PeekABoo3D/4D Ultrasounds

Today I had an apt here to take a sneak peek at my little peanut. (I am 12 weeks along). Avoid this place if you can. Cattle call !!! I truly felt like a number and that they were trying to rush me thru the process. I asked if I could use the bathroom and the Owner said, «no, lay down.» **Please note that my bladder did NOT need to be full for this procedure.** The female receptionist at the front desk with the short red hair was unsociable and NOT helpful in the least. Unfriendly at best and outright rude at worst. I don’t think this business will last.

Back in June, I had my ultrasound for Kaiser and was so disappointed and upset that the tech refused to find the sex of the baby. I left with my husband feeling hopeless. My husband didn’t want to see me upset so he offered to take me to a 3D ultrasound. It was 12pm on a Friday afternoon and every place in the Northern Virginia Area was booked. I saw reviews for Peekaboo and called and told them what happened and they booked me for 4pm that afternoon. We live in Manassas so it was quite a distance to travel, but it was so worth it. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The actual ultrasound room was so nice. There was a comfy bed for me to lie on, sofas for my husband and son, soft pleasant spa-​like music and to top it off the ultrasound was projected onto the wall. The tech was so so so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. We ordered the 2D pack to verify the sex, but because we had to wait a while she let us see the baby in 3D, hear the heart beat and gave us 4 pics. 2 in 2D and 2 in 3D. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them. When we have another baby we’ll return for sure.

This place is AWFUL and the front desk receptionist is absolutely HORRIBLE. Extremely rude, not helpful at all, and really ruined the experience for us when having our gender ultrasound done. Would NEVER go back to this place or recommend anyone to go to it. I should have known when booking the appointment and the same receptionist was short and trying to rush through when I was asking questions. Sorry, but you’re in the business of people trying to enjoy one of the best times of their lives… HIRE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SHARE IN THAT JOY AND BE JUST AS EXCITED!!!

This business offers «pay ahead» packages for multiple visits. The idea being that when you pay ahead for two visits, you’re able to see your baby at different stages. This is a great idea! However, trying to schedule the second appointment, they will make you jump through hoops. Your second visit should be done before 34 weeks, but they were booked up for a month. The only times I was offered were right in the middle of the day. In the end, I will have to take off of work or lose the money I put into the 2 visit package.
However, I had a friend call them the same day to see what they had available for her «first visit». They offered her several convenient afternoon spots.
Moreover, our first visit was interesting. The staff were less than friendly. I’d expect a warm/​fuzzy experience given that I’m paying to enjoy seeing my baby. That was not at all what we experienced.
