to tell me that my daughter had just called him to let us know that she had picked up my phone. We’ve been here since the 80’s when the business first opened. For the past ten years or so, the service and quality of food continued to decline. All I have to say is the waitress gave me a dirty look over the phone matter, and we will not be returning here. If someone suggests this place, I’ll be rerouting to elsewhere. After all, this is Korea town, and there are plenty Korean bbq places around. This place was once a fabulous restaurant, much before the Unilocal era. So sad.

Service was good. But wasn’t very pleased with the food. I usually just eat brisket, and theirs was really dry and seemed kinda old. We’ve had $ 10 ayce kbbq that tasted way better. This was $ 21.99 and wasn’t worth it. Won’t be back. ;( Waitresses were very helpful and nice. And they are the reason this place got 2 stars
