I often came here before work right across the street. The cashier was always friendly, except this one time. But it was only once out of possibly a hundred now. I love their food, but love the managers for some reason. They’re always generous and friendly. When they made an excess of my/friend’s drink they always give it to us. I just came back from out of town(attending college) and it still just as friendly! They said it would take 15 minutes for our pot stickers because they just ran out. However, they apologized sincerely(even when I was not bothered at all) and they also gave out a free drink.

Even after my unpleasant expirence from awhile ago, I have decided to try it out again… I am please to say that the food had made a complete 180° turn around! The food is excellent, and in my opinion some of the best fast Chinese food in town. The Mongolian SanYan is a definite must! Unfortunately I cannot give it 5 stars still… As good as the food is, it does not make up for the complete lack of customer service. I would consider myself a «frequent flyer» here, and EVERY time I order my food I have to battle with the cashier… I always get the same thing every time, and somehow someway the cashier always makes me feel like an idiot for ordering steam vegetables… customer service is a huge and crucial part of a resturant, and this place has NONE! Overall the food is delicious, but the cashiers are horriable…

I love the peach tea boba here! The strawberry slush is also very good — not syrupy like other places. I like how you can customize your drink in terms of sweetness and amount of ice. They also have great lunch specials that you can take advantage of. The food is hit or miss though… I’ve ordered some pretty good entrees but also some that were not very good. That usually happens when I deviate off the lunch special menu so I just stick with the lunch specials. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick Chinese meal.

I try to eat here at least once a week between my night classes since you get a lot of food for a good price and because of it’s close proximity to Clovis Community College. The staff are always nice and welcoming. Sometimes it can be loud but only for a minute or two then it’s back to a quieter tone. The food, where do I even start? Everything is good! The noodles, fried rice, even the soups and beverages. A good place to be all the time!

They brew the milk teas right in front of you, my favorite place in town for a Jasmine green tea milk with boba!

Mongolian San yan! It’s a trio of chicken, beef and shrimp! It is good and get most of the time! Only downfall is that it can be a little salty! Our sons like the orange chicken!

Generous portions and food was good. The pot stickers were amazing as were the egg rolls. The pan fried noodles are fairly crispy. The twice fried noodles allow the addition of a protein but in turn are no longer crispy

Good place for take out. Generally the food is quite good. The veggies are fresh, not over cooked and the meat is of a good quality. I am a regular. It does not appear to be a comfortable place to sit and dine. And, on several occasions the shrimp has not been fresh.

This place is very reasonably priced and extremely fast… We ordered 5 plates and got the food fresh literally within 3 minutes. The food was seasoned just right and it was very fresh. I love this place!!!

Didn’t much care for their food. Their chow mein has some spices I don’t care for and a lot of cabbage. Shrimp was on the slimey side. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m updating because I ordered food the other day and I thought it was really good. I liked all the vegetables they put in the veggie fried rice and the spicy eggplant had a lot of flavor. I had another girl help me and she had good customer service. It’s just the older woman that’s rude…

I haven’t been back here in years until recently. Unfortunately, it seems like the drinks have gone down in quality. I ordered the green milk tea and I’ve already forgotten what my brother ordered, but we both agreed that neither drink was particularly worth finishing. I’m really sad because I remember when they first opened up. I really loved their green milk tea back then and it was pretty much my go to place. Unfortunately, at this point, I don’t think I’ll be coming back again, especially with all the new boba places that have popped up in recent years.

My review is for the bubble tea and solely for that alone, and to be honest I was pleased enough. So I went in the evening to order their large or 24oz house bubble milk tea(a.k.a boba tea) and it took them like probably 3 – 4 minutes to get it done. The cashiers was nice and decent, cost me about $ 3.80 with boba/pearls. The tea itself tasted great, the black tea used was not too strong(might taste watered down for most) and had a very neutral taste, no fragrant floral tea taste off course(so if you like that I would suggest taipei 101 as an alternative), was very generous in portion and did not have too much ice unlike other places. Sweetness wise it was not overly sweat, actually perfect sweetness for me(they actually use brown sugar syrup made in house-very auntehtic), however for those who enjoy ultra sweet boba you might hate it and please be warned. The milk used, is probably powder milk and not fresh milk, I actually liked it because this is how its done in taiwan and others parts of south east Asia. I really love the touch of the plastic sealed boba cups, because this is how boba is authentically done and sealed, not plastic covers like other places. Overall the boba was really decent and authentic to the origin. The store was clean and inviting and not tacky at all, and their ordering style is deli, so its an order-pay-and food will be delivered to table, somewhat like panda express but better. I would definitely be back to try their other boba drinks and also their food here.

Out of all the Chinese places I’ve been to in fresno, this would be one of the last places I’d go to. But it’s also the closest to my house, so I’m torn… The food is not that great. Sometimes it’s okay, and sometimes it’s terrible. The best thing I’ve had from this place is the slushies.

I’ve just moved to an apartment complex really close to this restaurant and I gotta say… this place is alright! I wasn’t expecting too much. I’ve had their daily specials numerous times. It’s a good value. You get a cup of fried rice, an egg roll, the daily meat, and plain noodles under it. I especially like the House Special Chicken and Orange chicken, probably my faves. The boba is only all right. I am a boba fiend and I’ve had my share of awesome boba, particularly in the Bay Area. The milk tea is always my go to, and the boba’s consistency wasn’t as chewy, and the tea didn’t taste too fresh. I’ve been meaning to try their Mango Green Tea, so we’ll see how that goes. But if the boba isn’t good, it’s not gonna help a good green tea. Overall, this place is A-Ok. I still give it a thumbs up for the value you get for the daily specials! $ 6.25 for a pretty satisying meal?! C’mooooon now!

I only came here because a friend suggested it as an «okay» supplement to Asian food to satisfy our craving while in Fresno! At a first glance, it looks like a Panda Express but more like Sam Woo in the style of serving the foods. You can order it and eat there or take it as takeout. The wait was really fast They have daily specials that is a combination of a main entrée with an egg roll and chow mein and rice which is very cheap, but the quality of food is not that great for $ 5 – 6 Boba: absolutely terrible. Very hard and not sweet. For those of you that have a boba craving, I highly suggest Pearl Tea House on Shaw instead Milk tea: very watered down and not milky at all, which contradicts the purpose of ordering a milk tea. I could kind of tasted some tea, but it was so watered down, it was like drinking badly flavored tea water –10% off next drink if you save the lid! Taro milk tea: very thick, which I like, but also very powdery –10% off next drink if you save the lid! Hot and sour soup: a semi-thick gooey mixture with very limited amount of pork, bamboo, egg, and the black mushroom. They also have large slices of onions in it which I find very odd and not traditional of this soup. It wasn’t spicy at all! However, it was only around $ 6 and was served in a fairly large bowl. Can serve 4 – 5 people Chicken fried rice: the rice was decent. Kind of hard to mess up fried rice. However, the chicken was white, dried strips of chicken breast, which isn’t consistent of how Asian chicken fried rice is. Was served in a small Chinese take out box l!!! :( Beef chow fun: pretty decent and was probably my favorite from there. Okay for SoCal, but good for Fresno Pros: –very large serving of soup for it’s price –daily specials is super cheap –fast serving –gave us three fortune cookies! –10% off next drink if you save the lid! Cons: –low quality of food –hard boba –teas are made with powder –rice was served in a small Chinese takeout box

The restaurant itself is very clean and fairly spacious(read: not the size of a closet like I expected an «express» Chinese food place to be). The décor is modern and the kitchen area is open so you can see your food and drinks being made in front of you. I have yet to try the food but it looks like they serve generous portions of a wide selection of items for a moderate price. What I’ve been coming here for is their drinks. I was craving a boba/jelly drink and this establishment seems to be the only place in NE Fresno that serves them. Albeit the fact that I think they’re made from a powder, the milk teas are still really good! Not entirely up to par with the drinks I’m used to from the Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento but judging on the options in the area, beggars can’t be choosers. FYI: –Boba and jelly cost an extra 25 cents each. –If you bring back the paper top of your drink, you get 10% off your next purchase!
