We have had carry out a couple of times from this restaurant and each time there were things missing or the food was super greasy! I wanted a steak the other night and we decided we would try to dine in. There was one young girl waiting on all of the tables and the poor girl was either new or overwhelmed, mind you when we went in we were the only people there. We both ordered the chef’s special steak dinner which was a 12oz ribeye with 2 sides. The waitress didn’t even ask us how we wanted our steak cooked or what dressing I wanted on my salad and started to walk away. I called her back to give her the info. I got a baked potato and side salad and my husband got a baked potato and corn on the cob. Our dinners came out and when the waitress put the plates on the table I looked at my husband’s plate and his steak was totally black on the top. I was trying to butter my potato but it was so cold the butter wouldn’t even melt! I then cut into my steak and I could barely cut it it was so tough! Ribeye is usually very tender and especially since I ordered medium rare! I took a bite and almost barfed! It was sooo tough and tasted like a dirty grill! You could not taste any meat and it was like I licked a grill! I asked the waitress for a manager and a lady came over with a big scowl on her face. I explained everything and she didn’t apologize or anything and continued with the same scowl on her face. She asked if we wanted new steaks and I was like, no way! She asked if we wanted to order something else and we declined. She said she wouldn’t charge us and there is no way we were going to pay $ 34 for two burnt steaks! We ended up going to Dairy Queen for dinner and it was much better food and so much cheaper! This place will never last with the poor quality of food and the terrible customer service!

Merry Christmas. On 12/24/2015, my family and I placed an order for takeout since they have no delivery. When we return home we found we were missing two appetizers and two salads. We called to say we were coming to pick up the missing items and were told that the kitchen closed at 7:35. After much disagreement I was told that I could actually pick up the missing items on Christmas Day. I was finally told that I would not be charged for the entirety of the bill even though I had asked that only the items that were not delivered would be taken away and that the tip I have provided for holiday fare would be eliminated. Today I found out I was charged the full amount including the holiday tip. My recommendation is to inspect very carefully all bags coming from this restaurant in full view of customers and staff before leaving the property. I will not be dining here again due to the lack of integrity.

Not going to make it! This was my second and last visit. I tried them when they first opened and yesterday to see if they had gotten any better. Nope! Wait staff is harried and clumsy even though there was not a large number of customers. Food is over priced, over salty, over breaded an under whelming. $ 4 for a Sam Adams? Immediately upon entering smell of cigarette smoke is over powering and all restaraunts are to be NON smoking. Where does that smell come from? A woman, who may be the manager(?), was darting around the room in a tight black sequin top, who had a continuous scowl and a silicone rack. Not what I want or need to see in a «family» establishment, a biker bar maybe. What a disappointment.

Food wasn’t bad, however it was overpriced for quality I could expect at any other restaurant. Restaurant really lacks identity and the menu shows. Cute bar area that’s added a close location to grab a drink in a completely residential area.

1st time we ate here was the first week they opened and the food was horrible and overpriced. Crab cakes are low quality flavorless mush. So last week we decided to give them another shot maybe they had grand opening bugs. Nope the food left me and the family even more disappointed. Kids burgers are 90% bun and 10% burnt meat, my kids didn’t even take 3 bights. Hot wings were so salty and had the crab cake po boy and the lettuce had the most flavor. McDonald’s leaves you feeling more satisfied.

The service was good but the food left me needing pepto. I ordered the French dip and it was nothing like what it should have been. The was way too much bbq sauce on what should have had none, same with the chicken alfredo.

I’ve been here numerous times, and each time I’ve been surprised by the quality of the food. I found out that everything is made in-house — not shipped in and warmed up like so many other«neighborhood grills» and chain restaurants. I’m sure once in a while this means something gets goofed up, which is only human, but so far it hasn’t happened to me. The reuben rolls are spectacular — and a great and unique idea! — and the salads are fresh and crisp. I recently had a chicken finger platter which was great. The chicken is hand cut breast meat, and then beer-battered and fried, for an outside consistency that’s a little more like a hush puppy. Fantastic and way too filling — it was very reasonably priced and I could only eat half the platter, although I came with a big appetite. And did I mention craft beer? By which I mean, not just a single Sam Adams tap and Guinness on draft. They have rotating taps of interesting area beers like Hardywood, Adventure, and Devil’s Backbone, and it’s worth coming in to see what’s new. The manager has a great relationship with the area distributors and understands how to bring in a good variety of brews. The staff and management genuinely care about their patrons and take an interest in feedback. From time to time, they can be understaffed because they are a starting, struggling family restaurant, but they really do their best. I hope people will give them the courtesy of understanding how hard it is to get a business like this off the ground without cutting corners, and that the Grille gets the steady and heavy patronage it clearly deserves. It’s rare to find a great place like this so conveniently located, near home and not in the middle of big box store land. Let’s keep it in business!

Like most, I was taught to say nothing at all unless I had something good to say… given that, I will start with the good. The staff(which consisted of only one server on a Friday night, but 2 people bussing tables) seemed genuinely friendly and happy to have us as guests. Also, the reuben rolls were a darn tasty appetizer. The décor of the place was appropriate and clean which is always a p Now, as for the entrees… not much to write home about. The shrimp po boy sandwich consisted on 4 shrimp and was served on a kaiser hoagie roll that offered nothing to the sandwich. The«remoulade» sauce was smooth is texture and tasted like a combination of ketchup, mayo and honey mustard. In no way was this a remoulade. My lady friend got the pork chop that was decently tasty, but the mashed potatoes were gray in color due to being hot held entirely too long. This place has a phenomenal location given all of the residences in the area. They have plenty of craft beer available and a nice setting. The menu needs to match the rest of the place! Offer a more entrée driven menu during dinner, at least on the weekends and get creative with your offerings!

A comfortable, friendly neighborhood bar and grille — craft beer on tap and great food. Mike and Matt behind the bar are awesome, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great place for live music on Friday nights, a beer after work, or a meal with the family. The Reuben Rolls are spectacular!

We go to the Junction a couple of times each week, and have continued to enjoy the personable service. Still relatively new, but it is a great place close to home and we will probably be there on a regular basis(it is usually our stop on our way home, after a day out on the lake). The food is good, the beer is ice cold and the atmosphere is someplace we are happy to take our family. With live music, it makes a Saturday date night great also. The owners are genuine, engaged and interested in hearing from their customers, and after I read some of the reviews both on Unilocal and Facebook, I see where they have taken the criticism seriously and worked to resolve issues. They are willing to change their menu based on customer feedback, and see real value in listening what folks want in their neighborhood. Having been around the world and all over the states(like many in this area), this place is a gem that the owners are determined to polish into a real jewel.

Went there tonight with a small group we had the club sandwich, fish and chips, and chicken strips. Everything was served piping hot and seasoned well. Beer is nice and cold also. Have been there 3 times and will definetly go back several more times.

I have been to The Grille on multiple occasions and have never had any issues! The food is wonderful and the service is great. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. I have brought friends and they had nothing but great things to say. It’s a great, little place to hang out, relax and enjoy some good food!

Went in with a group of seven for lunch. We were greeted right away and felt welcome. The music that the kitchen staff was listening to was coming through the door and into the dining room. They were listening to classic rock, which is cool with me, but I’m glad they realized on their own how loud it was and turned it down so that it wasn’t a distraction to the diners. I thought the food took a little too long to come out for a lunch service, but it wasn’t all that bad. I don’t think anyone was blown away by their meal but everyone enjoyed their food just fine and had nice things to say. Everyone in the group said they would go back again. Their draft beer selection is pretty impressive! They actually have craft beers from around Virginia on tap. I’m looking forward to stopping in one of these days for some beer and wings. What’s so exciting about this place is the location. There’s now a place with decent quality food and prices for those in Falmouth that don’t want to deal with the Rt. 3 and Rt.17 headaches on a weekend(or anytime for that matter). Hopefully they keep up the good work, keep trying to make improvements where necessary, and stay in business for a long time!

Tried this place a few weeks ago. Food was ok. Nothing really to brag about and in my opinion price was a little high for what you get. The place is hidden and almost no one was there but wanted to try something new.

They were out of burgers, cheese steaks, shrimp, bacon, and just about everything else. They were understaffed and it took forever to take our order and then it took forever to get our order at which point my fries were replaced with tater tots because they ran out of French fries. I don’t know if it is a good thing or not that the waitress was telling everyone when they came after us that they were out of everything and that the owner was at Costco. Apparently they had run out of everything last night. Hopefully this is growing pains because I have seen better on Restaurant Impossible.

Service: Busy Friday with only two servers who seem to run around frantically. Not enough coverage although they were trying… Food: Limited menu with overpriced meals. The quality of the food is lacking. Definitely doesn’t seem like anything is made in house. Some food came out cold and part of an order or steak/cheese came out a little underdone.

Somewhat limited menu. 3 kinds of burgers plus all the pasta was alfredo style. Seemed overpriced as well. 11 bucks for a cheesesteak about 6″ long with a handful of fries. Wifes burger was 8.50 and about the size of a burger king burger. The bun was literally bigger. Service was okay. Took entirely too long to get the check after everyone was clearly done. For the money and kind of restaurant it was, go to Spirits in downtown Fredricksburg. It’s not quite as nice in appearance but the service and food is spot on.
