We wrestled with Galveston Internet LLC with two of our vacation rental houses for roughly two years. They were miserably unreliable, as well as miserably dishonest. Trying to get one of the Quintons to respond to an emergency«the internet is down» is like trying to pull teeth. On more than one occasion, they pointed the finger at me/my equipment and took them over a week to grudgingly come out and fix their own equipment. They charged us once to fix their own stuff, charged us fraudulently without our knowledge, and last but not least, after our Internet was down for a week for the 4th time, I told them we no longer needed their service: Quinton Sr told me we wouldn’t get any money back because we didn’t have a contract with them. They snuck out onto our properties without our permision and took their equipment down, owing us well over $ 300, not to mention all the money we’ve had to refund to our customers because Galveston Internet could not deliver. Long story short, we switched to another company as soon as they were available in our areas, and we ditched Galveston Internet LLC and things could not be better. Avoid at all costs.

RUN, don’t walk away from this place! It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Seriously, Galveston Internet is awful. We have been burned twice by their«service» and we only tried them a second time because it was 3 years later and we hoped they had gotten it together. Didn’t happen. They still suck. Look at their BBB rating: it’s a big fat«F.» There are 4 complaints about their service that were never even responded to. I should have known better. Actual service is horrible. Customer service is non-existent. Quentin, «part owner,» is a crook. He might return your call if you are a potential new customer. If you ever have a problem, he will NEVER call you back and he won’t answer your calls. His minion, Shiela, is just as bad. They are running a circus, not a business. I have been screamed at, hung up on, lied to, berated, stalled, avoided, the list goes on. All because I want a refund on 1 week of service — $ 24.95, which I was never able to use. I’m sure they will run this place into the ground soon enough. The locals in Jamaica Beach seem to agree. I haven’t heard a single nice word about these two jokers. Save yourself some time, money and stress. Just sign up for Comcast or use a wi-fi hotspot. Whatever you do, don’t use Galveston Internet. Buyer beware. **UPDATE** I finally received a credit back from Galveston Internet. It only took about 20 phone calls since June 10th. I’m glad they did the right thing, but it was pulling teeth to get anywhere. It was very exhausting and time consuming to track these people down, follow up with them, keep track of my phone calls/messages, etc. Not worth the risk.
