Dawn Donuts

Stopped here for breakfast and I’m glad we did! Fresh croissants and donuts at a great price. Will definitely be returning when we come back to Galveston.

To our surprise they were open on Christmas. We stopped to get a couple as we drove around seeing the sea wall. we each got one… should’ve got more. It’s a very home town kind of donut. Nothing fancy just fresh. The apple fritters were crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. The glazed donuts tasted like pillows from heaven. They did have some breakfast sandwiches that also looked good. We stopped around 10:30 so it was snack time not breakfast. The counter guy was very friendly and patient as we all picked out our individual donuts. The prices were inexpensive. Glazed was .60 each and the fritters were $ 1. They did have real half and half for your coffee in case that is important to you. It’s right down the street from the entrance to Stewart Beach… get a couple dozen and go to the beach!

Maple bar was very small and cost 1.18 for an 80 cent donut! Donut was good, but not worth the price

Fast service! Great local donut and kolache place! The people that work there are very welcoming and nice! There kolache a are fresh and their bread soft and fluffy! Looking forward to coming back again!

They greet you warmly and welcome you inside their store and show they care about their customers by taking the time to ask how you are. On top of all that, they have fast service! If I’m ever here in Galveston again, I know where to get my kolaches & donuts.

Went here this morning with my brothers because they were craving donuts! The guy up front was very friendly and they said the donuts were amazing and very fresh:) Definitely a good place for an early donut! They also have other great breakfast food! Good prices too! Give it a try if you are a donut person!

Very good and reasonably priced. My son and I just had a breakfast taco, sausage and cheese kolaches, cinnamon roll, donut twist and 2 milks for $ 10. Definitely recommend this place.

The people who work here are so thankful for your business and it really shows. If you go in right before close they will offer you what they have left at a discount. :)

Donuts were so good!!! I got there right before they closed and she offered me all the donuts for 5 bucks! Like over 2 dozen! I didnt take them just because it was only me and they would go to waste. But the glazed donuts are so good and warm! Small place but worth the drive there. Should try it ! They stuff I saw looked good will be going back!
