The condominium is not maintained well. Outside is okay but not the individual condos. We paid for a two bedroom but when we arrived we were told that they didn’t have any available and were forced to take the one bedroom. Not an enjoyable experience. Not recommended.

My husband and I stayed here over Thanksgiving. The condo we were given was very cute and clean. I loved the nautical décor. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but it was alright. It was nice to lay on the couch in the living room with the balcony open, listening to the ocean waves at night while I read. We used the hot tub and it was clean and an appropriate temperature. We did not use the beach access much, but what’s nice about it here is you don’t have to cross the street to get to the water, like you have to do from all the places along Sea Wall. It is more private and quiet here, which is exactly what I wanted. The staff was very professional and helpful, and offered a map and suggestions about what to see around the island. I was satisfied with my stay and would return.

This place sucks save your money and go somewhere that has class because they don’t! Everything here is rundown, used, broken, and dirty! This place deserves negative five stars! They need to close this crappy place!

This was a very disappointing experience for Galveston. The unit we rented was very outdated, no wifi, old TV’s except for one flat screen in the main bedroom. The weather was very cold and wet, so we really could have used some indoor entertainment with wifi and decent TV’s. We used a Groupon which ended up to be no bargain at all with all the added fees. There is no housekeeping service to change out towels or toiletries. Very disappointing rental. Will not return to this condo. Management appeared completely disengaged as well.

On our first day we arrive to check in where the office is at the Seascape Condos. The check in process was easy and greeted by the security guard. If lucky you will find a parking spot under the condo where it is shaded protected from the sun and rain. We were given a parking pass to place in the car and found a good spot underneath the condo. There is an elevator but it is very slow and hot. A small cart is available to help bring your items up to your room. You are give an actual key attached to a wrist band and upon entering the condo and it was very clean. A few light bulbs were burnt out and replace the next day. However the TV in the bedroom was dead, otherwise everything else in the condo was in working order. This room did not come with a WiFi connection and knew it did not so it was fine with me. The bed was comfortable and two twin bunk beds are present for kids. We brought our own paper products, bath towels, and other items like food and drinks which is a must for a rental condo. If you forget anything then a Walmart is nearby. The place consist of a large pool with spa, baby pool, adults only spa, charcoal BBQ pits, and swings. Since it is located on the beach you have easy access to it, and make sure to remember the code to get in the pool area and come back from the beach. There were a few who got stranded and helped them get in. Security is good where a security guard patrols the place 24⁄7 including a guy paid to watch the pool area on the weekend. The beach is another story for when walk out in the morning I saw bunny rabbits in the grassy areas, but the beach had a huge crop of stinky sea weed knee high. There no place to cross it and have to walk down the beach to get a shorter walk over this mess to get to the water. Too bad this part of the beach is fully cleared of it so we could set out chairs and enjoy it more. I was able to built a sandcastle but overnight it was trashed. You will also find no shells on the beach. At night I would avoid walking to the neighbor north of Seascape since there is a public parking lot and cars park there. In the morning I walked up there and found beer containers and a used condom along with cheesy graffiti sprayed on the sea wall. This is also the end of the southern part of the sea wall. Like most places on Sunday people check out and the place becomes vacant which is nice for it feels like your have the place to yourself. We regularly drove up to have lunch and see the Galveston sites. And then come back to hang out by the pool and swim. It is nice having a balcony with chairs and a table to enjoy the beach atmosphere. Checking out was easy and not a problem. Overall we had a great time despite the beach conditions(reason for low rating) and dead TV. I would recommend Seascape since it does have access to a beach without crossing a busy street. There are other larger condos and with have a WiFi connection, so make sure what your are getting.

DONOTCOMEHERE!!! Beach is covered in seaweed and we were told the reason it wasn’t cleaned is because the condo owners don’t want to spend the rent money to clean it! The trailer park and campers down the beach have a cleaner beach than us! This SHITTYFUCKING place won’t refund us our money either! AVOIDTHISCHEAPPIECEOFSHITPLACEATALLCOST!!!

We had a lovely stay at the seascape, minus a few things. When we arrived, we kicked our shoes off and noticed how dirty the floor was. The bottoms of our feet were black, I posted serval pictures of the stains we found on the beds & pillows. Someone didn’t seem to be doing their cleaning job very well.

I was planning my Galveston beach wedding last year all the way from Dallas, so I relied heavily on e-mail communications and phone conversations to get everything set up, and this included finding a good selection of hotels for ALL of my guests as everyone would be from out-of-town. I contacted probably every hotel on the Island for a group rate. I received a very nice e-mail from Robby [the only reason this place got an extra start from me] with a VERY reasonable per-night group rate. After several e-mails, I updated my wedding Web site with the information from SeaScape and spread the word about how my guests would be taken care of. This is where my happy story ends. Rather than being taken care of, my guests were taken for a ride. Two weeks before my wedding I had THREE guests call me on the same day to tell me that they were being charged DOUBLE what I was quoted due to an ungodly number of taxes and fees. I immediately e-mailed SeaScape with this information. Eric responded with a breakdown of the taxes and fees: Occupancy Tax of 15%(Added to Room Rate Only) Resort Fee Nightly HOA Trip Protection Insurance Damage Protection Departure Fee Indeed, with the dollar amounts per line item, the nightly rate doubled. I was also informed there was a MANDATORY two-night stay, another bit of information that was not arranged beforehand. I thanked Eric for his time and advised that I would NOT be referring my guests to SeaScape due to not only the complete lack of disclosure, but also due to the most ridiculous fees I’ve ever seen, even for a condo. That was the end. No apologies from Eric, no response of ANY kind from anyone else at SeaScape. Such a shame since I have visited them in the long-ago past and have fond memories of that childhood stay.

Great location, very well kept, good service. My only complaint is that check in is relatively late, and check out is very early. It made it so you almost lose a day, you can’t get to the beach fast enough the day you check in, can’t use the beach the day you check out. But the units are very well kept, centrally located, beach is clean and private, plenty of amenities. Parking is secure and plentiful. I had a lot of luck negotiating the price on VRBO, was essentially given one night free. Staff was also very friendly.
