It;s not Houston! This wine bar is as good as it gets in Galveston.

If I could give a zero I would. Horrible drinks! Awful prices for quality of drinks. Band was great, bar service did not make it worth returning EVERAGAIN!

This place has gotten awesome since new ownership has taken over! The owners of Rudy & Paco’s just bought 21 not too long ago and now the place has a good vibe again. Stop by for a cocktail or four after dinner on Postoffice Street in Galveston.

Cool little place with a very louungey atmosphere on the island. I made it here with a group of friends around mindnight on a Saturday and it was pretty full. $ 9 for a Grey Goose martini isn’t terrible, so it was pretty much standard prices, plus the martini was great and they obliged my three olive request. The cover band was a little weird, singing Justin Beiber covers, but I can look beyond that. It was a good place to sit down, chat, and have a few cocktails before turning in for the night.

I have heard about this place for years but apparently the last two times we have been there, it has been on off nights in terms of crowd. After dinner on a Friday night, we headed over for a few drinks and some live music but the place was sans music for some reason. The place is kind of a casual upscale with a three-sided square bar area and comfortable chairs to lounge in elsewhere. I like my bars dark, and 21 obliged. The drinks were generous with the liquor and the atmosphere was pleasant. On the second night we came,(maybe a Thursday night) there was a psychedelic duo playing drums and guitar. Extremely entertaining, very gulf coast. I look forward to coming back in the summer when the things are a little more lively!

This is a decent little bar in Galveston worth checking out. It is right next to the cigar shop so you’ll get some smoke in here. Unfortunately, it isn’t very well ventilated so the smoke just lingers lowdown. The bartender was incredibly friendly and recommended a pretty decent wine. The prices were reasonable and even though we were there pretty early, there still quite the crowd. I think the winning factor for this place comes from the décor. There are cute little nooks to cuddle up with a hot date, a nice bar with a chatty bartender, and plenty of tables to group together and have a party. There’s only one bathroom per gender which could cause a bottleneck if it got busy, but it probably wouldn’t be a problem most of the time. This is definitely a place to check out if you’re looking for a chill place to hang out and get a drink.
