Our go-to for breakfast tacos on Saturday mornings! It’s a great relaxed place for families and a no frills dining experience. It’s just yummy food and decent service most days but the prices can’t be beat!

I’m in Fredericksburg on my anniversary with my husband. We really wanted good Mexican food since we are from south Texas. This place was amazing. I also loved the white queso dip. Pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and flavor. It’s not as good as some in my hometown but comes close which is good enough for me.

Unfortunately we can here to have dinner. Ordered the rib eye special. 1st it was round steak so tuff and freezer burnt that my husband could not cut the meat. I ordered the fajitas combo and the beef was spoiled, the chicken was full of fat and I didn’t even try the shrimp because they smelled bad. I hope I don’t get sick from eating 2 bites. We will NEVER go back!!!

Delicious. As often as we come to Fredericksburg this was our first time here and the food and service was fabulous. All of the food was delicious and large portions. We will be back with every visit to Fredericksburg!

I will never eat here again. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food while watching every table around us(who arrived after us) get their food, I asked the girl who filled our coffee for an update on our order. She said we were next to be served. After seeing three other tables get their food, I walked up the the cash register and asked again and was told we were second in line. We were told they had a lot of to-go orders to take take of. When we finally got our food, some of the orders were wrong. During all of this, not once did our waiter check on us. All I can say is at least our food was warm once we finally did get it.

Went here for breakfast, got breakfast tacos that were tasty & very filling. Enjoyed the food, and the sauces they had on the table. If we had more time would have come here and tried lunch. Service was a little slow.

I was in a real rush when I arrived. They made the food quick and it was very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly, and the food was fairly authentic. I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy this place more often!

What a great place to eat breakfast with the locals and enjoy a very good meal, too. It was so nice to share the dining room with sheriff’s deputies, LCRA crewmen and the ranchers/farmers. We knew we were in a hometown place. Also, we were the only ones to need a menu. That told us a lot, too! The huevos rancheros we delicious along with the sides of beans and home fries. The Migas were equally good. The tortillas were fresh off the griddle, warm and tasty. Service was quick and efficient as well. We’ll be back next time we are in town.

Considering I am from the«big city» and have tried many a Mexican Food places in addition to the fact that my husband is Hispanic, the ONLY thing positive I have to say about this place is the Menudo in my husband’s opinion. I didn’t have it but my husband did and he looks high and low for a place that serves it. So to his surprise, this place does and it was to his liking. However, the chips are stale, the service is slow and RUDE! and the charro beans were not cooked tender. Their version of fajitas, especially the chicken, were just pieces and I joked that they must have taken the left overs from other tables and put them on a flat grill, tossed them in oil and added them to the beef to serve.(I really hope that is not the case) The beef was in strips like fajita is usually served. The flour tortillas were«homemade» but they were overcooked and burned. I come to FB every year for vacation(5 years now) which is my little piece of heaven and we tried the other Mexican restaurant up the road before but was not too impressed so that is why we decided to go here. Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience for us and we will definitely will NOT be going back. Perhaps management needs to train its staff to be more courteous and attentive to their customers and teach the cooks how to make real Mexican food! So those of you reading the past reviews, keep in mind they are from last year and only one from January 2015. We ate here just the other day, July 5th, 2015.

We are tourists on spring break in Fredericksburg and we’d done a touristy Biergarten for lunch and wanted something off the beaten path for supper. Unilocal said this place was NOT full of tourists and that was enough for us. It’s quite big and wasn’t too full when we arrived. A trio was playing live music, which was a blend of Mexican songs and old American standards. It was unusual and kind of fun. We seated ourselves and a hostess brought chips and salsa quickly. The salsa was fresh and cold and had a good flavor. We ordered several things, including an enchilada platter with four different enchiladas, a chicken enchilada plate with verde sauce and a soft chicken taco. Nothing was mind-blowing, but it was all fresh and tasty. The beef enchilada I had included chunks of potato, which I found interesting, and tasty. Our waiter was young and sweet. His English was broken, but even when we needed to change a menu item, they worked it out and all was well. Fun little place tucked in a strip shopping center. I’d go back for sure.

We went in for Breakfast twice during our time in Fredericksburg. I’m not a big Mexican fan so I’ll use my review to say what my friends thought: They apparently make their own breakfast tortillas, which are apparently amazing. I, personally, was not impressed with the breakfast tacos, and much rather enjoyed the breakfast burrito. It was mostly just egg, with little pieces of meat in it. The service is pretty decent, if not a littttleeee slow, but not terrible; she was also super sweet.

Their breakfast is pretty great. Exactly what you would expect from a tex-mex diner. Cheesy, greasy, and great flour tortillas.

Friendly service, good breakfast, and not overrun with tourists. Probably explains the reasonable pricing too.
