This is the worst dang Taco Cabana ever. And that’s saying something. Got the order wrong, they didn’t give a receipt, won’t answer the phone, the food is horrible, and missing some food. $ 34 down the gosh-darn drain. This place is always horrible. Been here like 10 times over the past 3 years. Always someone else’s idea. From now on I’ll let the others eat it and go to the cortton-pickin gas station to get a freaking hot dog.

I requested a manager 2x and refused to come out. I also called corporate and refused to take resposibility. I called Frisco dept of health.

I ordered the chicken fajita nachos. As i pulled up to the window i noticed that one of the employees was refilling the chips. What made me want to drive away was the fact he was throwing them in the holder with his bare hands. Completely unsanitary and upset me. Then the drive through guy hands me the food with the container vertical basically causing cheese to ooz it of the bag. Horrible just plan horrible. I threw those nachos away.

My wife and I went there for dinner. The clerk was friendly and the service was quick. However there was a lady on the outdoor patio dining area that was letting her kids jump on the table tops and walk on the brick half wall and did nothing to stop them. Then another lady came in with three kids and she allowed hers to do the same thing. They were also running in and out of the restaurant to the salsa bar mixing the different items. The two parents did nothing to control their kids at all. I then complained to the female clerk and told her to get the manager out to stop this. She went inside and the manager never came out. Then the second lady that had shown up, her husband arrived. He did nothing to stop his kids from their outrageous activities either. Do parents allow their kids to jump and walk on tables at their homes like this and to mix the items at the salsa bar? We were shocked. Management never came out to even look and see what the issue was. And I am sure if one of these tables fell over or one of these kids fell off the brick wall the parents would file a lawsuit claiming the manager of this restaurant and the restaurant itself was liable. We will not be back if this is the type of people who live in this area that cannot control their kids and make them behave.

The customer service at this location is poor. They don’t speak unless you do and barely even then. The street tacos were trash the meat was not cooked completely. Very disappointed

Dishonest. I wouldn’t pay attention to Taco Cabana in a review normally… but people need to be aware they should avoid this restaurant… ordered a chicken fajita family meal went through drive thru, after waiting five minutes at the window, clerk came to window and I paid for it, and after clerk says you’ll need to wait 10 – 15 minutes for the chicken because we are cooking it but we gave you a discount. I said why not just give me another option like steak instead of a discount? Coming home on a work night you appreciate prompt service and honesty, you will find neither at this location

Eh. Will not be coming back here. To sit inside at least. My husband is currently standing at the counter waiting on food bc it’s been about 15 min already. This is a fast food place correct? Not clean either. I’m sticking to the floor. I love their food but my advice is to stick to the drive thru if you’re making a visit. Oh, and you can eat at Blue Goose down the road for cheaper. Same amount of wait time for food but may have had to wait to sit down. One bright spot: Mexhie, our cashier. He was great :)

Horrible Horrible Horrible. I love Taco Cabana, but this location is terrible. Last straw was this past weekend. Went with my daughter. Slow line to order. Only 2 clean tables in the whole dining area. Floor was trashed out too with food. Condiment bar was EMPTY of cilantro, pico and jalapenos. A couple of employees came out, looked around and returned to the back never to be seen again. Didn’t refill condiment bar the whole time I was there. Will not go back to this one again!

Slow, dirty and needs new management and an overhaul of staff! I’ve visited this location 3 times and this one will be my last for sure. I love Taco Cabana, but this location is THEWORST! When we entered we waited and waited for a cashier, then waited for for our food. Once it was ready it sat in the window; I finally went and got it. The condiment bar was virtually empty and it required prompting by two different customers before it was SLOWLY refilled. The one at Preston & Lebanon will be my «go to» stop from now on!

If I didn’t love their breakfast tacos so much, I wouldn’t go. The morning drive thru is absolutely horrid. I ordered and then sat for 20 minutes waiting behind someone who hadn’t gotten their food and then waited another 10 for mine.

Help, I need an intervention for the chicken flautas. I can’t pass a Taco Cabana without stopping to get an order and this occasion was no exception. We stopped in the drive through after a day at a water park so we were ravenous. The flautas were perfectly cooked to crispy perfection and I ordered them with zesty sour cram and creamy queso. It hit the spot.

Zero stars. This Taco Cabana is such a shame to the franchise name. I had a horrible experience here about a month ago when I ordered a huge order of fajitas for family in town visiting. Got home and more than half our order was wrong. Was so upset over the poor attitude and lack of concern from the worker, that I took it all back and demanded a refund. Decided tonight to give them one more try. Shoulda known better. First they were out of flautuas, annoying, but forgivable. Had a basic order of tacos with chips and queso. Again, made it all the way home with NOQUESOORCHIPS! Over it.

I gave the TC on Preston 5 stars, but this was a very different experience. The chips were stale as well as the taco shell. I do not return food so I am kind of stuck with it. That’s a personal choice. The other two things that were very different from the other location that I had tried is the staff were stereotypical fast food people with the attitude that they hate life and this may be the pinnacle of their career. Secondly, and more critical was this place needed a good scrubbing, but I would not recommend using the dirty dish towel that was on the floor next to the salsa bar and other trash that needed to be picked up.

BEWAREOFTHISPLACE! Going in around dinner time, service was slow, but the kitchen was an absolute mess. There were tortillas all over the floor and I saw 3 employees pass over and not even try to clean it up. Next I saw a woman cutting fajitas, with NO gloves. Not to mention it took 10 minutes for anyone to know I was there, but I walked out pretty quickly seeing this train wreck! This place is HORRIBLE.

I am not really a fan of fast food texmex and this location doesn’t help. Went through the drive thru and ordered fajita nachos and sopapillas. The line was moving rather slowly and when I got to the window, my order took another 15 min. Watched as the guy DROPMYSOPAPILLASONTHEGROUNDANDPROCEEDTOPICKTHEMUPANDPLACETHEMINMYBAG! Who does that? Taco Cabana that’s who. Demanded my money back and left. Taco cabana, please get it together. Being unsanitary in the food service is NOT cool.

It was exciting to have a new Taco Cabana in the area, but I’m starting to agree with the other reviewers on here. Went in for dinner the other night, they seemed understaffed as there was nobody at the cashier. When my food came out, she said to be careful because it just came out of the fryer. I appreciated the warning, however the puddle of grease running down the paper in the basket was warning enough for me. Less than pleased with this visit, seems to be sliding downhill.

Nice to have a brand new TC close to home. The food was just like all the others; good taste, made to order, and plenty of choices. The salsa bar was kept clean and each salsa nicely labeled. I liked the dining room at this location. It has several dining tables both indoor and outdoor. I almost like this dining space better than some of the others around me and the outside patio felt larger. Unlike the other two reviewers here, we had a good experience both with food and service. If we want a quick meal, we will likely return.
