We have been very happy with Bullfrog! My 5-year-old daughter started out unwilling to go in the pool, but the end of 10 lessons she couldn’t wait to go to her lesson and was swimming on her own. I like that the company is a happy medium between coddling and too harsh. The instructor spent five lessons being firm with my daughter, but also caring, and she finally had a breakthrough and began to enjoy swimming. It is an excellent option for beginning swimmers! I always had a prompt response when I have left a message, or a response within the same day when I e-mailed. The hotel pool was always adequately warm(very important for encouraging little ones to get in the water) and we could do early spring lessons to get ready for summer.

My 2 year old son got his swim lessons from bullfrog this past summer. First, It’s amazing how they call it a company when no one ever answers the phone. Second, they promote children being able to save themselves after only 10 lessons. In fact, they say to bring your child fully clothed during the last session so he/she can be taped«saving» himself. My son’s instructor didn’t even know it was his last session. I signed him up for 20 lessons with same instructor. After about the 8th session, he was bored to death! He would even want to get out of the pool before the 30min was over. The lessons did not advance at all!!! Same back and forth swimming between the instructor and another person(usually Dad). His teacher kept telling us she was their«top instructor» and when we asked how long she has been with the company, she said 2 months! Really? Top instructor and only been doing this for 2 months? And third is the same teacher who canceled/called in 3 sessions. One, 15 min before the lesson. Yes, they made up the lessons, but still excessive and unprofessional! I wanted to go with this other company, but they were booked. The only thing I liked about this company is that they can do the lessons at your home if you have a pool. That was a huge convenience! I posted on their Facebook page and asked how they would advance their lessons. Instead of answering my question, they deleted my post! SMH. That says it all! Do your research before signing up your child and spending $ 325! I would NOT recommend this company!!!
