The reason I give them a 4 star rating is because it took 5 minutes for anyone to address us with a menu it was a very slow day and it seemed like the owner and her staff just didn’t feel like serving us… i have read and heard the owner is prejudice but did not expect to experience this when I came in… Other than that the food was good… it may have been just a bad day for her or I could be overreacting but that’s how it made me feel…

In addition to our annual trip to Moody Gardens we always make it a point to return to Mi Abuelitas for breakfast. I cannot imagine that there are any entrée’s that would not be exemplary however I will opine on breakfast since that is my experience. The portions are more than sufficient… be prepared to carry some food away with you. The service is incredible, it’s prompt, attentive but not overbearing. I have had Migas, Huevos Rancheros, Chorizo con Huevos, Pancakes all of which were really amazing, cooked to perfection, well seasoned (or in the case of Pancakes well prepared). The salsa is quite good… no…excellent and the coffee as well. Given the portions, the cost is amazing to be quite frank. Do not miss this place or you will have missed one of the best dining experiences on the Island.

Holy Guacamole that was freaking delicious. Do not hesitate to go here, because it will blow your mind with its food. I am so impressed by the service, food and it is very clean (don’t mistake old for dirty). It may not be modern but it’s very clean, not even a dust bunny on a fan!
My family of 4 ate till we were bursting for LESS than $ 30.00
Run, don’t walk here.
