Average bar food with basic drink options. Big space with lots of seating with a private room in the back with plenty of games (darts, pool, shuffle board)
Service was a little tough because it was so busy and they didn’t have much staff running around.

Had the buffalo wings and ended up being sick all night. Will NOT go back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I love their burgers and their beer selection (bottles). The sweet potato fries and dip are killer… We always get good service and enjoy the experience. Food prices are low and they offer something for everyone.

I would totally go here again — if this was only a bar ranking it would be 5 out of 5. Darts, Pool, games, etc — cold beer, lots of TV’s — friendly staff. Its great.
The Grill side could be improved.

Usually when my family goes to sidetrack I have nothing but good things to say however today’s visit was not so great. We ordered an appetizer and waited and waited and waited for it. About 25 minutes later the waitress comes and says that they lost our order and we had to put it back in. The waitress seemed like she was nice but we didn’t see her enough to make a judgement. Very upset by this trip. The waitress never came to our table other than to bring out food. She never checked on us never refilled our drinks. She didn’t even bring our check. Very disappointed this trip

The first couple of times my husband and I went in here the food was good we just got basic things like pizza or a burger
Our last three visits the food is progressively getting worse.
Yesterday I thought I’d give it one more shot and I took my daughter in
I ordered fish and chips on the menu at stated you get a salad and homemade chips
Your chips were from a bag
And the fish breading tasted like it had cinnamon in it.
When I asked for a salad with my entrée is the menu stated the waitress that if you want one
The service was bad the food was worse
Are better places to eat in Galesburg

Great spot for lunch during the week. Good soups and sandwiches and nice atmosphere.

Best wings in the Burg without any discussion. Monday evening watching a game with wings (try their special honey mustard sauce: phenomenal!) and a draft beer became a «tradition» very fast! Nice staff is the icing on the cake!

Do you like Wings? Do you want to avoid large chain restaurants? Do you like beer? If you answered yes to all three of those questions Sidetrax is the place for you!
Obviously I don’t live in the area, but I have friends that do and when we visit this has quickly become one of my favorite spots to eat. Now, I’ve only been there twice, and both times I ordered wings. They have some of the best wings I’ve had. I’m especially fond of their Golden Fire sauce; great flavor and not too hot (according to my tastes, others would disagree but they’d be wrong.) I would say the next time I went I’d get a burger, but I do love me some wings and I doubt I could pass them up! The other nice thing is that they have a fairly good craft beer selection. It’s not as large as other places, but it’s still large enough that any beer snobs out there should be able to find something to their liking.
The atmosphere is that of an American Bar. It’s not dive bar material, but it’s not quite up to Sports Bar either. It’s kind of in between. It was clean, but it had an older, dated feel to it.
The service both times I went was excellent. I never had any trouble getting service and never had a complaint. The staff was friendly and kind and never caused any trouble. In fact one time when I was in there some locals started causing trouble and the staff quickly and efficiently handled it before it got out of hand.
If you are in the Galesburg area, or just driving by on the interstate and want to get something to eat that’s not a chain. I’d give Sidetrax a try. Trust me, you could do much worse.

Good service and atmosphere. Ordered an Italian beef sandwich that was really bland and dry, quite disappointing.
