Horrible online ordering service, 3 times I have made an order online and 3 times they got it wrong, the fries have been burn 2⁄3 times, and it’s jus annoying they are so careless, young immature staff and illiterate at that since they can’t read an order right. Pretty annoying

Burgers are great. I really enjoy everything here. The customer service of one of the employees was terrible, very very rude. There was a hair in my burger so I took it out. And went to the front to let them know there was a hair in my burger. The lady looked at me like a deer in the headlights like its never happened before. And gave me a smart ass remark, saying we have to fire up a new one. Learn how to work in a restaurant shit happens! I’ll come back because I love the food. But I’ll remember you!

Decent burger, but great seasoning and customer service. As far as hamburgers go, this burger has some high points: fresh bun, excellent condiments, and it’s seasoned well. The patty is just okay. Kinda tough and seems like a standard frozen burger. The fries were crispy and tasty, although they did seem fairly standard. The strawberry limeade was delicious paired with the iced tea. It was an unusual Arnold Palmer flavor but I liked it! The customer service here is very friendly and responsive. They put down fries for the kids meal that I ordered, even though I ordered apple sauce. When I saw the order and told them they added the apple sauce no questions asked. Super friendly and lots of staff cleaning the place even though it was a slow night. They pour on the soft serve ice cream for the $ 1.00 cone. Great deal. Overall, a nice alternative to some other burger options. It will make its way into my rotation.

The burger here is really something different. I’m amazed how they get the buns so crispy! Definitely worth a try!

Kind of a bad experience here… I ordered a BBQ chicken salad with no bacon and when my order was called, I clearly could see the bacon bits although it could’ve easily been missed against the BBQ sauce. I returned the salad and the cashier had the kitchen remake it for me and said that she would bring it to my table. The second time around I double checked, didn’t see any bacon and began eating. Within a few bites in, I heard and felt a crunch. There were still many bits of bacon at the bottom of the tray leading me to think maybe they picked out the bacon instead of remaking the salad for me. At this point I was done so I gave the salad back but did not want them to make me another. It just seemed to be a lack of respect for my specific request. Wish I would’ve had a better experience.

This is the first time I’ve been to this location, but it’s comparable to the other one in San Mateo. First of all, one thing I noticed during my visit this week was the price hike. It’s not ~$ 7 – 8 for a burger meal that comes with a burger, fries, and a drink now. It used to be $ 5. Darn, that was one of the best things about going to here, great food at a decent price. But I got to try a few new items this visit. My go-to are the burgers! I’ve gotten the regular char burger and the teriyaki burger. Once in a while, I’ll get it lettuce wrap if I want to go low-carb, and it comes out great. Their ingredients are really fresh and tasty. Their fries are always hot and crispy. Tempura string beans are awesome! Great flavor and totally worth the additional cost to upgrade. Sweet potato fries are good, but similar to what you can get in other places. Overall, great place to get hot and fresh burgers where it’s not considered a sit-down restaurant like Red Robins. It’s still good to dine-in, but the food comes out quick. The location is a little smaller than others, as there weren’t as many empty tables to choose from on a busy Saturday lunch.

This place seems to be a hit or miss. My favorite item to get from here is not the burger, rather their Tri-tip Steak sandwich. Service is fairly good most of the times, they do a great job keeping the place clean. I gave their burgers a chance before and it came out pretty small and dry. A disappointment compared to the better choice across the street, In n Out. However, their Tri-tip steaksandwich keeps me coming back. There is just something about the way Habit makes it. Also, their onion rings are usually fried pretty good. Can’t say the same for their french fries though. If you do come, I would recommend trying their Tri-Trip steak sandwich with sourdough and teriyaki sauce!

I would have given more stars because their food is actually pretty yummy, but unfortunately it’s always a nightmare and quite frustrating to find a table here. Whomever planned the layout of this location did a really poor job of it. How logical is it to think 5 booths, 2 small tables and one bigger table would accommodate all the foot traffic that comes in through here. There are outside seating but that’s really a struggled decision of whether you would prefer to freeze outside with cold food or attempt to bring the food home, resulting in cold food. Even when it’s warm out there still isn’t enough seating. I’m so disappointed by the layout alone, its hard to want to eat here often solely because you can never find a place to sit and enjoy your food. I really wish there was a way to improve this situation, until then I have to keep at two stars.

What you can expect from«The Habit Burger Grill»!!! Fresh tasty burgers for sure!!! Besides these not-so-greasy-large-sized burgers, their onion rings($ 2.45) & french fries($ 2.05) were great too. Crunchy onion rings and freshly made non-dripping potatoes were just fantastic. Serving time was quick and staff were friendly. However, it was tough to find good seat indoors. Although they’ve helpful heaters outside, can’t afford to eat out during this cold winter. Their Chocolate Shake($ 3.45) was neither too icy nor overly sweet, was just perfect for me. Veggie Burger — $ 5.25 Comes in with veggie patty, served on a toasted French roll or Grilled sourdough or regular seeded wheat bun. Includes veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions with honey Dijon dressing. This fast food chain is located @ The Block, Pacific Commons, Fremont. Din’t have any issues finding a good parking spot at the lot. Overall, the food was filling enough to fight hunger for hours!!!

This place has some great quality food. The quality of food is great however this place has 2 things working against it. 1. Layout — This place’s floor plan always makes it looks super crowded. Even if thier is only one person in line the place looks packed. Not, «wow that place is popular we should eat there» packed. But, «wow they are always so crowded lets go somewhere else». 2. Staff — Don’t get me wrong they are all very nice and kinda. However the girl who helped me was focused on everything else going on inside the restaurant instead of taking my order. Now, she was successful in taking however moved through everything so fast and talked so fast she seemed bored or uninterested yet she clearly was not. Over all I will come back. Just tell Pricella to slow down when she is talking to people. Like a lot…

Burger place near my school is always a plus. I got #1 the original charburger with everything except the pickles and tomatoes(«everything» refers to lettuce, caramelized onions, mayo, pickles, and tomatoes). The #1 comes with fries and a drink. Their onion rings are good, but not the price. $ 2.35 for like 10 pieces. Um, no thanks. Add more rings please! Ask them for a side of honey mustard for dipping sauce. It tastes more like dijon mustard, but still so finger-lickin good! The indoor seating is kinda cramped, especially around lunch time. We opted to sit outside(but then again, we didn’t really have much of a choice). Overall, not bad. The chick taking the order was super nice and full of life. Keep it up! Haha.

Was a first timer day and left feeling bummed about my disappointing experience. I ordered a veggie burger and added bacon and avocado(both cost extra). The veggie pad wasn’t all that good(I have tried them from all over so I am picky about my veggies patties haha)…I probably won’t be getting it again. The regular burger looks phenomenal though. I’ll be sure to try a regular patty next time. I ordered to go, so just to double check with the lady giving me my food, I questioned whether or not the extra bacon and avocado were on my burger. She told me yes, and ITSUREWASN’T! That can’t be more annoying considering I live far enough away that there was no way I was going back at that point. Paid a few extra dollars, double checked, and still got robbed. Ugh. There was a longer line and only one register open. Didn’t really understand why they weren’t trying to be more efficient, but to each their own. The employees in the back seemed to be working hard… just wish my order was correct. I also got the onion rings bc I had heard good things. They were fairly decent, but not my favorites. I’m a real sucker for red robin’s and Forrest gump’s rings. These were still crispy and flavorful though, just had more breading than needed for the size of onion inside. The fries(I didn’t try personally) that were coming out for other orders looked cooked to perfection. Think I’d be safe going with their original char burger combo meal. Half the price of what I paid for. I liked the prices. Seemed reasonable(except for the extra I spent on my burger without getting what I paid for. Ahem). They also has tempura green beans that looked great. I’ll have to try those next time. They also have barq’s root beer. Love me some Barq’s.
