Chargrilled oysters is pretty darn good!
Ordered the seafood gumbo and the bacon wrapped shrimps with jalapeños with cheese, however when we were served there was no jalapeños in there and the cheese barely existed. I think the food here tastes really fresh and the service here is good too wish they actually had marketed that. Anyways parking is a bit tight around here and there is a service charge if you split the gumbo that’s why I took off a star.

Our waiter was very nice and helpful. We ordered 3 full size of fresh oyster, boiled fresh shrimp. Yummy!
Drinks: Craft beer， bloody Mary. Be careful the Bloody Mary, a little bitter.
Dessert: strawberry cake is wonderful, very fresh and not sweet like other too sweet cake. Then we order one more hot pudding. The pudding is really hot but delicious!
Dificiency：many sand in the oyster， they need more clean.

Ahhhh-​mazzzzing!!! Oooo, so good Oysters. Seriously. Our service was one of the best I have had in years! She was very attentive, fun and friendly. Whole atmosphere was great. The Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese dressing was fabulous. Gumbo is big, tasty and full of seafood.

Tried this place based on reviews. The atmosphere is bar like but trendy. You are very close with all the staff wherever you sit, you can see everything they are doing and they can see you.
I was looking forward to trying the gumbo, of course. Particularly, the seafood gumbo. I didn’t order the gumbo because it had an ingredient I didn’t want. However, my waiter failed to inform me that I could customize my gumbo and add/​take out anything I’d like. I found out later when I heard another waitress telling her customers.
I got the kettle shrimp and it was tasty but I was still hungry after. The bread was alright, would have been perfect if it was warm but it was cold. The fried okra was delicious.
I tried my boyfriends gumbo and it was alright, definitely NOT the best. Dessert was small and overpriced.
Overall, I would avoid going again.

Walked right in on a Sunday sat at the bar ordered soft shell crab po boy, jalapeños, bacon wrapped shrimp and gumbo. The soft shell crab was cooked perfectly crisp and delicious! The jalapeños were too spicy for me to try. I absolutely loved the bacon wrapped shrimp best I’ve ever had. It was my first time trying gumbo so I have nothing to compare it too but it was good! A must visit when in Galveston!
