If I could give it zero stars I would. Went here on Valentine’s night and asked if they had a «togo option» and they said yes. I ordered my food and they gave it to me on a normal«plate» so I basically had to make it to go myself. Staff(cooks & lady who was giving out the food) were very weird/rude/loud. But that’s not even the best part. I have literally been sitting over the toilet for the past 2 days due to food poisoning from this establishment. Thanks a lot Fuddruckers for my awesome Valentine’s day gift! NOT!

I have been to Fuddruckers all across the country, and as I expected, this location did not disappoint. The buffalo burger, was lean, and delicious! Unfortunately my fun experience was short lived. As I went to the second floor to use the restroom, I saw sitting at a booth, a fully sized crocodile, with red eyes and a la kings uniform, eating the«fish and chips». He was blaring a song called«Acid Rap» and as soon as he saw me, he made one of the widest grins that I have ever seen. I love the food, and atmosphere of this restaurant, but due to this horrifying creature, I regret to say that I shall not be returning.

My wife and I walked in a few days ago and ordered the 1⁄3 burger basket special with fries since a huge color banner is posted on the fence. The Manager heard us from across the room and stated«we are out of the 1⁄3 burger patty» would you care to order the ½ lb basket. I stated«why don’t you take the sign down advertising the 1⁄3 burger basket» that traffic and foot traffic see in the STRAND. I was told most folks«just order the ½ lb burger basket». This is a classic bait and switch and its no wonder the place was absolutely dead at 12:10PM. We left and went to a place the Policeman recommended called«The SPOT»…and it was wonderful and less expensive with a view of the water. Terrible customer service and we will never eat there again.

We were the tourist, and my girlfriend wanted to eat there. I figured it would be just another burger chain but it was the best burger I have had in a long time. The service was good and we will come back next year.

Fuddruckers boasts the greatest burger. I got one and found it to be sub-par. All this place is is a nice fast food joint. Yet, I would rather have a burger from Sonic or DQ any day. The Fuddruckers burger was bland, as though it was not seasoned at all. I liked the fries, at least. Perfectly crunchy. The place was a bit loud too, not because of the customers. I find no reason to ever return to Fuddruckers. Average food, okay atmosphere. Boringgg.

First experience here was terrible: we showed up at 7pm on a Saturday and were turned away at the door because they were closed??? The next two times I’ve been were great, especially my most recent trip! Very friendly staff and delicious food! I’ve just learned to come during lunch hours and not close to dinner.

I usually like eating here, but will no longer go. My girlfriend and I were walking in a observed three of the kitchen cooks sitting on the patio smoking cigarettes. Walking in and choking on cigarette smoke was not what I really wanted before enjoying a burger, especially coming from a cook. While we were looking at the menu deciding what to order we observed the three cooks enter the restaurant and watched them, hoping to see them all go wash their hands before they returned to the kitchen but they didn’t, they immediately returned to the kitchen. We even saw one of the cooks drop his cigarette on the ground outside and then pick it up and throw it. We decided not to eat there and instead went next door to Yagas where we had great food and service at the bar by Brittany!

It is in a great location near the strand and pier 21. Our visit this time was really awful. They were not staffed for a Saturday in the summer. Long long wait times, condiments empty, out of a lot of menu items and the staff was incredibly rude. I would definitely find somewhere else next time.

Stood at the counter for a long time and didn’t get any service. Employees walked back and forth several times and just ignored us.

Fuddrucker’s is in a great spot in Galveston, located on the Strand and having great views of the Galveston Channel. The best view is from the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor is significantly hotter than the 1st floor, although this is where the bathrooms are hidden. There is free parking in the back but this is not advertised very well outside of the restaurant. Overall, a great family-friendly place in Galveston with $ 10 meals and great views.

I usually like it here, but I was not impressed tonight. My burger was peppery and my fries were dry and crumbly. I had delicious sweet tea, but other than that it was a lackluster experience.

It was as expected and conveniently located while visiting the strand. Food could be hotter but burger was above average.

The food is great here. The one thing that I noticed as a negative aspect of our visit is that it very difficult for those who are handicaped or have mobility issues. We couldn’t find a way in to this Fuddrucker’s for my wheelchair bound father. We walked pretty much around the building to try to find The ramp that is sometimes built. No luck. One of us ended up going up the stairs & asking if there was an access for wheelchairs. They came out and escorted us to the side/rear where there is a handicap«lift» just enough room for a wheelchair. Management-please note: There should be some kind of signage notifying patrons to contact the host/hostess if your handicaps and require to be packed into their people freight elevator. I guess it just the style around this part of town. The streets are the same way… cobblestone sidewalks & crosswalks, no curb cut outs for tho use who have walking problems. Twice Dad almost got tossed out, pitched forward because of the cracks and cobblestone separations and the small front wheels getting jammed into the uneven surfaces.

Love the burgers here. The place is clean & never crowded which I LIKE. The homemade bread is to die for. And the fries & cheese is the bomb :) You also get a coupon every time you check out for your next meal. Not expensive at all. Burger, fries & drink is a little over $ 8. Can’t beat that! Oh, and the staff is super nice too. Always smiling & they don’t bug you while your eating.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for our wedding reception since we were having a retro wedding. We talked with them about two months and advance and the manager was very co-operative and assured us he would do everything to make our night special. Even when we had to change the date twice they were accommodating of our change of plans. The night before my mother in law was able to take our cake and they allowed us to keep it in the freezer over night. The day of our wedding the staff helped my family prepare the decorations before our ceremony and my mom said they were super helpful before then. Even during the reception they were always helping with either decorations and refilling the food since we chose the buffet for our guests. They’re were so fun and polite, something that’s not always seen at restaurants anymore. I loved this place so much, it reminds me of our special day now and I highly recommend it for large parties. We probably had about 100 guests and the total for that was surprisingly not as much as we had expected at all! We certainly saved so much with choosing Fuddruckers then if we were to have had to rent a hall, table and chairs, caterer, etc. we want to thank the whole staff for such friendliness and to the general manager who made our day very special and memorable. :)

I like options, and Fuddruckers has just what I’m looking for: a buffalo(bison) burger option and a gluten free bun option. These are big burgers on big buns with lots of fries. They have a «fixin’s» bar where you can load up your burger with whatever you want and however much of it you want to eat. There is a nice outdoor space on the third floor. Take the stairs or the elevator up there and you have nice view of the Port of Galveston and especially the cruise ships!

Fuddruckers has reopened downtown in a space it occupied prior to Ike. We stopped by recently on a Saturday evening when looking for an easy and inexpensive dinner. The place is spacious with three dining levels, including a bar on the second floor and outdoor patio on the third. You just place your order downstairs, determine your preferred eating location, settle in, and wait to be buzzed when your food is ready. Fare is from a simple menu of standard burgers(you get to choose how large), dogs and so forth, with a fresh bar for condiments. The place isn’t fancy but prices are reasonable and it’s very family-friendly. Here’s the best part, and one of the best kept secrets in Galveston: the patio on the third floor. To be honest it was our primary reason for going there. So we took a couple of excellent draft beers and went up to the patio to wait for our order. It is beautiful up there and one of the primo views on the island, overlooking the port and downtown with distant glimpses of the Gulf. As it was evening the building shaded the patio and there was a lovely breeze. Burgers were soon ready. They were big and juicy and the large order of onion rings was so tasty that we wished we’d ordered more. Overall, it is a fabulous venue that needs to be enjoyed more often. Go check it out for yourself!

Just went here for the first time since they’ve reopened in Galveston. I had a coupon for a 1⁄3 lb burger, fries, and drink for $ 7. I thought it was a decent deal. When I got my food, the patty wasn’t even the same size as the bun! The bun was as I remember, very good. I was very disappointed in the size of the meat. Maybe it’s because I got the smaller burger. Maybe they should have smaller buns. The fries were decent, I like the spices they put on them. They also have those crazy coke machines here that have hundreds of flavors. It was an OK, experience but I don’t know if I will be back.

My first time ever to a Fuddruckers. It was a decent experience. Wasn’t too busy, probably 5 – 7 tables. They had lots of seating on different levels for the busier nights. I got a bacon cheeseburger, my boyfriend got the works, and my dad got a veggie burger. They forgot a few toppings on my boyfriend’s burger but that was easily fixed when we took it back to the counter. Since this was my first time, I don’t know if this is true all the time, but their onion rings are very peppery. Ok food, ok service, ok place.
