Yes! This place is a chipotle style version of the Dish Dash in Milpitas(which is a sit-down dining restaurant). This place is perfect for a quick lunch option! You get to pick your starch/salad, meets, veggies, and extras on the side. Total comes up to around $ 10 – 15 per dish. It’s quick and easy delicious Mediterranean lunch, something you don’t see very often! For a yummy and healthy option, I always pick the Chicken Shawarma salad with hummus and falafel. It always fills me up for lunch and I feel good for eating something that isn’t super unhealthy!

They certainly don’t dish things out in a dash, but the food is of good quality. You have 5 selections of starch and salad, which includes: a wrap, pita bread, salad, rice, and Freekem(organic, roasted green wheat, edamame-corn, salsa, protein or veggies). You have 6 selections of protein, which includes chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, kufta kebob(ground certified angus beef, mixed with ground all natural lamb, herbs, garlic-yogurt), chicken m’sakhan(grilled boneless, natural chicken thigh, caramelized onions, sumac, allspice, garlic-yogurt), lamb shawarma, and fish fillet. You have 8 selections of vegetables: falafel or veggie(eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini, cauliflower, almond– basil, tahini), pea sprouts, eggplant, tomato chutney, feta, avocado, and mushroom/onion. You have 12 selections of sides: hummus, fries, fava beans, tabouli, falafel, labaneh, lentil soup, salad, freekah, babaghanouge, veggies, and basmati rice. Your best bet is to order one starch or salad, one protein or veggies, and 2 sides. Exceptions are that you can choose 5 sides for $ 8.50 and any sides a la carte are $ 3.50 each. Proteins and veggies range in price anywhere from $ 7.50 to $ 9.95, depending on what you order. Had a great experience here. There was no line because we got here around 3pm. It’s worth the hype though, despite the fact that it opened a while ago. Would share this experience with others.

Came here a few times with friends & nibbled off of their food before I finally came back to order my own plate! I sure loved it! Upon arrival you order first before sitting down. You order your style first: rice, pita, salad, etc. then protein: chicken, beef, lamb, etc. then you can choose to add sides: 2 sides for $ 2.50. I ordered salad with beef & ordered rice & fries. Funny story… I was trying to stay away from carbs so I ordered the salad… But ended up getting carbs anyway. Lol! There’s indoor & outdoor seating so I opted to sit outside in the sun :) There’s a carrier for sauces you can take with you(but return after). There’s 4 different sauces. My favorite is the garlic yogurt. YUUUUM. I put that on everything! Now, on to the food. LOVELOVELOVE! Fries were crispy, rice was soft & flavorful. Beef was juicy!!! Omg. My dish was so tasty!!! And, portions are more than enough to leave you fuuuullll! Great food, friendly workers, beautiful atmosphere! Makes for a wonderful experience! I’ll be back!

Great food the service can be blah a lot of the time. But it doesn’t keep me from coming back. I even had a hair in my plate once and I still come back. They didn’t give me a free meal Or anything but they did remake my entire plate :) It’s absolutely delicious and so filling. I get the chicken shawarma plate with rice hummus and the mixed veggies. Yummy! It’s about $ 10.50 per plate with 2 sides. They also have amazing fresh squeezed juice it’s a must try! Better priced then Jamba Juice and I think they have a better selection. Something to think about next time you go to auto mall parkway for Jamba ;) The pineapple orange is my favorite! You won’t be sorry give it a try.

Dish n Dish is any day one of my favorite places to quickly grab a Mediterranean meal. Since this location is in the Pacific Commons Mall, it’s ideal to get a meal before or after a movie. There’s ample indoor and outdoor seating area, which makes very convenient to accomodate the large crowd that comes in. I ordered rice with chicken M’Sakhan with a side of hummus and baba ganoush, and my husband ordered a pita with chicken Shawarma. When the order is ready, the coaster pager buzzes and you go get the food. Both the dishes were fabulous. Relished every bite of the meal. And the price — unbeatable! I’ll definitely eat at Dish n Dash whenever I come to the Pacific Commons to catch a movie.

I am already a fan of Dish Dash in Sunnyvale and have been looking forward to trying their fast casual version Dish n Dash for awhile. I’m so glad a location opened up closer to me in Fremont. I came here for lunch with Ken L. over the weekend around 11:30am. Their menu was clear and concise and ordering at the counter was a breeze. You get a buzzer to know when your food is ready. 1. Choose a starch or salad(wrap, pita, salad, rice, or freekah) 2. Choose a protein or veggies. You can add toppings for an additional cost. 3. Add sides at an additional cost. I ended up ordering the lamb schwarma with freekah(smoked organic roasted green wheat). I got the tabouli and falafel as my sides. Ken L. ordered the beef schwarma pita with falafel and basmati rice on the side. The portions were a good size. I like how the plate they serve the food on was divided into thirds so the food had their own space. This was my first time having freekah. It was like quinoa and was fluffy and tasty. The lamb schwarma was pretty good. The tabouli tasted very fresh and the falafel had a nice outer crust and was not greasy. Don’t forget the sauces in the refrigerated area! You have a choice of a garlic yogurt sauce, chipotle tahini, chili, and a tamarind cilantro sauce. Dish n Dash also has fresh squeezed juice on their menu. They have a mini jamba juice like station see up behind the counter so you know your drink is made to order. Overall, I enjoyed the food here. Service was great and the place is very clean.

3.5÷5 Average food, average service, and average pricing. Good place for a casual lunch. Ordered the pita with lamb. Good flavoring and nice consistency to the pita and filling. I wouldn’t say it’s a must go, but that it was decent. I wished they could improve in their house sauces. Would come again without a fuss, but won’t jump for joy for dish n’ dash.

Sides veggie and baba ganoush FTW. Main course is good but there are better. Went here late night Saturday with two others. No one was in line so we ordered immediately and was served in okay-ish time. I got a chicken shwarma in a pita plus the veggie and baba ganoush sides. The sides were AWESOME. Veggies were roasted and served with a green, yogurt/hummus sauce. It tasted great. Baba ganoush had lots of flavor, was slightly smokey? I liked it. The pita itself was decent, don’t get me wrong, but I found the meat a bit dry and the veggies a bit old. When the cucumbers are yellow and the onions and tomatoes seem to have bleached out their colors, you know its not that fresh. We got there around 9PM, which may have left us with the scraps of the day, but wasn’t visually appealing. They have trays of sauce(comes with 4 squirt bottles). Delicious. Get the cilantro one and you don’t regret.

TLDR: Decent food, decent price. We found this place randomly on Unilocal, and decided to try it because of the high ratings. I got the falafel pita with fries and tabbouleh, but we all ordered something different so I got to try a lot of the sides. The roasted veggies and baba ghanoush were by far the best. They also have a few sauce combos that we haven’t seen before. I think our favorite by far was the tamarind one. The reason I’m giving it only giving it three stars is because the salad they put in the pita didn’t match well with the other flavors. It also ended up making the pita really soggy, ruining the rest of my meal. I think the food here is a little hit or miss, it might take a few tries before you find the combo that you like the most. The good thing is that the price is pretty reasonable for retries.

Finally I get to try the DishDash family food! Was spontaneously in the area, and luckily it was one of the few options open late nearby. When it was completely packed next to Five Guys on a Saturday night, I took that as a good sign. Not gonna lie, that menu’s a bit overwhelming. Like a middle eastern Chipotle with three times as many options — more meats, wraps, and a LOT of sides! I went for lamb shwarma in the wrap, plus falafel and hummus as my sides. For about $ 11 that’s not bad. I opted to add feta to my wrap for that extra salt content. I definitely regret it, considering you can bring 4 bottles flavorful sauces to your table to make up for it. Cilantro tamarind was definitely the most unique, and after that the yogurt, chipotle, and chili sauce tasted as expected. Honestly, the food is good but not great. Meat is great, but some bites were definitely lost in that stuffed salad. I don’t really know why I got lavash when I hate it — it’s the kind you’d find anywhere else if that’s your thing. My friend opted for a pita, and while not as bad as Falafel Drive In’s, there’s still the same problem of the stuffing sogging down the sandwich and breaking it up. The sides are just too varied in quality. The falafel was okay. The hummus was solid, albeit mildly seasoned. Surprised that the best side we got was the roasted vegetables of all things. I might have to come back — maybe I just ordered the wrong things for me. I’m still excited to try out DishDash one day and its other South Bay locations, but my hype has definitely been tempered.

YUMM! My boyfriend chose this spot to try out and this place was great! We came here during lunch hours and this place was pretty packed. Although the line was long, their service was fast. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with 2 sides(fries & basmati rice) to share. The presentation was very nice, looks gourmet. I really liked their wrap, it was juicy and flavorful, and had tons of meat, just delicious! The rice was okay, kinda flavorless and dry, nothing special. The fries were thin and a bit oily, but it was tasty. I would definitely come back for their wraps, its something new that I don’t eat often.

Not to be confused with DishDash Grill in Milpitas, Dish N Dash is located it the Pacific Commons shopping complex. They specialize in quick Middle Eastern fare such as wraps, pitas, and rice dishes. The concept is simple: Pick a starch or salad, pick a protein or veggie, and pick 2 sides from their list. STARCHORSALAD: Wrap, Roll, Pita, Rice, Salad or Freekeh(Fluffy, organic, roasted green wheat, edamame-corn salsa) PROTEINORVEGGIES: Chicken, Beef, or Lamb Shawarma, Kufta Kebob, Chicken M’sakhan(Grilled, Boneless, Natural Chicken Thighs w/onions and Sumac(yes!), Falafel or Veggie. SIDES: Too many to name, but you have Freekeh, Babaghanouge, Basmati Rice, and Tabouli to name a few. For this visit, I picked rice, Lamb Shawarma, and Freekeh and Tabouli. I also added an extra protein with the Kufta Kebob. My first impression was the it looked extremely fresh. Tasted exactly like it looked! The flavors are similar to the sister stores in Milpitas and Sunnyvale, but they had their own flavor profile. Probably from the freshness of the salads. Also, you have your choice of sauces with your meal. They come in a top-loading refrigerator to the left of the ordering counter. There are 4 different types, but you can grab all 4 and bring it to your table since they come in handy carrier. The sauces are chili hot sauce, tamarind cilantro, chipotle tahini, and garlic yogurt. I tried and liked all 4 of them, but it probably just depends on what your eating. The hot sauce goes with everything, but the tamarind cilantro I think pairs better with chicken and the garlic yogurt with lamb. But, I’m sure you couldn’t tell from the way I mixed and matched during my meal! They do orders by phone, fax, online or iPhone app. If you go too close to 12, might be best to phone it in to go. While the restaurant is average size, it fills up pretty fast, and the parking lot can be crazy in that area since PF Changs and Market Broiler and right across. Not to mention Five Guys is next door. Lastly, while I haven’t had it here yet, they do carry my favorite dessert from the Milpitas branch… The Baklava Crumble. Quite simply, Tahitian vanilla bean gelato with crumbled Baklava. Simple, but oh so good. In fact, don’t be surprised if you see me there with THIS is my appetizer!

«M…MM…MMM… Are literally the elevation of sounds from my mouth from each surprising bite. I’m a regular at the Dish Dash restaurant in Milpitas and hold their standards pretty high. So when I heard of this new«build your own» Mediterranean fast food joint and found out it was associated with Dish Dash — I was more than excited to get my feast on. So it starts: 1. Choose a starch or salad — I usually go with the rice, although the pita pocket is also tasty. 2. Protein — the struggle is always real — between my love for chicken or my cravings for fish 3. Choose 2 sides — this part is also tormenting(because I really want it all!) but I usually opt for the NECESSITY(Fries) and either falafel or hummus. 4. Be sure to grab their variety of sauces — they are ALL tasty! My faves are the Cilantro and Garlic Yogurt sauce. Can we talk about the food a little more THOUGH: (1) Chicken Shawarma — chopped up pieces of flavorful, tender meat. The flavor isn’t overpowering so you can drizzle one of their delish sauces all over. (2) Grilled Salmon — fish is grilled perfectly and seasoned well — they also add this special green sauce on top that does wonders. (3) Falafel — is good, although not the best I’ve had. Overall tasty and packed with flavor, although a little overcooked and hard to bite. (4) Fries — are DELICIOUS here. They come out piping hot and super crispy, lightly seasoned & ready to be dunked in the GARLICYOGURT sauce(trust me, you won’t regret it). (5) Hummus — is not amazing, but good — very good actually. It’s nice and simple, with light seasoning and a slight drizzle of olive oil. (6) Pita — is actually meh here(not pita pocket but pita side bread) — the fluffy side pita you expect is not what you’ll get here. They pass out their pita with every meal so I obviously didn’t expect fresh fluffy side pita — but I def. wouldn’t settle for their substitute. It’s pretty much a(paper) thin pita chip — just 4 – 5 tiny rectangles of flat, cold, sad looking things. (7) Baklava Crumble — this sweet treat completely makes up for the sad pita — it’s AMAZING! Yummy tahitian vanilla ice cream is topped off with crumbled pieces of delish baklava for great texture and flavor. Overall given the good prices, generous portions, and quality fresh flavors — this place is def. my go to.

A place that you can most definitely dash right after eating! Not authentic Mediterranean food by any means, but definitely a quick place for lunch if you were in the area. I came here on a rainy Friday night around 9 pm for a late dinner with 3 others. The«Step 1, 2, 3» are easy to follow so we ordered our meal quickly! Step 1: choose the base(freekah, salad, wrap, pita, etc) Step 2: choose the protein or vegetables AND sides(+$ 2.50 for 2 different ones) //ranges from $ 7.50-$ 9.50. Step 3: Drinks and stuff We ordered: –1 lamb shawarma wrap with falafel and fava beans //($ 8.95 + $ 2.50) To be honest, I think they got the order wrong and gave us a beef wrap instead of lamb. Regardless, big slabs of meat! It wasn’t seasoned at all, which is good since you can add your own sauces and such. Falafels… are just not my thing. But they give you four decent size pieces that are soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. –1 kufta kebab salad with falafel and lentil soup //($ 8.95 + $ 2.50) An abundance of salad! I was afraid adding two sides would make my salad smaller(which it did) but the kufta was enough to help. They gave three large(and long) pieces of kufta. A bit too salty(oh dear) but it’s still meat? I liked my lentil soup! Perfect for a rainy day or to get in some fiber. –1 chicken shawarma salad with tabouli and basmati rice //($ 8.95 + $ 2.50) Chicken is chicken, you can’t screw it up! My sister ordered this, and her tabouli looked fine but her rice looked pretty dry… she has pretty high standards so she thought her food was pretty subpar. Pros: –Clean environment. Great place to dine with kids and family! –Good portion size. Definitely filled me up! –Nice variety. It was easy to understand what to order and there was a good selection for vegetarians and carnivores. Cons: –Kind of pricey. Just choosing the protein is decent($ 8-$ 10) but when you add the two sides, a drink, maybe their dessert, its pushing to a $ 15+ lunch(or I guess, a cheap dinner). –Everything was pretty bland. Which is good and bad! You can keep it as healthy as you like. Tips/Observations: –Next to the drinks is the area with the trays of sauces! Each tray of sauce has 4 types. To be honest, they all taste watered down. Overall, it is a good late night spot to hit up if you haven’t eaten yet but it won’t be my #1 place to eat Mediterranean food.

Came here after watching a movie at the theater with my family. I’d heard good things about this place and noticed its great rating on Unilocal,so we thought we’d try it out! Pros: + Cool concept. Like many other reviews say, this is like a Mediterranean style Chipotle. You can pick a wrap, a rice bowl, a salad, etc. along with meat and toppings. Cons: — I didn’t think the food was particularly good or anything… — Portions are kinda small — Also kinda pricey… — Honestly didn’t live up to the hype ATALL. Overall: Considering food, price, and portions, I don’t really think I’d ever give Dish n’ Dash another try.

Stopped by here last night for dinner, since I noticed it was open in Pacific Commons. It’s nice to see some new restaurants opening in South Fremont. As I walked-in, the restaurant had ample interior and exterior seating. I liked that there was a nice variety of seating types(booths, tables & counters) available. I ordered the Chicken M’sakhan Pita with Hummus and Falafel. My wife ordered the Chicken M’sakhan wrap, salad and fries, while my son ordered the Chicken Shawarma Pita, fries and Basmati rice. The food was delicious, the pita’s were stuffed with a lot of ingredients and were very tasty. Feel free to add the 4 different sauces(chili, chipotle tahini, cilantro tamarind and garlic yogurt). The Falafels were cooked perfectly and I only wish I had more. The Hummus was creamy and very flavorful. I’d prefer they give you the same pita with your Hummus. The ones they provide aren’t as good. The rice and fries were just OK. I also enjoyed the Baklava Crumble to cap-off the meal.

The Chipotle of middle eastern food! So basically you get to choose your base, protein, and sides(+2.5)! Each base comes with different veggies. You can also add other toppings with a extra charge. They also have set styles if you don’t feel like making your own! I got a wrap with chicken m’sakhan with hummus and basmati rice. Oh man, that chicken was so flavorful with the perfect marination. I loved the rice too. I can’t wait to come again to make other combinations!

One of my favorite places to grab lunch during the week, and all I have to do is drive down the street! Dish n Dash is the ‘fast food’ version of DishDash(the sit down restaurant). You get to choose what you want to it, and how you want to eat it – in a wrap, pita, salad, with freekeh(type of grain), or with rice! You can mix and match with the variety of toppings, flavors, and sides. I love the salad here, because unlike other places, it’s at least 50% meat, and not mostly leaves. I always joke that I’m mostly eating protein, and the leave are just for garnish. With a salad, you can also add 2 sides for $ 2.50. I always opt for the lebaneh(yogurt cheese) and fries. It’s not heavy, and it’s quite filling. If you’re looking for more pluses, they also serve fresh juice and you can grab some complimentary lavash at the front!
