Ordered a honey butter chicken biscuit. It was the best I’ve ever had. Tasted very fresh!

I didn’t used to like whataburger. But this location is on top of their game. The food is good, the place is clean, and it doesn’t feel like your getting fast food. I especially like the way come to your table with condiment trays. One star reduced because the experience can vary based on who is working that day. Orders seem to get messed up here daily.

Today, Adrian marked the SIXTH person that has gifted me with a free iced tea for my first stop of the morning. They make my ENTIRE day with that small gesture thanks y’all

I don’t get it. The food is bland. Maybe the worst hamburger in America. Drive five more minutes and go to Porky’s. If that is not an option. skip a meal.

Whataburger is hands down my favorite chain. But this FBG location is hit or miss. Last 3 visit thru drive thru have all resulted in wrong orders. I live too far to drive back and is frustrating to order and pay for bacon cheese burger only to drive home after a long day and get a dry plain burger with no cheese or bacon. Wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t have to pay extra for something I didn’t get. Will try Dairy Queen next time.

Perhaps if Whataburger were more readily available in my life, I’d take it for granted. But seeing as I’ve only been to Texas(where Whataburgers are as common as In N Out’s in SoCal) twice in the last decade and been to Arizona(where you can find WhataBurgers if you look) just as rarely, the fact is a trip to one of these orange and white striped fast food joints is nothing short of a rare joy for me. The location in the quaint Hilly Country town of Fredericksburg was where I was able to enjoy my most recent Whataburger adventure, while I was visiting for 24 hours during a film festival. I opted to try something new, a risk considering my visits to the chain are so rare and deviating from the normal Jalapeño Whataburger could leave me filled with regrets, but I was extremely pleased with my A1 Thick and Hearty Burger served on Texas Toast. It was a more than worthy substitute for my usual(and by usual, I mean less than once every three years) order. The crispy Fries are exactly what you want, especially when you dip them in the chain’s famous Spicy Ketchup. Whataburger is no In N Out, but I can get In N Out any day I darn well please. This is a chain I love and have enjoyed every time I’ve visited, and while it’s true absence makes the heart grow fonder, I’m awfully fond of those bright orange signs on the rare occasions I pass them on the highway of life.

This Whataburger may quite possibly have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from a fast food restaurant. I work close by, so it’s convenient for me to swing by for lunch. EVERY single time they mess up my order. It’s almost become a joke as to «what will they mess up this time»!

I’ve been a Whataburger fan for years. Many years. I was thrilled to see one opening in Fredericksburg. Yes, they are working hard to get things right, and mainly succeeding. Now I don’t have to drive to the big city anymore. Clean, friendly staff. Good parking.

We travel through Texas just to get a Whataburger. Period. This particular location gets the review because the staff was so friendly and we had breakfast with some locals. Biscuits and gravy — delish. Jalapeño cheddar sausage egg biscuit — likewise! I love this joint. And I cant say enough about the standard Whataburger — perfect bun, diced onions, diced lettuce, mustard(a house specialty) and pickles. This is what every fast food burger should strive to be. Love love love it. And the staff here is awesome. Clean, friendly, fast and family owned. Perfect.

I have been eating at Whataburger since the 1970s and the food is always consistent and good. This new store in Fredericksburg has only been open 5 or 6 months and this was the first time I have been here. It looks clean and new like it should but I was appalled tonight when I entered the store. The counter person taking orders also had a pan of fresh cinnamon buns between the cash registers cutting and packaging them in between orders! He was wearing serving gloves alright but he was also handling money in between slices of cinnamon buns without removing or changing the gloves. His supervisor was even standing next to him telling him to do it! I’m going back to Sonic! At least you can’t see what they are doing. New employees might not know but the Whataburger management should know better than to bring open containers of fresh food out and work on it at the cash registers with contaminated hands.

Very clean resturant! Burgers were very good. Service was fast and food was hot and correct. Even with the parking lot looking busy, the restaurant had plenty of seating. Good for a stop with kids if you are passing through.

First of all automatic stars for being the only 24 hr joint serving food in small town Fredericksburg. Located on 290 just as you are heading into main downtown. Prior to Whataburger it was hard to find anyone serving food after the hours of 9−10pm. This is my first time at a Whataburger, so I have nothing else to compare it too, except for the many other fast food joints I have been to in my life. First, this place is brand new and clean. Second, the service was incredible even in the late night hours — even smiles! Plus, uniquely they brought out our food to our table with a tray of condiments to select from, nice touch. The food was hot and fresh, and my friend enjoyed her chicken, and I found the fries tasty. Also, I liked that Whataburger as a organization is family owned and operated.

We were all so excited about getting a Whataburger. Whataburger is our go to fast food when we are on the road. However, we have been nothing but frustrated with this one. Every order has been wrong or cold. My husband’s motto is «5 strikes… You’re out!»
